Which Circiuts should we use for DTM2? (Top 6 will get used)

Do you have a good connection Sass? If so, set the room as fixed host, quality on normal, chat disable.

Before quali start, you have to set the weight limit to 1140kg, for me to enter the pits, then change to 1120kg to Tat get in, then 1100kg for the rest of the guys.

When everybody is on the pits change the PP to 607, and get in to quali....

Don't forget to set the race to 49 laps and auto start for 30min...
Think that's all....

Or if we need Hurameshy told me he's available to host the race, since i'll not race (and he has a good connection 60M:tup: I think)
 
Good to see you guys can solve this! 👍 If you can't get a fast host the non-fixed connection is still an option. We never tried it in season 2 and since JT isn't there it might work...

And don't forget to save the replay! For tyre checking and I just like to see it!

Really pissed I must skip this race...

What times is everyone doing I did a 1 24.7 on hards still to test softs and mediums but. Looking forward too this special event aswell sounds like fun :)

I never used a wheel, I'm been always on DS3... and by the way, what wheel do you guys use?

just shows you what you can do on the controller with practise lol, Ive got you on my friends list so i'll just join through you . Symp can't believe your not racing :( oh well more points for me lol ps just kidding symp :P
 
I have the DFGT. It took about a month to really get used to. Do you guys left foot brake?

I know there are better wheels out there but this is a really good entry level wheel. After using this one, I know exactly what I want out of my next wheel. Hopefully there will be more wheels to choose from when I go to get another one. Maybe wireless by then!

I use a DFGT also. And what sass says, it takes a while to get used to it so by the end of the season you're probably back at your old level ;)
 
Guys have a good race tonight! Don't forget to write down the finishing times when finished. It's a pain to derive that from the replay.
If you pm them to me I`ll put it in the spreadsheet and post it here by tomorrow.

Goruk, I just cant beleive you were the fastest even with a DS3 :) I have a g25 and the next one will be a g27 (from logitech). Cost more but worth it. I hope to see on track tonight with your wheel.
 
My vote is in for ridding of having to type in what compound your switching to. I just pitted at the end of lap 15, selected my tires, hit pause to type what compound I was choosing and the I hit 'exit'. Because of course I want to exit the pause menu, right? I don't want my car sitting in pit lane idling. But as we all know, I exited from the race. I wasn't alone either, I guess.

With the fact that we have half the people in the race saving the replay there is no reason to type this information. We can see in the replay what tire choices were made. Also this process puts your race strategy out in the open for everyone to see. Anyone not following tire changing procedure can be penalized or disqualified after the race.

Am I just angry right now because I exited a 50 lap race on lap 15? Yes. But my opinion will not change when I calm down.

Insane are the times you guys do with a wheel, I try it out today and it's allot more difficult for me to drive with a wheel...., yet:sly:
I'm struggling with the brake sensitivity and car setup, really need to change my setup to be able to use the wheel.

I'm using FF@3 and control sensitivity@7, what you guys use?

Yep EFJ your car was a little laggi... not a big deal, but some times I was scared to overtake you....

Could not agree more! Did almost the same in the first race but realized just in time to hit the other button. It is an unnecesary distraction. I think it is created because it seemed the replay wasnt accurate enough to check the compound change. But thats not true, we know now. So we must get rid of that rule as soon as possible!

I had this during practice last week. Had to reboot the game cause there was no menu to continue or leave the track. I think this happens if you don't enter the pit correctly so you get stuck against the wall...

But it seems a lot has happened today. I Joined just in time to see you guys finishing but was wondering why half of the people were watching and not racing. I'm currently working with Hurameshy to get the replay. Curious what happened there on Laguna!

Goruk to get your brakes setup right turn abs off drive along a straight slam on brakes and watch the tyres when the go red thats them locking up.

you want all the the tyres to be doing and equal share of the braking, you don't want them locking up but if they do you want the car to be stable as possible also make sure rear doesn't go red before front this will make the car more unstable.

Also i find it easier to use my right foot to brake as i feel i have more control i know some people use their left because you can brake quicker as there is no gap between lifting off accel and hitting brakes.

I have my force feedback at 1 and control sensitivity at 0 ( sometimes i put this up a few on tracks like monaco to reduce effort needed to get round hairpins and really hard turns but).

Its all personal preference but im sure pretty much every driver here will say something different lol ps good luck with the wheel :P
 
Nice tips Green! I play scared with my car just because this braking and oversteering happens to much with me. I'll test this setup! I cant play great! Need the right setup and more experience.
 
So I guess I'm the guy with the muscles here having force feedback on 5 :D
I have sensitivity on 7 and if it was possible i would set it much higher. The DFGT has an enormous rotation, more suitable for road cars. And I brake with my left foot. No shoes!
 
Left foot brake, socks only! I had my force feedback at 7 but I've turned it down now.

Sorry to hear that tat. Actualy for me it's also not sure if i`ll be there. It depends on the weather here. Have to go to an outdoor party that will be canceled if it's raining. So I keep my fingers crossed for very bad weather next saturday!


BTW

We havent decided yet what to do with the special stage. Wanted to wait for JT to decide. I think he will be back this week. I go for theshort races. Dont know what track though...

Thanks for the tips guys:tup: At the moment I'm feeling comfortable with FF@3 and sensitivity@5 depending on what I'm doing.

But in the end, it's all about car setup, yesterday i was tunning my R8 Team Playstation 05 @700 PP, in the beginning I could't accelerate unless I had the car straight, after 30min did a 3'25 at Le Mans and I still have room to improve.... And I had a blast :D
