Not to change the subject or anything but we have a Special Stage to figure out. Unless its been figured out and I didn't know about it. Last season we did the NA SS on a user created track. S4Rings created an awesome track (call Mini Suzuka) and shared it on his profile. We all downloaded it and got plenty of practice before our race. I know you guys did the Top Gear track and I heard that was fun too. I don't care which way we do it but I'm going to post how we did ours so its out there for everyone to see.
We had 7 heat races that were 5 laps each. Qualifying was held at the beginning for the first race then reverse grid order after that. This gives everyone a chance to start at the front. Someone has to write down the finishing order for each race. At the end you given points based on your average finishing position. Obviously a responsible, intelligent person would be chosen to keep track of these things. Last year our points system got really screwed up, this year would be better.
Damage: Low
The damage is on low so we could really get after it! After racing with heavy damage for so long we were all very respectful of each other but the aggression was higher. Like old school touring car shoot-outs. Was there a few incidents? Yes there were. But there were 7 races. And no matter what position you were in, you were always racing hard as hell to pick up one more spot cause you didn't have time to wait. Also my vote would be for soft racing tires the whole time. Now we could set the race timer to start a race every 10 minutes.
I will have the track shared on my profile so everyone can come download it. The track by the way, is perfect. It has awesome flow and one extremely tricky corner that is always on your mind. Lap times are in the 1:15 range. I'll be honest, I told S4Rings I did not like this track at first. But the more laps I did, and when I got my transmission set correctly, I fell in love with it. I think you guys will too.
That's all I got. Whatever we end up doing is totally fine with me.
