Sorry left room guys race got delayed do long got 16 hour drive to Scotland and back tomorrow for parts for my car got to get some sleep unsafe to drive with to little sleep

Well I didn't expect to get 4th in Q, and then after getting a 4th to finish 2nd in the race hehe....

The F10 hasn't been a strong point of mine at all, I think were at Tokyo in that car next week... If anything the F10 is one of my worst cars. That and GTA V being out on Tuesday give me a feeling I wont be getting lucky again for the next race.

Arty, I'd like to practice with you proper for Tokyo, maybe we can work something out since you were super fast at Spa, I dont know what happened in that race, you got passed by big Tex and Artmann at one point?

Oh no mate that sucks incredible much we have lost very much points for the team.

What happend to you CB??

I almost fell asleep behind the wheel. So I Choose heading to bed, after crashing several times

The start was good from P3 after a stunning qualifying (1.41.7) I could have stayed P3 but my contract you see ;) and you definitely have a faster (and accident free) race pace so I let you go around the outside of turn one (easier there than try and do it elsewhere without holding you up or losing time). I kept up for a couple of laps but little mistakes here and there and then I went an inch too deep into turn one and Rosberg (BigTex) seized on it and gave me a bit of an (unintentional) tap to put me off track and I had to wait to pick up the traction, then when I caught him up I couldn't find a way past and Webber (JB) caught up with us and... I fended Webber off until approaching the last chicane, I got the wheel onto the curb and spun, I did an early pit stop soon after that... towards the end of the race I caught up with Rosberg and Jenson (Artmann, who was on Plan Z) but, instead of being patient (I was faster than Rosberg because I had fresher tyres at that stage and those Mercs really have issues with tyres!) I tried to late brake at the top of the straight and spun and Rosberg got away... then he pressured Jenson (who was on old tyres) into a spin at the final chicane and I sweeped past his stricken car for the 4th place...

With Webber (JB) retiring with Mechanical Failure and Grosjean (CB) being blackflagged for crashing too much, I really should have achieved P3.

My pace was poor the whole race, even with new tyres.

The car was brand new so hopefully I have broken it in now so it responds better.

I've always had good one lap pace, but from Tokyo I need to remove screen information (map and driver positions) and just concentrate on driving. Smedley, shut up! That of course means that the pit crew cannot really inform me to move over so easily but we'll figure some choreography out ;)

Thank you for waiting it was really hard race for me as I did not play gt5 since thursday, I had no time to practice at all and I went straight from not playing to race mode. Spun like 5 times on the first laps, doing 1:50's. I put on hard tires on lap 30 and I had to do 15 laps on the same set of tires that's why I was spinning out towards the end Thanks again for waiting, was a good race otherwise.

HEY

When I was driving the race yesterday, I really struggled finding the motivation to
complete 45 laps. I enjoy racing with you, but I can't find the motivation to drive alone 1
hour+ every weekend at max effort no more.

I still want to join the races, but I won't be joining every weekend.

The driving in GTA V reminds me of the old crazy taxi. All vehicles, even trucks corner on a dime. It almost feels like they accelerate their speed to turn even faster.

Great game though, much more engaging than IV. The gaming world of course is very large. I want to say its around 36 square miles, maybe slightly larger. The learjet style plane I jacked only topped out at around 200 mph. So pretty slow but a very large explorable world none the less.

On thursday Arty, we'll do some practice like at Spa before the race start.

Sounds Like I have to get this. I haven't been playing GTA since San Andreas, and I still remember the old GTA 2D was great fun.

My first GTA was GTA 3 in 2001. I remember driving around for hours listining to Lazlo. :sly: BTW, "Lazlo" has a bit of a miserable time with Michael and Trevor in this game relating to Michael's daughter. :sly: Cant believe that was 12 years ago now, damn seems like yesterday. Immortal would not yet have been in school.

Arty, if your reading this head on for the practice today, I want to see if I can try and improve with drafting although I suck at the F10.

Really enjoyed that practice today really got in a zone with my times staying very consistent dissapointed arty and mustard left as wanted to see if my pace was as good as theirs was thou I did have a cheeky smile when I managed to pip arty by 100th for third place on the grid.
Hopefully I can take that pace and consistency in to Sundays race and help my team Nate out

Lol It put a cheeky smile on my face when I passed you into turn 1 ;) I watched you for a few laps after I left the race, it is a shame that straight after your pit stop you put in one hot lap and then got held up badly by the backmarkers (looked like you were having fun dicing with them though!) for a few laps or you would have got into the 1:13s for sure...

Man do I hate it when that happens. It usually only happens late but it's scary when it happens because it means it could happen while driving a real car and that's really bad.

It's 49 square miles. Manhattan is only 23.

The driving is really improved. I'd say it's some of the best arcade or open world driving other than TDU 1, forza horizon, or Driver SF.

It's one of the many things that blows past GTA's out of the water. I haven't been into open world games for a while other than Assassins Creed but V is awesome. One of the best games this year

IS GTA V really 49? I have their map and their claimed 3,000 foot ruler, I'll have to measure it and see. Yesterday I took my Batti 801 out of its storage and looped the whole world in about 10 min flat at around 110 mph average.

Anyways, good race today guys. Jb just showed more consistency than me at the end. I got distracted by the wind blowing my porch door around, and after 70 mins was ready for some R&R.

Last night was a great race I feel I should have been mixing it with arty and tex as I had the speed but made three stupid mistakes cost me and a stupidly long pit stop thanks to the gt5 glitch but looking forward to monza another of my stronger tracks
