Alonso deserved bonus points more...........he was flying high above the rest of them ;)
A high degree of difficulty, but he couldn't stick the landing.

It's a shame Kvyat wasn't able to make the start. It would've been nice to see both Redbulls in the mix... and for me to not lose points.

Under Famine's FACC system if one of your team's cars DNFs then that team doesn't score any points (or -5 in this game because Kimi's retirement was mechanical). So only your drivers scored you (positive) points.
Ferrari's second car (Kimi) DNF'd due to mechanical failure, so -5.
RIC placed 4th (+12), HUL placed 8th (+6). 18-5=13.

As I've currently got the same lineup as @MUSC4EVER, I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the explanation. 👍

So just to clarify what are you saying here (in the quote that now isn't in the above), are you referring to the real stewards or yourself as steward of the game?
Both. I realised when writing the rules that sometimes there would be collisions or incidents where no decision would be made on the day of the race and to keep the game moving one would need to be made.

If the FIA Race Stewards make a call before midnight it's their call. If they don't it's mine. In the case of Alonso no decision was, to my knowledge, made before midnight so I made it.

But hey, it's all for fun and these things are easily changed.

Not a problem, your game after all, just wanted to clarify.

Alonso didn't deserve a penalty, but he still braked later and didn't turn out of the way quick enough, therefore it was his fault. So going by wording, he does get the -5.

If a real life driver is substituted for any race, his replacement will replace your driver for that race.
This weekend Fernando Alonso will not race and will be replaced with Stoffel Vandoorne. Vandoorne will score points for Alonso.

As the season has already started will you accept late sign ups? If so:

CAR: Toro Rosso
DRIVER1: Nico Rosberg
DRIVER2: Daniel Ricciardo

@Famine

Sorry, to bother you but could I change driver 2 Button for Hulkenberg.

Had some hope for McLaren Honda this season but.....speechless :(.

Then it will be:
CAR: Ferrari
DRIVER 1: Verstappen
DRIVER 2: Hulkenberg (changed)

(47.000.000)

Yep. Any driver change made before 1 minute before FP1 of a Grand Prix counts from that Grand Prix onwards - and from the following GP if later than that.
My point total should be 30 instead of 25 since Alonso did not receive a penalty.
You don't need to read very far up this page at all.

The FIA stewards made the call post race, before midnight.
I have not been made aware of this - and by the time I watched the broadcast that evening at 8pm UK time there was still nothing. Can you provide evidence?

My drivers finished 2nd and 4th and Williams did 8th and 9th. Not horrible at all.
