You know its funny, in a span of a few minutes i've been insulted and called a liar and what not. I haven't made any personal attacks and given my opinion on how forza looks. I guess the mods can punish me on that aspect.

You said Forza 4 has some generic cockpits (which it doesn't). You have not provided proof of the claim you made. Of course you are called a liar when you say there is something in a game that is not.

I told you in the other thread don't say anything bad about FM, they will trash you  To keep it real though It's a lot of double standards going on. I haven't seen any generic cockpit in FM4 some are darker than other but all the ones I have seen look pretty good.

People need to start siting sources now lol :dunce:.

Why are Firza fans even in here. There's a great game to be played.
It's not :( Not until tomorrow evening.

His point is not void, and many of you are the problem. No one gives attention to anyone who is overly offensive or defensive on a certain subject and this thread is filled with that, it was pretty much the same when GT5 was releasing.

Oh, for crying out loud, have you been reading this thread? The kind of comments that one has to wade through in here? Like people who've never laid a hand on the game and berate its physics because they think it looks arcady in a Youtube video?!

Its not my fault forza has some generic cockpits in its list.
Remember that first post? The one in this thread? That reminds you to back your claims up? That was made by a moderator? So: Back that claim up. Now.

I haven't seen any generic cockpit in FM4

That is because there isn't any generic cockpits. Every cockpit is the actual cockpit from the car. A generic cockpit is the cardboard cutout used on all the standards in GT5. None of the premiums in GT5 have a generic cockpit. They are the actual cockpits from the car.

The "cardboard cutouts" in GT5, though ugly, are in 3D, they are not black static bitmaps, if that's what you meant.

My exact quote is the generic cockpits are a variation of one interior. Alot of the cockpits on forza have a variation of the black shiny interiors with a a/c vent placed around the car randomly. This is especially noticable in forza 3. Textures inside the car are almost non existent unlike gt where you'd find for example a ferrari with a brown leather interior.

It has been going both ways the entire thread, There have been 3 or 4 GT fans that have said pretty inaccurate things in this thread, do you know who the rest are?. I love Forza and I love GT but i cannot stand people who are overly defensive or offensive for either game, i keep on saying it but their is a lot of hypocrisy in this thread. It's not okay for any body to offer any criticism against Forza 4 (Or even 3) but as soon as people lay down a barrage of insults against GT5 they are rightful to do so. What gives.

Well I hate that in GT5 you have to use a button for the clutch, since you cant map the clutch to the actual clutch pedal in a G25 or G27. Whats that all about?

Very true. You guys should play before trolling 👍. Both titles are good imo, but I like forza better because of the customization. Thats what a console sim needs. I feel like I own my own business. I can create tunes beat times and provide the forza forum with a legit product thus earning rep. Also the auction house, sell your creations. I can ALSO use real world physical calculations to tune my car just like in the real world. Yes you can modify the suspensions in gt5 the same way, but I cant set for example my rebound value I want that unsprung weight to go down quickly to prevent any traction loss. Cant forget caster too, but i'll stop preaching.

Just look at the guys we've got at hand. There's nothing wrong with criticizing that FM4's 'Ring is inaccurate. I've been doing so myself, for example. Raging on about one single track for three or four pages in an attempt to make the whole game look incredibad because of that single track not being accurate, that's what's irking me.

Or someone who's saying there are generic interiors in FM4, when you could just google the cockpit of the coresponding car to see that it's actually valid. What do you expect the reaction to be to that kind of 'criticism'? It's just BS, really.

Also, do you expect me to go through the whole thread, count up the mistakes other people have made when 'defending' Forza and cut guys like ocelot slack when he's posting some BS because of that? I really don't think so.

I agree with you 100% thats why I said it so many double standard it's sick.

Ohhh I get what your saying now, I would not call that generic they are just not as detailed as the premium cars. I do agree with you on this. 👍

Honestly, what in the hell are you even saying?

Your complaint is that, unlike GT5 which offers interior color (based on variations of one interior), Forza doesn't and sticks to the *generic* black leather upholstery...which in and of itself are the representations of the real-life vehicle's interiors?

You can't possibly think anything you're saying makes a worth of sense.

Many games have the tracks different, maybe they change it year by year. Who knows. I think there might be some visual factors effecting the given view of inaccuracy.

In the case of FM4's 'Ring, it's known that it was intentionally widened and changed overall to make it more accessible.

Well, i'm hoping it did since you gave a reply?

He can say anything he wants as long as he back's up his claims. Dude is clearly making stuff up. Look at his track record... a FM4 dissapointment thread... :dunce: 👎

so.
It was never my intention to make this game look incredibad. This is what you are thinking. I always stated that except this issue i like this game and appreciate the effort Turn 10 put into this game. It's irking you and some others because you are being overly defensive and behaved like i was attacking you and not the game. It's just a fact that all the major racing game companies have their own version of Nordschleife and the Turn 10 one is one of the less accurate.

My track record is that i'm dissapointed with forza 4.

lol, game you never played. I would report you but this is entertaining. Matter of fact I am disappointed in spec 2.0, I would go rebuy my GT5 I traded in a few weeks ago but I am too disappointed in it to even go that route.

That last sentence I wrote was valid by the way.

I do this because i want this problem solved in Forza 5. I really DO like Forza 4 and i wand the franchise to become even better. If noone complains, nothing is gonna change. It will be my nightmare if i get the same Nordschleife in 2 years again and someone tells me they didn't change it , because it was not cost effective. I want the most challenging track in the best racing game.

That's something I can get behind. I'm not bothered by the fact that the Ring I drive in the game isn't what it's like in real life, but by the fact that T10 modeled it incorrectly (if that makes sense). The experience for me is the same.

Report me for giving an opinion? Or thats looked down upon on this side of the forums? if it is then i'll stop.

One problem I have with Fm4 is the interior accuracy whats up with the Spirt R interior? I though the Spirt R has Red bucket seats with carbon fiber on the back.
