Formula STOCK GT5 F1 World Championship Season1/Win big prizes!!

Ok. Well you didnt handle the way it ended good at all. Wouldnt it have been better for you to keep the series running, and prove AUG wrong by beating him to the overall?

People are still using these hacked cars somehow I see a lobby last night with the room name hack cars only if this is the case they can sneak in to any championship and cheat themselves to a un deserved win which is unfair to everyone who races to the rules

Remember what we discussed earlier, if someone does not intend on joining the FGT series then they shall not post in the thread,

cheers

Oh and Immortal, those superkarts cannot be that expensive, the guy said new one's cost $20,000. Did you mean $150,000 for a full season of racing?

Yes mate the kart is not expensive but the driving is expensive tyres and all this things
Euro150,000- 200,000 for a full season with kart.

EDIT: (I would never illegally drive a Super kart on the road). But certainly If I was rich I wouldn't get one for a full season! That's crazy pricing. What would really be interesting would be to make a makeshift fan underneath one of those super karts for extra downforce. :sly: There's a new type of super kart with a safety cell, I forget what their called?

Sorry, I have to ask, why the 🤬 would you spend that much on karting when you could be driving around in a formula car

You can drive maybe for this money also a small formula ford season without practice but nobody look to it.

The Formula Renault 2.0 there look many people this cost 300000Euro for a season after this you drive Formula Renault 3.5 1000000Euro for a season in Fortec Racing Team

When you want to win both you must drive

In Formula Renault 2.0 here

Well there's always National single seater championships that I'm fairly sure are cheaper, Formula Renault BARC and Formula Ford are the main ones in the UK and IMO I think you get a lot more for your money than in karting. And that's only if you want to be in a well known series, you can go a lot cheaper than those series if you just want to get experience racing single seaters, Formula Jedi FTW, it's only £25,000 a year :P

Never have hear from Formula Jedi but how £25,000? Thats much cheaper than Rotax. Maybe when you drive 4 time on the yeahr only race without mechanic and new tyres.

That price includes hiring a car for a season - 7 rounds, 2 races and 2 qualis each round, as well as a days testing on the Friday. And my mechanic is the guy who builds all the cars so he knows them inside-out, all we have to do is turn up and drive. We don't have new tyres every round, but they last for quite a while so 3/4 sets for the season is enough. You could also pay for all of the hotels/fuel in that budget, and possibly even throw in the occasional test day throughout the year :)

The Super Kart thing is just something I stumbled upon on youtube. :sly:

I agree with immortal that to have a chance at "moving up" you need a full time drive in any series with as much seat time as humanly possible. Your never going to compete with the fastest guys without lots of practice... Guys with the most money get both the fastest cars and the most practice, just look at Pastor Maldonado.

That said I found this old gem:

Sorry I didn't finish the race steering wheel went on pause 5 times on one lap see you and cb coming up behind me didn't wanna ruin your race

Well I was 1.8 sec off immortal in quali. :( Buraspo, Sick, and I were all within 1/10th. I suppose at Indy I was about 1.3 sec off so its not a disaster, factoring in the extra distance of grand valley. I watched the replay of the practice, CB was driving a perfect race pace, getting consistent laps, his tire wear was unreal! It must have been 15% better than mine, immortal got the worst tire wear, slightly worse than mine but I was going 4 secs a lap slower. :(

The dirty air is pretty bad, any time you battle someone for position you loose massive time on somebody who has space in front or behind. Max downforce/tuning would allow for easier passing, but of course we started the series as a stock league so we should probably stay the course.

our practice race
Radicals VS Mustard

nice m8. cant wait for sunday,we'll do well m8 im sure:tup:.. 3rd and 4th would be sweet:D. but both in top 5 and that would be nice:). ye dirty air is bad especially on the last sector.

Good fight, and nice radical sandwich:)

Yes Saving the front tyres seems to be a great tactic 👍

Could you check out your Pit times - it looks like the time it takes to pit varies between some people..

Pit time in the game seem to favour the first person in, also the position of entry into the pit lane makes a difference on some tracks...

It is a shame that Team Artemis' number one driver was not given space to race, I'm sure he would have been Radikill ;)

There was a random in the quali room and immortal was too preoccupied trying to beat his best lap to kick the random. We can raise the allowed number of people up to 14 for practice but that would expose us to the zombies. :sly:

Really though, we need a host who's not serious about quali AND has a good connection. (round here I'd be the best fit I suppose.) :sly:

Managed to fix the steering wheel and get some serious practice in today about 60 laps 1:23:984 best so far

Yes Guys we must see Sunday in the practice lobby how many drivers and make in the q lobby max 2 drivers more in settings.

Either that or auto kick people not signed up... You can keep your lap time if you hit "exit" in the on track pause menu. You go back to full fuel (which is why I suspect you didn't kick the random yesterday) but thats the price the host pays.

Another option is to turn tire wear/fuel sim off for quali, then turn it on for the race and have everybody line up in order. We've done it a few times now and its worked out ok. As far as tire wear/fuel being off in all honesty when was the last time you saw qualifying times in F1 being any way comparable to race laps?
