Bathurst !! That's a great news, both GT and Forza will have it then :) now if only Forza has time and weather change ... night rain racing at Bathurst in vintage sports cars would be epic with the next gen graphics.

And dont forget boys....don't forget your sunglasses

That is kind of... annoying.

But if the sunglare being too much is the only bad thing about FM5, that's a really good thing ;)

Sun glare is not new to Forza. However sun glare off of the dash onto the windshield is new in Forza 5. That will indeed be blinding. Just close your eyes on that part of the track. haha

I wonder if you'll be able to pull down the sun visor. :dopey:
I was wondering the same thing.

It seems your virtual driver in FM5 is a robotic Stig-like machine with cameras for eyes. Prettiness always wins over practicality.

It's Johnny Five, Robot Johnny Five, or Number Five. Get it right!

It's been a lonnnnnng time since I've seen either one. All I remember is a non-American character (played by Fisher Stevens if I recall correctly) calling him "Number Johnny Five" on several occasions.

Ohhh. Oh yea :D. Hearing it now with that accent, you're right. But still, you're wrong!

Good news for Bathrust! Forza5 will be a great game !

I notice that unfortunately , like all Forzas , car's shadows doesnt darken other cars ... GT5 does , Shift2 too ...

It should be nice if this detail could be added with an update ...

Weird. Not necessarily something thats going to make it worse then a different game though.

I have never noticed it in either of those two games you mentioned, and I never noticed it didnt in all of the FM's

I definitely noticed S2U's lighting system; more in the night races than daytime shadows, though. The special effects in that game are amazing.

Gaf posting about 24 players online. A leak from a French site apparently.

Not sure how much credibility it has though.

Titanfall, Project spark (for my boy) and Forza 5 is pushing me ever closer to XB1. I know I'm gonna crack.

Classic open wheel cars+24 online 60fps+Spa is freakin hard to resist. Oh my but we have Bathurst and V8's too.

My will has been broke.

It's Amazons French websites game description.

Pretty reliable I would have thought.
I remember Dan saying 8 was the max on the 360 and they doubled that by the end of its life.

Makes you wonder what else they can get out of it as time advances and they get used to working with XB1.

All the hype and excitement surrounding FM5, and just 2 months to go.

Makes me wonder why they still haven't revealed the FULL track and car list. What could they possibly be keeping? A game that ships with 10 cars and 4 tracks?

What better way to create and continually build hype than to slowly leak little tid-bits of information? If they release too much information upfront, buzz at launch WILL diminish.

Really, this is just marketing 101. Believe me, I'm in the industry.

I do know how much it sucks, though! I've been behind the scenes of some pretty big vehicle launches so I've seen the reactions, haha!

Translation of the French site:
Link racing games: Whether you are a beginner or experienced pilot, Forza Motorsport 5 is for you! Hundreds of cars reproduced to perfection, more than 120 new available from the start. Change in your garage and choose to ride on the legendary circuit or in the heart of cities around the world.

A unique multiplayer experience: With 24 drivers for the first time on the same course online, do yourself a name among the gaming communities. The matchmaking system Smart Match offers a whole new multiplayer experience, fast and competitive, perfectly suited to your skills and style. Finally for the first time, Forza5 benefit from dedicated servers.

Not sure about that 120 number. The wording itself is a little ambiguous. Is that 120 new to the series, or 120 total (new meaning they have been remodeled)? The line before it makes it even more confusing, stating Dan's favorite "hundreds of cars". Does this mean they are coming by means of free or paid DLC?

Soooo...

If they can have 24 drivers online... *shrugs*.... why not 24 offline? Would be nice to compete against 24 virtual drivers, with varying skill levels, all driving clean with precision (or at least attempting to), all the while displaying good race craft.

^^ Oh how I long for that in a Forza game!

The post isnt all that confusing. Hundreds of cars, meaning more then one hundred. We already know that we are getting cars that have been in the past Forza's. So 120 NEW cars, are just that, new cars added to the series.

Unless thats just a horrible translation that we have.

I'm taking it as 120 new to the series too; though I don't know if that includes any new cars from Horizon (like the RX-3).

That, or Arcade Mode is getting a focus like FM2, and everything other than 120 need to be unlocked.
