A while ago I posted about not getting the game unless I got a recommendation from a few trusted friends. The 3 of them told me that the game was a sound buy, so I ended up getting the standard edition. And then I got it through Play Anywhere on my PC.

On PC it is amazing! Although I am playing at 1080p, I have the settings pretty high, and it looks and plays worlds better than my Xbox One. I don't think I will play this on the Xbox again.

Yes the wheel is a bit numb for my tastes, but that may be fixed soon. Either way, the game is awesome! I'm glad I changed my mind.

Anyone know if anyone has created a list of races for each event in career mode? Shame that when you select a series you can't see which tracks you will be running until you get to the track.

Also anyone know if these cars are unlocked in career mode or if they are locked some other way. 73 TransAM, 54 Jag, Porsche 356A. I want all three of those in my garage but are locked and haven't saw them awarded anywhere yet.

Last night I had selected a lock car from the Car Collection screen, and it lets you know the possible ways to obtain it.

Unfortunately that is just a generic message that lists all possible ways to unlock a locked car, says nothing as to how to unlock that car so I was wondering if anyone had actually gotten one of them yet and if so how did they get it.

I'll try that one here and see after I finish out the series I am in.

Just for curiosity have you tried restarting the game then going straight to that track in freeplay to see if you get the same result?

Edit: I just ran a 10 lap race there, noticed some slight stuttering a time or two but no real problems.

what type of system are you running on? Cpu? Ram? Gpu? vRam?

It happens every time I race on it, whether it's the first race or tenth race I do. It's on a 7200rpm disk, Ryzen 1600, 8Gb DDR4 ram, 6Gb 1060, it seems more of a corruption but surely that would affect it on the first lap as well?

What that is telling you is that the car is randomly generated as a prize for one of those situations. Like how it works with RPG games and loot, they're all randomly generated.

I’ll check when I get home to see if it’s that model, but I got one of the classic Porsche’s through the driver level. I saw one of the older Jaguars appear during it as well.

Do you also have trouble with the game crashing quite regular?

Can't really enjoy the game on PC, because I'm constantly hoping that the game won't crash while I'm in a race

I've only played about 5 hours so far, but I love this game. It looks great, sounds great, weather is well done. I can actually control the car using a controller (looking at you Project Cars 2). THIS is what a racing game should be!

Your system seems fine the Ram is lower than mine [I have 16gb] same processor, 1050TI card 4gb and also on a 7200rpm HDD. Unless it is some other software running on your PC then I can't think of anything else to look for

I did get the 550 Porsche on level up, both the 356 and the 54 Jag are showing locked. SO far it looks like you only get cars that are not locked on level up.

I have had it crash while browsing wheels, hang sometimes when saving a tune or paint and it the graphics start loosing textures, especially the road surface it will crash soon after. If you are seeing missing textures while racing before the crash then the best thing to do is restart the game before it gets to the point of crashing, like right after the current race restart or if there is a lot of time left in the race you may want to just go ahead and restart and start over.

Some people are reporting that they have issues right away on a few tracks but I have not saw any of this on my system. I do see textures not being drawn after a while and once it starts it keeps getting worse until the game is restarted. I have not had it crash on me from this but i know it will if you keep playing at that point.

Because more often than not, way way more often, it's usually a bunch of jackasses jumping into venting at unnecessary things and all around just bashing. It may have not been the op doing it, but the people that follow. The forum is a mess over there, and has almost no structure at all. Threads I've seen get locked have very much warranted it in most cases.

Endless rants of *I'm a veteran user, here is what I don't like, look at me I'm Mr. Meeseeks and this is why I'm not getting Forza* tend to get rather annoying when they pop up often.

It's probably something to do with eSports, but one can dream of a DPi/GTD expansion pack with say, Mosport or Mid-Ohio thrown in for good measure...

This is how things have been going over there well before the launch of this game. Hell, I think before this gen even. When people act ridiculous, it tends to happen. I don't know what thread you're talking about so I'm only assuming what's going on, though.

I'm referring to this thread. It wasn't ridiculous until the moderator stopped by.

Just found another example. Not quite as bad since it's framed differently, but I suppose it's one way to silence an otherwise legitimate question.

I haven't seen any of those in Showcases and I have all of them available.

Just found another example. Not quite as bad since it's framed differently, but I suppose it's one way to silence an otherwise legitimate question.

Who knows, maybe the person in question created multiple threads over the course of his membership resulting in the same direction. Seems to be implied from the mods post. Again, who knows, but endless waves of personal gripe threads are not needed, not in that way, anyways. That forum is hard enough to navigate as it is, with its 30 sticky threads, and everyone feeling the need to make a new thread about the same exact subject 37 times.

The moderators have been merging threads all week and they're running out of patience. According to @ManteoMax he has personally merged about 150 threads since launch, the forum is moving so fast that people can't catch up or see that a thread is already active. That and that forum's search tools are awful.

Examples, Specialty dealer, showcase cars, prize cars, forzathon cars(when they become available).

Okay so after loading the game up,I can no longer select the Ram,and apparently my VIP has been deleted too as it asks me to buy the VIP pack for forza edition cars..

Edit: Even though the Ram is still in my garage.

hmm just picked the Lotus 49 for use in the driver cup open, not really a good choice for that assortment of tracks I think. A fun car to drive but pretty tricky in those hairpins with AI all around.

For your first example. Is it me or is the guy not aware that the Xbox One has been over worked for FM7. On FM6 the game was at the very limit of what the console could do graphically and for FM7, Turn 10 did something a few of the hard core racing fans wanted them to do... Scale down the graphics for the sake of the Framerate.

It maybe me?
