Does anyone know if you can access Forzavista anywhere else other then your garage and the pits?

I saw elsewhere online a Forzavista in the middle of a track possibly Suzuka
If a track layout doesn’t have a pitlane you can do Forzavista on the start/finish straight.

I have to ask to those who've already played the game a bit, how's the engine and exhaust note compared to FM6, for the existing models? Better/similar/worse?

And how's the sound for the newer cars as well? Does all of them sound distinctive or muted? One of my gripes with Horizon 3 was with the engine sounds, some were too similar. (First Forza I ever owned since it's on PC)
Some cars are much better, others sound nothing like their real life counterparts, especially anything with a hybrid system (Porsche 919 :( ).

I agree some cars sound really good, others not so accurate. For me I'd say improvements also made in tyre sound, the crash/collision sound some other nice effects.

If I can add some of my own thoughts.....

We cannot reduce the volume of those pesky confetti shooting cannons. While this isn't that annoying to hear it creates a rather aggressive, overbearing feeling with Buttkicker/transducers. Which is a pity as generally, this game is one of the best racing titles for "audio tactile" immersion/enjoyment.

My issues....
What is missing is the ability to increase the volume of the users own engine/car as an individual setting, also opponent cars for me seem a tad muted.
The game in general though, for me has audio up their with its visuals.

Anyone else having problems with their PC version of Forza? I'm getting the occasional hang, but by far the worst thing is Le Mans Bugatti.

It'll either hang just before the first corner or I'll lose textures and models after turn three and I can't see where the track is. Are other people suffering from this?

I've not been on that track yet but I have saw the missing textures on other tracks and that is an issue a lot of us are having on the PC version [don't know if the Xbox has this issue or not] In every case where I have saw it it happens after you have been racing for a while. Seems to happen sooner when using really fast cars on really fast tracks. Once you see textures start disappearing you need to restart the game to get it back to normal. You can play for a while once textures start dropping out so most times you can finish the race where it first happens provided there is not more than 10 minutes or so left in the race. If you do not restart it will continue to get worse until the game crashes.

I've tried all sorts of things to overcome this but restarting is the only thing that seems to work.

I will try that track later today and see what results I get,

The sequel to me smashing the Pontiac Aztec on purpose in FM6; smashing a Donk Chevrolet Monte Carlo in FM7 on purpose! I really loathe these modifications!

I never seem to have any problems with any other track, it's always Le Mans Bugatti, and it's always the second lap.

Am I the only one who get multiples Crash to Desktop while choosing my car in multiplayer? (PC)

Also, the same menu where you choose your car stutter ALOT (Multiplayer or Singleplayer) I know it's probably due to some kind of streaming/loading in the background but it's pretty bad.

Feels like both problems are related.

Using GeForce 980TI with latest driver & Windows 10

On the Forza official forums there are some tips for solving stuttering PC performance in general. Disabling game mode, streaming and antimalware scanning products are all listed. You could easily disable game mode and see if that helps.

Alright I'll disable it now and see how it is. Thanks

I just saw a thread on the official Forza forum questioning whether people would want to reconsider buying FM7 if they already own FM6. Some good points and harsh realities were brought up, but the thread then got closed by a moderator leaving the following comment:

Stop starting threads to grind your axe, you like FM6 more than FM7, feel free to play FM6. Problems sorted, thread closed.

So much attitude and don't they realize that locking threads like these will only trigger all the alarm clocks? This is the kind of behavior I'd expect from fraudulent businesses, not Turn 10.

I've seen threads like that get locked here. I don't have a problem with it in either case.

Why not? I'm not sure what you are trying to say with your comparison to GTP, which in my opinion is a totally different environment.

I haven’t really visited the forums much at all, since the early days of FM6, the only time I would go there, is to get my photos. They do have a lot of idiots to put up with on there, but the moderators were quick to lock down threads critizing turn 10, from what I remember. They were a little too full of themselves. Think Cartman/Dog the bounty hunter hall monitor syndrome. Wasn’t really my cup of tea:)

I'm having an issue updating my laptop to the windows 10 creators edition that is required for FM7. It downloads the update assistant, and it goes through the process of restarting my computer a few times, but when I go to download the game, it still shows that I'm using a version of Windows that isn't compatible with FM7.

Is there already a conversation about this? I can post any necessary screenshots later today.

Because more often than not, way way more often, it's usually a bunch of jackasses jumping into venting at unnecessary things and all around just bashing. It may have not been the op doing it, but the people that follow. The forum is a mess over there, and has almost no structure at all. Threads I've seen get locked have very much warranted it in most cases.

Endless rants of *I'm a veteran user, here is what I don't like, look at me I'm Mr. Meeseeks and this is why I'm not getting Forza* tend to get rather annoying when they pop up often.

I'll try that one here and see after I finish out the series I am in.

Just for curiosity have you tried restarting the game then going straight to that track in freeplay to see if you get the same result?

Edit: I just ran a 10 lap race there, noticed some slight stuttering a time or two but no real problems.

what type of system are you running on? Cpu? Ram? Gpu? vRam?

So today I've been playing for while, over five hours, progressed to the Domination bit of the Drivers Cup, on level 33 and collectors tier 6 and took my Jag Project 7 FE car on the TG test track a few times for 30 secs a pop so I could get the xp and level up...and overall I quite enjoyed it.

Oh, and it turned on for me no problem, first time.

Yep. If one thinks the staff over there is bad now, one may want to go back during the days of Che the community manager.

I remember that name. I think he is the one who banned me for insisting they need to put public user created lobbies back in the game right after FM3 was released. Almost every one I knew was gutted with those were removed and replaced with hoppers. I still despise the hoppers and wish they had never added them. The FM2 system is still the best of any online racing game I have played to date.

Now that I think about it though that is not why I was actually banned but probably played a part. Keep in mind I was civil at all times but also outspoken.

At one point they said that anyone who was driving that Mazda LMP car in S class after a given date would be banned from all online aspects of the game. I told them that wasn't fair to gamers as most of them do not read the forums and would have no idea this may happen not to mention with the tunes being in store fronts for sale anyone could get a tune and drive the car having no idea there was anything wrong with doing that.

I suggested that at the very least they should send a message through the Forza messaging system so that all players at least had a chance to see it before they starting banning people. An hour later I was banned. Took 3 years before I could access the forum again

I believe it. Che became notorious at NeoGaf for causing trouble, esp on any threads with criticism. Dude really did nothing to help the community.

Took the underdog of the class/division for a spin, and look what happend.
Tune is shared is anyone wanne give it a go ;)
I took the G35 to the Open championship in the Second Cup and managed to snag 3 number 1 spots. One was from Cota, one from Yas, and I forget the other. Mine only had about 5-600 drivers though

I've also uploaded the tune if you want to give it a shot. It's more towards the grip side of things, but I'm working on one with more power as well.

He works at Blizzard now, I think he might be on the Hearthstone team but I'm not sure.
