This game got the best of me. I decided to get the game again. I'm glad to see that not only was the game already installed in my PC, but that I also got the $1M and FE cars gifts. My progress wasn't affected after the refund either.

I have to say, I played for about 4 hours straight and got no crashes. Before, I had at least a crash every 15-20 minutes. There is still a bit of stutter in the menus, but the game seems stable enough. However, the annoying infinite save loop is still there. It happens at least 1 out of 2 times whenever painting, applying decals or tuning. It forces me to ALT+F4.

Other than that, I kinda found my way around the Homologate feature. Really, all you need is to match the tire compound and PI. Other mods are purely optional. It's a bit tricky, but I can race my cars very close to how I want them. With all the cars available, there will always be one or two that require almost no mods to meet the requirements.

I have to admit. I am enjoying the game quite a bit now. The A.I in Pro (Expert? The one after Highly Skilled?) seems to be the sweet spot for me. It definitely has improved after comparing with Forza 6, which I played yesterday. Less crashing and pushing off the track.

The game still needs work. But the patch, plus the VIP "redemption" have taken it in the right direction. I don't feel buyers remorse anymore.

I’m glad you got over your little spell you had, it’s still early on in the game, but this may be the best Forza Motorsport game I’ve played, for me anyways. I’m enjoying the heck out of it.

Does anyone know if you can access Forzavista anywhere else other then your garage and the pits?

I saw elsewhere online a Forzavista in the middle of a track possibly Suzuka

I changed to one of the shorter layouts and it out me in the middle of the track. I'm guessing some ribbons have different locations.

Some tracks and layouts don't have a proper pit lane. For example, pre-race on Suzuka West and Top Gear will place the car on the middle of the track. There are probably more examples of primitive facilities in the game.

I've saw a few people talking about the game crashing. Playing it on the PC I have had a total of two crashes since the start of early access and both times were when browsing wheels to put on a car. Just scrolling through the wheels and then desktop. I remember FM2 used to do that when scrolling through the garage if you had a lot of cars in it also.

I have had the game hang 3 times while saving and I had to close it and restart, not quite a crash but may as well have been. Two of those times was when selecting a paint for a new car and the other time was when I tried to overwrite an existing tune.

Other than that the only issues I am having is that after a while of racing the graphics get corrupted and I have to restart to get it to go back to normal. The other one is when loading a tune in freeplay or maybe any lobby it does not load properly, does load properly from the main menu screen though.

Still enjoying the game very much but would be better it those issues were fixed.

We need more IMSA cars in DLC. Those cars are such a blast to drive, that 1991 RX-7 is so much fun. That division (GT Racing Reborn), is my second favorite behind Early Prototype.

Speaking of Early Prototype, I’ve been waiting since Forza 4 for the C9 to return, and the wait was worth it. That car is a beast, and it’s so much fun. The acceleration on that guy is brutal.

It’s an issue they are working on, a lot of people are having trouble this evening. It will get fixed, it’s not anything wrong with your disc.

Same here, except XBone vanilla and Premium Edition. I tried reinstalling but that didn't work. I also tried turning off XBox Live and it got me to the title screen but I need to finish redownloading before I can go further.

I waited forever to get one on the discount. I had a chance early on, but I didn’t have enough credits and didn’t know yet you could “bank” it. It finally popped up yesterday again, after 400 something levels. It’s awesome though, get one first chance you can. It sounds great too.

I'll definitely get one, I'll be patient for now though. I was driving it in Project Cars 2 just before FM7 release so I have had my Sauber fix for now, should last a few more days

They usually get these things fixed pretty quick, I doubt it goes over a day.

Is anyone's Forza Motorsport 7 not working properly? No matter how many times I try to launch it, it starts loading, and then kicks me straight back to the Xbox dashboard.
Edit: Just saw the post above mine, so I guess I'm not alone.

I thought it was just me, usually jump between my Xbox in my office and my one at the racing rig, was thinking that issue with the account (bouncing between two Xbox's), everything seems to be up and running again, but lost the evening to play.

Yeah, I was able to launch the game just now without any issues. I still have my credits from using the Daytona Glitch.

They announced on Twitter a bit ago, that the issues should be resolved. Anyone still having trouble, you may want to do a full reboot of your console.

No luck for me either. I did a hard reset twice, as well as unplugging the power cable for 10 seconds.

Disabling Xbox Live seems to get it working fine, so I'm guessing it's some server on their end that's crapping itself.

I already uninstalled it, after 4 resets and even unplugging it.
It never occurred to me that T10 would do something THIS stupid.

Average rating on Xbone store is 2.5 stars and dropping rapidly. I helped make it lower.
I'll update to higher than 1 star if they find a way to make up for it.

Fun Fact: update shows 95.6gb on the store. ( i know it was 67, but I never actually checked before it started to see if it said 95.6 before)

Anyone else having problems with their PC version of Forza? I'm getting the occasional hang, but by far the worst thing is Le Mans Bugatti.

It'll either hang just before the first corner or I'll lose textures and models after turn three and I can't see where the track is. Are other people suffering from this?

I didn't think it was tricky at all for the few days it worked.
The demo, on the other hand, was the worst handling car I've had the displeasure of driving.

Weird. I didn't get the 75K mid-week bump for going from 9 to 10 last week and now i don't get the full 350,000 this week. Something isn't registering in the system.

I have to ask to those who've already played the game a bit, how's the engine and exhaust note compared to FM6, for the existing models? Better/similar/worse?

And how's the sound for the newer cars as well? Does all of them sound distinctive or muted? One of my gripes with Horizon 3 was with the engine sounds, some were too similar. (First Forza I ever owned since it's on PC)

I just played Suzuka online in the wet with the sun going down. I've never seen anything as gourgeous as that. My jaw literally dropped a few times going through that race. And im just playimg on the OG Xbox. This game is truly the successor for the legendary FM4.
