Didn't say that. You just have a tendency to blow things out of proportion with damnation. I agree with you on many aspects, but I also think a lot of the time it's extremely nitpicky.

I also feel that some people are too forgiving of the game. I have played video games for over 20 years, leaving me with my own picture of the ingredients making up up a good day one experience. FM6 didn't have a flawless launch back in 2015, but I felt considerably happier with it from the get go. FM7 feels like a game in need of at least two more months in development with all the small issues accumulating to leave an increasingly nagging impression. For example, last night I drove the Porsche 928 and Honda CRX to notice that the front bumpers on both cars nearly always scrape the ground under braking, which in turn affects handling negatively. Totally unrealistic and this was not an issue in the old game. I guess that means rushed revisions to the suspension physics. Come on, open your eyes.

Amy's got something to tell us again:

We don't know anything yet, for all it's worth it could have been a typo, or the article might have been written before Toyota threw their toys out of the pram and no one proof-read it since.

Coming from Amy, that's pretty easy to take haha, she's cute. Nothing hotter then a woman with a cracking sense of humour.

I think the Lexus is feasible seeing as though Toyota racecar are in the game already and the ban apparently is only for street cars. We've got the GT500 Nissan how about the LC500 racer? Would be nice to see the Supra GT500 return too

Can I honestly ask you something?

Why on earth did you buy the Ultimate edition? Because for the entire lead up to the game you did nothing but complain. In a way I think you just look for crap to complain about.

I want to test this for myself, since you didn't provide any evidence (as usual). So I have a couple of questions -

Where the cars completely stock, or where they homologated or custom built/tuned?

What controller (or wheel) and controller settings are you using?

What track/s did you use the cars on?

What platform are you playing from? I ask this one, as I have an xbox one right next to me with the game installed; as well as my PC with the game installed. So I can test on either or both.

Same as, well, a crap ton of people.

Good thing there's a tuning menu:idea:. I always remove the stock homologation set up for my own as they're trash. Can't say I've ran into the issues with my own cars yet.

That's the thing, you guess. There's no fact to your things you're bringing up. You don't like it, so it's evil. Even if you claim the suspension physics are rushed and bad, I'm still feeling the cars handling and driving much better than in 6, they have believable grip and the rear doesn't want to kick at most times. Tuning is much more effective for me also.

Come on, open your eyes.
What a dumb thing to say, to assume your issues are everyone's. You sounds like the one that needs to open your eyes to others.

The AI in this game is really screwed up. I race unbeatable AI and have often thought that there is something up with it but today just brought it all home. I was doing the racing truck championship and we all were using the same truck. The AI just seems to have much more horsepower than me. Always catching me on the straights but then being terrible through the corners. This was perfectly illustrated by the last two races. I had won the first 4 races but then came to Road Atlanta North which is basically 4 long straights with 4 right hand corners. I did amazingly well to scrape 9th and was over 2000 ft behind first. The last race was Le Mans Bugatti and I trounced the opposition finishing over 6000 ft ahead of 2nd place.

The AI is broken.

Well yesterday I got all the cars available to buy. Most were free thanks to the Daytona glitch and ram method. Now I’ll focus on my career. Benefit for the glitch is now when I do the races I’ll save money/time wanting to buy a certain car for the championship. Now I can complete it faster.
What is the Daytona glitch? I've been doing the Homestead glitch and it's pretty neat.

Also, Mixed Crate - Elite >> Lucky Cat Crate.

Legendaries drop so rarely and I get more Super Rare drops in Mixed Crate - Elite.

on the reward screen. are the cars always cars i dont have ?
i dont see anything about a car i have already. its bad to buy a car twice...

is there anything like owned mark if you see the cars after opened the crates ?

Good question. I regret the buying decision for now. Who didn't complain during the lead up though?

Both cars were purchased with stock parts fitted and then driven without any changes. Default controller on Xbox One and it happened repeatedly on a few different tracks. I've noticed the problems on a few cars actually, but I don't remember other than the two I just mentioned.

Good thing there's a tuning menu:idea:. I always remove the stock homologation set up for my own as they're trash. Can't say I've ran into the issues with my own cars yet.

I almost never tune because I prefer driving the cars completely stock.

Take it as speculation and I fail to find another explanation. Modern sports cars (not to be confused with super and hyper cars) don't scrape the ground unless there's something seriously wrong. It's not a matter of liking it or not because it's simply not right when modern stock suspensions boat around like that. That said, you're right that the driving experience has been improved in certain ways.

What a dumb thing to say, to assume your issues are everyone's. You sounds like the one that needs to open your eyes to others.

Issues are issues. It's not like my criticism is founded on invalid claims. Some of you may like to see video evidence for everything, but that's a bit extreme on a discussion board without any developers known to be around.

Any word on leagues, auction house and Forzathon?

Don't know why it's taking them so long, did FH3 have any problems at launch?

True, but you and a certain other member were easily the most vocal in your complaints and yet you both went out and preordered the most expensive version of the game. I just find your actions highly confusing.

I can't recall on whether the AH was open or not at launch, but they waited a couple weeks for Forzathon IIRC.

None of my cars have scraped so I can't say I can understand what you're issue is. I'll leave it up to @Ialyrn to test it.

Doesn't make it any less of a dumb thing to say. It's your issue, not mine, so don't apply it to me, especially if I haven't even experienced it. I'll acknowledge it as something I'm experiencing when I actually see it happening.

Video evidence is ridiculously easy to make.

I opened a crate the other day which contained a car I already had and it said Owned on the little car image when it showed it to me.

I have not yet saw a car I already owned on the level up selection, except for once when I saw what was there and went out and bought one of them hoping it would change but it did not.

I would also advise extreme caution using these glitches. It is very possible, even likely that T10 will take action against those who are abusing this and possibly invalidate your save game forcing you to start over so be aware of that then decide if it is worth the risk.

I'm to far in to quit now brah.

@Nielsen Seems you may be onto something. The CR-X does seem to have something odd going on, but the sparks I was seeing where not from the car itself, but coming from in front of the car. It looks as though the cars hitbox may be off somewhat from what I can see. I recorded a lap of me driving a rental CR-X, so everyone can see it is stock. I did a single lap around Sonoma, and then showed the replay. The replay is where you notice that it seems to be a hitbox issue with the car.

Saves time (and doubt) if you record and post up video proof of your claims when stating these things, easier for others to see as well. It shouldn't be up to anyone else to validate what your own claims are. Either way, this is something T10 do need to look at: hopefully @HeliosT10 can pass it on to the correct place?

Just started playing this today, do the traditional Forza car classes have any reason to exist anymore?

Whoa, is that video evidence, something that's too extreme to go about?!

Regardless of which, that is odd to say the least, since the Sparks originate ahead of the car. Seems less like a suspension issue now.

Tagged T10 and Dan Greenawalt on twitter, worth a try to garner some awareness.

Either way, it isnt hard to make these issues known to T10 in some form or fashion. They have a forum, the main staffers have twitter accounts. There are ways and options of contacting them. Just has to be done in a sensible way, and with some form of visual footage to show the issue taking place.

Complaints show that you care. It's not weird.

Thanks for making the video. Excuse my ignorance, but what's hitbox?

First I've seen sparks originating ahead of the car, but it doesn't really tell me anything relating to the root of the problem. Maybe I just need to learn more about the hitbox term.

All this said and done, I'm still not convinced about the suspension physics in this game.

Thank you for the many responses. I think the game sounds worth while for purchase... We'll take a trip to Game here shortly. @Nielsen , while I can appreciate the thoroughness of your impression, much of it is very subjective and opinionated. Many of the issues you mentioned aren't game breaking in my opinion. But you're entitled to your opinion, and have very high expectations. I can relate as I've been pretty hard on SMS for the Project Cars 2 release. Still, it sounds like my son will be very happy to have the new game. Thanks again to all for helping me decide, it's much appreciated.

Thanks for making the video.

Quite alright in this instance, but in future you really need to back up your own claims when you make them.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's hitbox?

A hitbox is a square/rectangle invisible box that surrounds an object in a 3d space, such as a car in a racing game. It is what a game dev will use to program in data that pertains to such things as collision data and impact zones (and more), for example, hitting another car or trackside object. Occasionally these can be oversized, where in they are bigger than the object that are used for. In this case, the CR-X. Other times they can be smaller than he target object they are intended for.

I'm not convinced it's broken, but on "unbeatable" they are definitely faster than you.
I started the spec Miata championship last night, and they were dogging me down straights.
Of course I did 10 laps with some good mods, so I caught the leader on lap 7 or 8 and won with room to breathe, reeling in 140k in about 15 minutes.
I ran 3 seconds faster for best lap than the ai, and it could have been 4 or 5 with a "good" lap, but trying to fly past with enough momentum to beat them to the next corner is hard at Road Atlanta, with big straights.

I think it's been this way since launch, I had previously noticed that on lower difficulties, I could always pass a bunch of cars before the first turn.

It might be intentional to "line" the drivatars up with normal people more, but I would like to think "unbeatable" is reserved for the best players in the game, so full cornering speed would be nice. (It's really hard to pass cars sometimes the way it is, even if you can run 3-4 seconds a lap faster)

No problem. At least you can now buy the game without being too negatively surprised. I hope your son will enjoy the game.

Ok, explanation appreciated.

Ok, explanation appreciated.

It used to be a real problem on the xbox 360 in regards to the hitbox's when someone didn't have a particular DLC. So you would be racing with someone who had a DLC car, you couldn't see said car through lack of owning the DLC; and it would be replaced with a blacked out basic VW. The hitbox in the game would be programmed in for the DLC car correctly, but more often than not, that hitbox was bigger than the blacked out VW. As such mayhem would ensue, as people believed they could get closer to the VW replacement car than they actually could; often taking a person out in the process and end up looking like a dirty racer.

I am very pleasantly surprised and impressed by the Formula E.
I had driven these before in PCars1 and maybe in FM6? Can't remember for sure if they were even in 6 nor if I drove one there. I do remember not liking them at all in Pcars1 and not liking electric cars in general in previous Forza titles but after driving a few races in this one I must say that it is a pretty sweet little car. not a lot of top speed in it [at least not with the basic setup] but still it gets around the track pretty quick and drives really really well.

While we don't know exactly, it gives us a better idea than going off what you said. Essentially it looks like the larger hit box is bottoming out making the Sparks look like they're not coming from the car. Now that I see this I think I may have experienced it to a degree in a classic muscle cars, I noticed I was rear ending cars, but felt like it really shouldn't have given the visuals.
