Speaking of the RSR, is it classed properly as a Forza GT? Might be time to retire my MP4-12C I use for the online lobbies if that's the case.

I found it under Forza GT, so it's in the proper class right now.

Glad to see they finally upped the maximum lap count.

Did they also fix the races ending the second the clock hits zero in timed races?

So past specialty dealer cars are not searchable in the Auction house. Can they even be sold at all in the AH?

You can find them by searching through the brands rather than for a specific model. Or search "All" and wait for one to appear in one of the soon-to-end auctions.

Thank you, going to try searching for a few cars I missed in past events, hoping for some luck.

Aren’t vip members supposed to receive a free car each month besides the dlc packs like in the previous Forza games? Or is that feature not in 7?

Was about to go do a race in the Bugatti T35 and when it asked me to homologate it, there was a race anyway option...was that always there or is it an undocumented change?

Edit: it also seems that it's impossible to homologate the T35 for its division anyway, brilliant move T10.

There's still one thing that is frustrating me about the car list in FM7; Toyota's lack of race cars. Turn 10 said they couldn't add Toyota's production cars, I understand that, but why the heck are the Touring Cars, TS020, and TS040 absent? If they had limiting license money, then why choose the Toyota trucks to license in FM7 over cars more suited for the tracks? It doesn't make sense. I know it's not the fact they couldn't add race cars though, because NASCAR Camrys and the Eagle Mk.3 Race Car are in this game.

Not sure about the Trophy Truck but the TSO40 is a Toyota built and run race car. The Nascars probably come through a Nascar license. The prototype through AAR, the Arctic Trucks are through another license.

I just turn the division mode off to be honest. For the older GP cars, you probably can just set the year restrictions and they would be the only cars to appear.

That's my point, why isn't it in the game since it's a RACE car and NOT a production car?

.....Because Toyota built and raced it, or TRD ran. It isn't a car that another entity ran. Nascar, AAR and Arctic Trucks are all seperate entities that just happen to use Toyota vehicles. I guess somewhere along the line Toyota loses the licensing rights to those but doesn't lose the others.

There's most likely a legal loophole that allows them to license the cars as JGR or AAR or Arctic Trucks or Ironman Stewart assets, which obviously will not work with anything raced under a factory Toyota banner (TRD/TTE/TMG/Gazoo Racing and etc.) which undoubtedly will limit the amount of cars we could potentially see being added, if any at all.

The Avensises were not a factory effort however, so I'm thinking it might have been a problem between T10 and Speedworks.

Oh, so Turn 10 really has no licensing rights from Toyota at all? Not even their race cars?

Well then, this really sucks. I just assumed there was some glimmer of hope for even a Toyota Supra GT LM sneaking into FM7's dlc, but that's not happening. Whoever at Toyota is responsible for this, I 🤬 hate you.

But I'm guessing Toyota still has to sign off on those vehicles, if the JGTC Lamborghini in GT3 fiasco is any indication...

Is there a fiasco there? Or was it just not included in the US version?
I remember reading that it was put into GT3 without Lamborghini's permission, which didn't sit well with Lamborghini. Granted polyphony digital put it in for the reason that it was a JGTC car, but still Lamborghini wasn't pleased. So that's the reason why you need an action replay to obtain it on the US version, and as for the European version, well...
Enjoy your placeholder Daihatsu Mira.

Nice to hear that people have their hands on the RSR.

Worked all day. Got home have played the game for six hours straight. Leveled up many a time but alas no RSR. So tired right now. Not amused.

I haven't seen it yet either. I wonder if it depends on driver and collector level. I'm 169 and 24.

Maybe I got mine pretty soon because I already own all the unlocked cars(T42) and I'm given only duplicates when leveling up. Just be patient.

I can be patient, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed the opportunity for it. I even went as far as checking the rentals in Free Play, just to make sure it wasn't somehow missing. LOL.

One thing to note is that the cars offered on Driver Level Rewards are based on a few factors:
  • Your current Collector Tier
  • What and how many cars you currently own.

The RSR is a "Red Tier" (I forget the number) car, so it'll only show up when you're at the stage where other cars of that Tier are being awarded to you. If you already own many of the cars at this Tier, then the chances of the RSR showing up are increased.

Additionally, if you hold on to your Driver Level Rewards and don't redeem them, the cars for each Reward are "reserved" and won't be offered in future Reward slots until you have decided if you're going to take them when you eventually go to Redeem Rewards. Eventually, if you keep earning Driver Level rewards but don't redeem them, the RSR will show up.

That actually makes sense. Also.... Trust me, I did:sly::sly::sly:

That makes sense actually. I have 11 or 12 cars I'm holding onto right now, most of them over 400k. Hopefully the Porsche will show up soon.
