GP of Brazil 2007

Ferrari are ****ing scum. So what they won the Drivers championship farly, but the constructors championship belongs to McLaren. Ferrari probably bribed the FIA to take the all the points of McLaren so Ferrari won the constructers trophy. And this is probably all because the FIA would'nt be able to bear it if their beloveded Ferrari did'nt win a trophy!

Ferrari are scum!
FIA are scum!
(...)

But yeah, great race! 👍
Look at yourself, shut the 🤬 up and admit that the best driver won by a car that was designed by his own team.

Go go, go Kimi go, go!

looks like massa held up hamilton for alonso to get past :odd:

Err... WHAT?

Massa held up Hamilton so the latter won't block Raikkonen, enabling the Ferraris to lead a one-two out of the first corner. Simple as that - very logical, no Alonso-Massa connections.

Great move by Alonso. Showed that kid up, and got him rattled. I figured something like this was going to happen.

That move was very neat. Shows just how much skill the guy has, when he's not busy being a sod.

2007 Formula One Champion

110 Kimi Raikkonen

And very well done, indeed. Superior car, superior driving - and the best result one can get, winning a championship, on the last race, by 1 point from two drivers who started the race with a lead

And here's to another one

(And, being a Finn, he'll probably need a few more than just one beer ;))

God damn... is my tv broken? all I hear coming out of Kimi is...

MmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmmMmmm

Well, I hope the stupid Hamilton haters shut up now. I'm dissapointed that the championship didn't go his way, but I'm glad it went to Kimi then that spoiled brat alonso. I would be furious if that happened.

And while I'm at it, What a great weekend for the Fins as not only did Kimi just take the F1 title, but a former F1 driver Mika Salo took the ALMS GT2 championship yesterday.

Agreed... come on Kimi!!!!!!!! Scream with joy!!!!!!!!! Geeeez...

Nothing... :indiff:

Even when he got out of his car he showed little emotion and barely hugged anyone... (at least he appeared to acknowledge the support he got from Masa today) no jumping for joy... nothing... blah.

Don't get me wrong... Kimi drove brilliantly, and truly deserved this championship, winning it in amazing style starting well behind both McLaren drivers in points at the start of the race. I just wish he would express the same kind of unbridled enthusiasm one sees in most F1 champions as well as world champions from other sports. Oh well. :indiff:

Frankly, as much as I really admire McLaren as a team, and have been extremely impressed with Hamilton’s performances, unfortunately though, with all the spying scandals and internal team drama at McLaren, I would have had a bad taste in my mouth had they won the driver's championship.

Karma can be a [female dog] sometimes, and I think this time it bit McLaren in the rear, and as such Ferrari and Kimi are much deserving of their championships!

Congrats to KIMI, I still think Alonso should have won it, but hey at least Hamilton didn't.
Why? Because Hamilton out performed Alonso throughout most of the season, and that the only reason Alonso had a chance was that he was able to capitalize on Hamilton's mistake and misfortunes?

If anything, at least Hamilton beat Alonso in the final championship standings. 👍

It's a shame to see the title decided by a reliability issue but hey, Kimi has the most wins this season and has overcome his fair share of troubles to take the title. Good job by Kimi, gonna be harder defending it next season though! ;)

Oh and big thanks to Rosberg for almost killing Heidfeld, tool.

Congratulations Kimi, a long deserved and overdue championship. Well done lad 👍

I'm happy. Hamilton finished his debut season a point away from winning. Never mind that he isn't champion, there's always next year :)

Alonso looked pretty happy on the podium too. I think this result means that no-one is unhappy; the best result that could be.

And to those who hate Raikkonen for winning:

Your favourite driver didn't win. Get over it.

?

You could say the same for Hamilton on Barichello.

Roo
?

You could say the same for Hamilton on Barichello.

Yeah it's arrogant young drivers who take other people for granted, Hamilton was lucky Barrichello wasn't Sutil or Nakajima..

Well done to Kimi, first title long overdue.

Well done to Rosberg. My driver of the day, did brilliant.

I think Hamilton should have won the championship, he lacked calm at the beginning did not manage to fight the pressure :/
He should have won due to 2 factors:
1 He deserved it through the whole season
2 We all would become a witnesses of a history - rookie gets championship (I do not know when such a thing happened earlier...)

Congrats to Kimmi thought
Congrats to my compatriot Kubica :) great job overtaking Allonso and first of all overtaking 2drivers at once :) :) unfortunately tires did not manage to last to the end and Rosberg did his job (Kubica was 3,5s slower on every lap :/)

GREAT RACE

back to GT5Pdemo ;)

Could not agree more :-)

Though, to be honest, I care very little for whoevers in the seat as long as Ferrari wins ;-)

Well done to Kimi, first title long overdue.

Well done to Rosberg. My driver of the day, did brilliant.

Did you miss Kubica ?... Man he was on a roll !...

But agreed, Rosberg did do quite well this afternoon :-)

We got our third champion. Before Kimi it was Keke Rosberg and Mika Häkkinen. Good job for a country with population of 5M.(sorry about nationalism :) )

a car that was designed by his own team.

Jeez, it was investigated and no Ferrari interlectual property was found in the McLaren, which is in turn an evolution of last years car. Tired of people saying its really a McRarri.

Bad luck on Mark Webber, those RBR's are still stupidly fragile.

I loved Louise Goodman's quote to Jenson.

blah blah bad luck out of the race, but the good news is you won't have to drive that car again.
👍

Ssshhhhh... You're waking the neighbours...

Kimi did it! :) yeah! I really dont know what the write or say..
The race was just so exciting for the final seconds at least.
Massa drives best of all! he did what he should to do. If kimi wouldnt get the cp.. then massa would be number 1 in brazil.
Bad for the hamilton.. BUT have to say, pretty well driving 18-->7 position.
And alonso seems to be happy! :) maybe becouse hamilton wouldnt win the cp?

This year is brilliant for finns.
formula 1 championchip by kimi
rally championchip by markus grönholm (its not sure yet ;) )
enduro championchips. (2-3 wins for finns :) )
Gp2 cp by mika salo
And pretty well driving in DTM by mika häkkinen :)

Not so great, actually, considering just 14 finished, and his car was superior to all but the Ferraris and BMWs, and maybe Rosberg.

He was 18th, just behind a pack of midfielders. When he got to around 12th, those in front retired in packs. Button, Vettel, Barrichello...

I honestly kept believing in Kimi throughout, Monza and Fuji were really tough but after China I was pretty confident that Kimi would win. The reason I believed was the number 7, I once came back to win the championship in a computer game called "Generally" in the last race of the season against my friend from 7 points behind(I won and he was 5th, old F1 point system for the win :)).

But enough about that, I was hoping for more celebrations from Kimi but I guess that's just the way he is. The Iceman.

Also congratulations to Hamilton, drove a good season but in the last 2 races he really showed that he was in fact a rookie.

And what's this I hear about Jean Todt leaving Ferrari?

Bee
Oh and big thanks to Rosberg for almost killing Heidfeld, tool.

I was terrified by that move, and the battle that he had with Kubica after that. If Nico had taken them out then Hamilton would've won.

Why? Because somehow everyoneone (including the so "FAIR, imparcial" media) suddenly forgot that till today Alonso was the reigning champion and 2time WORLD CHAMPION (consecutive) that he beat KIMI & SCHUMACHER. And he still finished 3rd with his own team conspiring against him

And people forgot how GREAT KIMI is (that's even more unfair), beacuse everyone got on the HAMILTON hype machine bandwagon, for me Hamilton is just a product of a SUPER great team & car, give the same car to VETTEL or HEIDFELD and you will have the same results.

BTW. where are darkfinal and Spike. They would blame the drivers then:lol:;)

But on a serious note, it wasn't a necessary mistake of Lewis. It shouldnt have happend but oh well, he drove an awsome season:tup:

Yet HAMILTON beat a 2 time WORLD CHAMPION in the same SUPER great car. And let's not forget that the 2 time WORLD CHAMPION beat KIMI and SCHUMACHER.
