GP of Brazil 2007

Too bad I didn't see the race, but that Kimi actually did it, is incredible...

Congrats to Kimi, let's hope we might see BMW mixing in the battle for next season, with no scandals or whatever like we've had this season...

We got our third champion. Before Kimi it was Keke Rosberg and Mika Häkkinen. Good job for a country with population of 5M.(sorry about nationalism :) )

That is completely justified! I'm so proud...
Kimi did a great job.
Shall we go  now

What an amazing race! It was a nail biter all the way through. I was on the edge of my seat for the most of it. I am glad to see Kimi win. He deserved it. I was originally hoping Alonso would take it but if not Alonso, I'm glad Kimi took the title. This is the best F1 race I have ever watched. I felt sorry for Massa the most, though. All he wanted was to win his home race.

Justice like this doesn't happen often in this world

Cheating McLaren should have been stripped of driver points as well

I'm happy to see Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari win the Driver and Constructor Championship

I'm happy for Kimi. He's had such bad luck trying to win championships. He certainly deserves this one. I wonder when the afterparty is.... :mischievous:

...and will he get roaring drunk or roaring drunk. I hope he won't have AA as his personal sponsor next year.

Yeah what a great idea. Let's gift Ferrari every championship. 🤬

Why? Because somehow everyoneone (including the so "FAIR, imparcial" media) suddenly forgot that till today Alonso was the reigning champion and 2time WORLD CHAMPION (consecutive) that he beat KIMI & SCHUMACHER. And he still finished 3rd with his own team conspiring against him

And people forgot how GREAT KIMI is (that's even more unfair), beacuse everyone got on the HAMILTON hype machine bandwagon, for me Hamilton is just a product of a SUPER great team & car, give the same car to VETTEL or HEIDFELD and you will have the same results.

I completely agree with you, though Kimi was robbed of it in 2005 with the engine failure while in the lead of British GP & San Marino GP as well as tyre failure in last lap of Nurburgring.

Bloody amazing race, not one second of it was boring!

The start was manic and you could see Alonso going for it because he knew it would be his only chance to get ahead of Lewis.

Great fighting for 4-5 place with Rosberg and Kubica...

Just wheel to wheel racing from start to finish..

But who would have predicted the outcome! Kimi is totally deserving of it and he has waited so long!

I backed Alonso the whole way and I bet Ron was gutted as he would have never thought in a million years that neither of them would win the title.

Alot of bookmakers are going to be happy tonight!

I loved the line from Martin Brundle saying "what is it with british sportsman making the public and fans suffer like this, why does the winning never come easy!"

Oh well great season and can only get more crazy next year!

Don't want to ruin anything, but i just heard that the BMW's may have been using illegal fuel.
If thats the case, they will be Q'd. Making Hamilton Champion.

It was Just on BBC news.....

lmao just looking at things for 08 season:

# Long life gearboxes
# Long life engines

Red Bull are so screwed. lol

It would be so bad if they were to take it away from Kimi.
But if they broke the rules it can't be helped.

I sure Kimi would have something to say about it! I would love to see them try and take it away from him!

BMW Sauber and Williams are under investigation of the Brazilian Grand Prix race stewards, autosport.com has learned.

Representatives of both teams were summoned to the stewards' office after their cars failed post-race inspection at Brazil.

The problem is believed to be in the tempature of the fuel samples taken from the cars of Williams's Nico Rosberg and BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld.

The trio finished the race in fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

..

Oddly enough, there is nothing about the fuel thing on BBC now.

If that goes through, while it fits the acting of the stewards this year perfectly, there will be one hell of an uprising in the Ferrari camp. McLaren gets away with practically everything (don't get me started on the "but they got a fine" thing, they should have been banned altogether as that's what the rules say) but giving fuel samples of wrong temperature would cause disqualification and surprise surprise, make Hamilton the World Champion? The men have driven and Räikkönen was the best one out of them, would have been with an even bigger margin had he had the chance to use "legal" tyres in Japan.

I wish FIA could face the fact that Hamilton wasn't just good enough, but it still seems they have to get the winner they want.

Sneaky little "Sod it, it's the last race of the season" modification by Williams?
they put "cool" fuel into the cars which would reduce its volume this would mean more fuel to be added in a pitstop enabling theoretically more laps and also cool fuel would reduce intake temeratures and increase power.

It did cross my mind as to why the Williams and BMW's were looking so racey... one even overtook Alonso at one point! If its true they obviously thought Sod It! :dunce:

Hmmmm, this in not a good way to end the season... :grumpy:

You know I hope they arnt doing this as a kind of bias because they want an englishman to win and the whole sport (rather the FIA) is run by the english!

The only reason Kubica overtook Alonso was because he was on much lower fuel.

BTW, both BMWs and Williams were still slower than Alonso in the overall scheme by like quite a bit at the end of the race.

If they take away the title from Kimi, I will seriously stop watching F1 altogether.
