Gosh yeah.........I made the same mistake too, the coloured buildings are just behind the finish line......you actually start next to them so you don't see them till you come and complete your lap......PD should have put the start line futher back!!!

Yay pictures to prove it! I just editted my post again with some more corrections, it is 1am here and I just killed a perfectly good page with images when it was a major lack of judgement.

A while back I had a look at this thread and I found another Capri map and cannot get PD's track map to fit onto it. Has PD used some artistic freedom here after all?

Ah yeah I see those buildings. It still looks bland but I'm sure that's because of the video itself. It'll probably look more colorful on your tv.

Yeah, that was what I was going to say.....I'm sure the TV will produce more vibrant colours...like what Capri looked like on the prologue end video.

Also......I cant appologise more for not seeing that the coloured buildings were there despite watching the vids and posting pics which actaully showed them!!!! (on the previous page).....I guess I am not really awake.......but all colours do look washed out on the vids......the ring's tree's should be greener!

Collision effects are cool Also good how you get 'buffeting' as you go over the grass.

Pity theres still no reverse lights.

Yeah its a shame......no reverse lights , it would go well with the ones series brake lights .....but I do like the collision effect, have you noticed that the ten second penalty has dissapeared.....HURRAY! I would rather have the cool siliding and bluring effect which is shown now rather than a silly penalty!

Don´t worry about washed out colors, it´s normal that directly Tv recorded vids look like that in PC, the gamma and color base are different in Tv than monitors if not are corrected to monitor viewing look greyish, poor contrast and colors a bit off.

In the Tv all it´s more crisp and nice like the official vids or images, Amar can confirm it.

I´ve seen the capri in car video and the nurburgring 120d video already. They´re both looking amazing. I´m downloading the crash one right now, and I hope NY is up soon.

Got the crash one... I really like the effect... but I notice that it only happens in BumperCam mode... I think they need to implement a similar system in 3rd person mode... although most of the serious racing will be done in BumperCam!!

But the effect simulates your head moving and vision blurring, so it would be weird if it was there in 3rd person. I don't think they included the effect to punish you for wallriding.. just as a neat effect. The new punishment for wallriding, instead of the 10sec penalty, is now wheel lock etc. So you'll lose control.

Actually, I think it would look a bit strange. Think about it...you're watching the car from above and behind, why would you be affected by the jerking and shaking of a crash?

You can shake your head at home when using 3rd person view if you feel like it.

No, The vid seems to be working fine for me.....are you sure the download completed fully, or did it cut out......maybe you need to adjust some Divx settings or something??.....it maybe even be the player that your playing it in.....WMP 9 works.

Got sound now... I didn't think Mov's worked in WMP... this is the first one that has... Quicktime didn't give me sound!!! Weird!!

I really like the vid and the new effects... just hope I can try them out soon!!!

Very nice. I love the fact they have rendered in the grafitti on the track surface. That is such a huge part of the 'ring look and experience. The BMW sounds pretty nice too. A big step of Prolouge. I also like the subtle UI changes, though I find the brake/accelerator lights distracting.

As for NY video, We have a little coding problem, because compo video is huge in editing (5 GB) and it is in non-standard resolution of 1440x400. Calisto has to solve the resolution problems, and find a way to export it in way the quality would not be compromised.

As today is Sunday, I'm afraid we can't promise you nothing untill few days to come. We have to take some rest, after all it is summer time in Croatia (sun, tanned girls, tits & ass, cockltail drinking, slow car riding, music and so on, you got the picture).

And not to forget, I would like to thank one more to Spacemaniac for his PR job, but Space, my friend, you're not going to be paid for that but do so if it makes you happy.

Just out of interest.....which is the closest comparable car to the 1 series in Prologue, I think Amar said something about a civic to compare NY. But what car can I drive in Prologue that is like the 1 series, I wana try out its physics on the other tracks! any thoughts??
