The New York comparasion video (exclusively for GTPlanet.net) has just being uploaded to the server, so expect it to be posted for seeing in metter of hours.
It is an mpg4 codec, resolution 720x200, no audio because it was total audio-mayhem of two different machines reving in different speeds.
Sorry for waiting, I hope you/ll find it intresting. Unfortunatelly, I must say that because of the codec process, majority of resolution details has been lost (originally, it was an 5GB file in resolution of 1440x400).

The vid is great but all I see too is that the car physics have been improved, the pitch and roll is amazing.....the track graphically and visually has not been improved...you can see that the people are still flat (not the ones in the stands...the marshals and the track officals) I really do hope that that is not the last build of NY.....I would want updated billboards and hopefully 3D spectators.....

As I have said, coding has take almost all the important visible details away. It is noticable that right pic has some less flickering, but on the real TV screen you would see a difference in resolution. Unfortunatelly - as I stated before - main aspect of this comparation has been lost due to codecing, so I'm pretty aware that you're little bit dissapointed with this one.
It is pretty unnecessary to try to explain how BMW demo has a more stabile picture and vertical lines, as you'll be able to see it in two weeks from now foor yourself (at least in Europe, as I know).
If someoone has a death-wish to download an 5GB video in full res to see the resolution difference, let me know

Thanks for the vid Amar.....I will hopefully see what you mean in 2 weeks when it will hopefully comes out in the UK......I really do hope that NY will look better in the end......(3D people!!!)
As for the 5GB.......I think I will pass
.......DSL is not gonna handle that...as well as the fact that I have about 2GB left of my hard drive!

Hmm... the track is exactly the same as Prologue's. The pop-up and shimmering is all in the right places and still no fully working mirror. The only thing different is the car movement and HUD.
