Any news/leaks about what the content of the DLC will be??

Sadly no, no new information new released by Sony, PD or Kaz on twitter yet.

All we know is, that there will be 3 DLC packs available to download, a Racing Car Pack, a Track Pack and a Racing Gear Pack (such as helmets and racing suits). :)

So do we know the time on Tuesday thats its going to be released? And im confused, do I (on Tuesday) just go to the PSMarket?

Well, I remember we having a poll and I know a bunch of us didn't want the rewind feature. It was pretty anonymous. Let's just leave it at that.

I would imagine those people are against B spec fast forwarding too. Something that is also unrealistic.

I imagine it's the anti enduro save brigade.

I assume it'll be an update, just like the version updates we get.

I don't know if it has been brought up yet but, I wonder if we will get the GT Drivers Club thing we were supposed to get? Kaz didn't mention it in Spec II.

I forgot all about this. This is yet another clue that there may be more in Spec II than what was already told to us. That and the situation with the RM cars in the Spec II intro.

I think anything is possible in this update.

PD have a tendency to not give out all of the info that their patches include. Some as they want it to be a surprise, others probably because they didn't want to draw attention to a certain flaw in the game.

That said, I think a drivers club might be a little bit to much of a stretch to being left out of an announcement regarding details. Its obvious that Sony wanted to upset the apple cart a bit releasing the patch on that day. A drivers club would have been an even bigger shoe to throw at their opponent (hence why I think extra tracks wont be included in spec II as that would equal a primed grenade to throw)

Never thought of this before tbh, but I can see the potential learning a track (corner by corner) for hotlapping using rewind. You could much faster test the best way to take a corner (if it can be used while using a ghost). Still, I'd rather not see it in GT.

I am one of those people Spagetti :D

Fast Forwarding a B-Spec was abomination. Real-time B-Spec is the only real way to go. 👍

I want mid race saves but not am for B spec speed up. At the same time, if they implemented speed up I wouldn't care, I just wouldn't use it.

I may have missed part of discussion, if rewind is implemented I hope it can't be used in time trials or it red flags your lap when used.

@ Amar well done mate. 8^)

Rewind could be implemented and chosen not to be used.

My 7tr old son with a lead foot can get some entertainment out of it then.

I know to some it's more than entertainment but most people( who don't frequent this site) are your average joes.

Don't see any reason it should effect either side.

Option use it or not.

The anti brigade would keep this game in the 1990's if they had there way.

btw...

Why are you guys talking about Fast forward and Rewind during actual gameplay? from Kaz's tweets he is only talking about being able to fast forward and rewind while watching replays... whats so bad about that?

Personally I think it's better to run the whole lap without any breaks. When you rewind you lose "the flow".

Hopefully the "improved physics and AI" make the online and offline physics equal, that would be awesome!

I know, but I mean basically the stage before that, when you're still trying to find what way to take the corners. After you've figured it out, then just run the whole laps 👍

Actually I've learned the Ring the best in sections by playing the special events. It would be nice if we could play every track in sections if we want to.

Like a time trial sprint session? I do believe I'd spend hours doing that. :)

My concern is for TT competitions like WRS, people shouldn't be able to rewind time trials to improve lap times. I would be D1 if I could do that, that's why I think it should invalidate the lap. For racing, sure if you want to use it, it doesn't affect me.

Edit: And I'm not saying I don't see any value in rewind, I just want it to be thought out correctly before implementing it.

I'm hopeful this won't be the case. When Prologue was updated to Spec II, we got a new track which integrated in the single player offline game beautifully. I'm crossing my fingers that the A-Spec races are updated in the same way, and we get a bunch more. If not in Spec II, then in Spec III.

👍 Agreed and it did work very well! This example at least entertains the idea that it is a possibility. Perhaps the only object that prevented them adding more was the fact it was simply a prologue. I do feel as though A-Spec is a bit of an empty shell with space for extra goodies.

This maybe me, but does nobody else see it as slightly suspicious that there are exactly 15 items on Kaz's list? :indiff: All speculation on my part, guess we will no doubt find out soon!

How is that suspicious? There absolutely is nothing behind that. He just highlighted the important features.
