Can't wait for everyone to get hyped (including me) just to recieve a regular update without anything special besides those aforementioned PS5 Pro-focused enhancements, which most of the players won't be experiencing.
Time to unpack that:
There it is, it sounds like 5 months to wait for 3 cars, 5 events, a free demo and features for an expensive console that just a few people will be able to afford...

The PS5 Pro launch is November 7th.
Gotta satisfy the folks who do nothing but GR.3 races and make every other class empty 90% of the time. Typical racing game with GT3 cars experience.
Yes, content updates. I didn’t say otherwise. Anyway, who’s we? Many people are expecting content updates, because there have been so many since launch.
Expecting a content update doesn’t rule out feeling fine if none is coming. It’s not like PD are breaking any promises when they don’t deliver a content update, although “we” have had reason to expect one every 4-8 weeks since mid 2022.

It’s always said time and time again in these threads not to get hopes up for a possible next update(whatever is in a possible update) and not to expect anything. I absolutely don’t know what you’re talking about. GT7 has had so many content updates since the game was released two and a half years ago. Oftentimes on a monthly basis or every two months occasionally. Only now it seems to be a longer wait than usual, but there have been very valid reasons to expect a content update this month.I said for those of us sticking around. You said “we”. I mean, you know this: Someone will enter that chat and ask, “So when’s the next update?” Someone will say we don’t know. Someone will say GT7 is dead. Someone will say I’ve learned not to expect anything. Someone will say go play iRacing. Someone will say GT8 is coming next week. It’s a daily discussion.
The tech team working on PS5 Pro will have no involvement in 3D modelling, content creation or any aspect of DLC. In fact the last time we had a major technical update (PSVR2), it arrived with one of the biggest content updates to date. If you are interested in PS5 Pro or not, GT7 being heavily featured will boost sales and player numbers. It will also put PD in a good position for GT8 by updating their tools/engine to the cutting edge.
A demo at this stage of GT7's lifecycle suggest PD are far from done with the title. All indications are much more content will be coming down the line. If not, well, I guess GT8 is closer than many expect. People are expressing their frustrations because they have no idea what PD have planned. Personally, I'd be quite happy if PD moved to more substantial quarterly updates.
