Knelly
No info can be gathered from running softs on a road course, as they won't be used in season races.

My opinion.

Fair point, mediums and hards it is.

Fox, the test is 16:00 - 19:00 Eastern, I thought i'd start slightly earlier than usual for more testing time. It doesn't matter if you're an hour late 👍

Matty had someone stay in his house and use all the internet, unfair really but not much can be done.:(

Tom I'll deffo race for your team at Indy, just not as good on an oval as Matty in qualifying, however, he get's unlucky in races while I get lucky.:sly:

Not so quick now. (Chances are you'll still get to race, but I should be there anyway.)

Awesome mate, means we can rack up some team points :D

I may be availible, my grandad is kindly letting me use his internet, he has around 3gb left. I'll only be using it for this TOCA, and V8's.

If I still have some left by then, which I should as a normal race is around 200mb, and I'll have about ~10 races and some average internet usage which should equate to 2500mb.

With some luck I'll be there. Also going to buy the Speed Test DLC tonight. 👍

Other than you'll be docked 100 points when the season starts :sly:

Edit: that was to FF.

I'm gonna be docker points for what being late? I had a previous arrangement [lanned as i thought it started at 5pm/10pm.. Arghhhh

Awesome Matty, looks like us boys in red should be fine for Indy then 👍

And now I have more problems, it won't work. Then I decided to ring my internet provider to see if I could get say an extra 10gb for a reasonable price, they said it's not possible and that after your allowence is used up it will cost 5.08c per mb. So each gb costs €50, meaning that if I had to pay that for my normal 25gb allowence which costs me €20 a month, I would have to pay €1,280. I don't see why they can't just reason with me? I'd happily pay €50 extra just for 10gb...

I won't make any races I'm signed up for until 28th of April. Sorry again Tom, I've given up, don't expect me to find a solution this time.

Sorry I missed the practice, I had a spot race which I was already signed up for a week before I joined this, I shouldn't be missing anymore, anyway I thought the room might be still up by the end of the race but I guess not.

No worries man 👍

Thanks for coming along tonight lads, I've got everyone's fastest times, posting ASAP.

Well the only good run I had was the last session before everyone left. You can tell who spent time setting their car up. :embarrassed:

Spa Testing Results

1st - Pagey - 1:52.080
2nd - Joe - 1:52.332
3rd - Artman - 1:53.372
4th - Tom - 1:53.920
5th - Neljack - 1:53.996
6th - Cowboys - 1:54.517
7th - Knelly - 1:54.719
8th - Smuffy - 1:55.766
9th - Indy - 1:57.268

Considering the size of the track I'm not overly disappointed with that.

Good test session lads. 👍

Good stuff tonight gents, very happy with the times I set. Especially considering I hadn't found a tune for Spa, i was using my setup for Nurburgring 24hr which surprisingly worked really well :D
I have a question about cautions/damage, if there is a crash at the front and they have to pit to repair the damage are they allowed to rejoin in the place from which they crashed? Because i presume if they arent then they will find themselves at the very back of the grid, as the safety car will have bunched everyone up.

You restart where you come out. If you stay out of the pits under caution chances are you'll be up front for the restart, if not you'll be further back 👍

So if you get taken out from the lead, your pretty much doomed to be at the back of the grid through no fault of your own?

Yes, but obviously if you get 'taken out' from the lead there will be repercussions for the offending driver, penalties to be exact. And anyway, it's very easy to get a jump on the restarts and move through the field quickly.

Can i join this Saeson??
I see there is a place in ArtMannn team.
Can i drive in his team??

Like I said in the room earlier we've been over this about 3 times. We don't 'kick fast people', we just don't want people in our series who are so scared of losing that they quit, whilst running 2nd, on the last lap of a 30 lap race and then go on to blame it all on the safety car/caution, a procedure clearly explained in the thread and used throughout the season with no issues prior to your 'claims'.

So in short, no.

Sounds very familiar to me well said Tom!👍👍

Well I dont feel to bad. I think I'm on par with every for roadcourses. I did a test earlier last night and was running 1:53.6xx at Spa. This should turn out better than my NNS standings. Just have to remember to change setups before tracks.. At first I coundnt figure out why I was blowing the tires off in testing..

Yeah that's a good time man, you'll be just fine.

Should be a fun weekend; some IndyCar fun at Monza followed by 600 miles of arrow straight road to bump draft in the Sprint Cup.
