So it sounds like we will have a exciting race. With Carbonoz running 50 flats, The Ford guys the low 50's, and a few Toyota below the 50 mark.

Very apprenhensive of the first corner though. 15 cars hurdling down there and there are quite a few different braking points and its a very tight corner. :nervous: It is a rolling start so I hope everyone gives each other room. 👍

EDIT: Haha, spooky. I posted just at the same time you posted Joe :)

Yeah lets hope.. Its actually a short track but will be a rather eventful race. I will be there and looking to set a pole lap..

Sorry folks but I won't running tonight due to a call-up for a golf tournament at my local club. I was fourth reserve and the likelihood of being called-up is extremely slim.

It looks as if Droptop2001gt / MustangRyan will be hosting a Public Lobby and he will post the room code. He has a really strong connection and he was host even if I was racing or not. No one was DCed when we were racing at SSRX.

I'll sort out bonus points after the race.

Then you need to be more careful. I've not encountered that in plenty of testing.

Well I've tested with six, a number of times, and everyone was delicate enough to get through sensibly.

With 15 drivers at best (probably rather at worst in this track!) the risk grows massive. Sorry to say, but the Monza round severely reduced my trust in some NW drivers giving each other enough space.

Don't bring up Monza Carb or the pics I have of your corner cutting could leave others to suggest the same of yourself.

I think this will be the first Nationwide race without a Ford sprint cup driver taking part. Go RWR! :gtpflag:

Oh, I will bring up Monza whenever I need to give people examples of how not to act in a multi-car battle.

Everyone just needs to give everyone a little space.. Thats all.. Also dont try to push your tire like at Daytona.

Or have all four wheels off track four times and not get penalised for it, when two of my team got penalised for less.

I'm going to be hosting the room for today, and I have a solution that I think is going to work for the race start, without requiring a caution or a red flag.

Madrid can't have a rolling start, only a grid start. So, we will set the room to 51 laps, and have 1 pace lap. Everyone needs to carefully get moving at the beginning, and roll around on the first lap at a 45-mph pace speed. The race will have a SINGLE FILE start, not a 2-wide start. I think a 2-wide start is begging for a disaster, and makes the first turn 25x more likely to end up in a parking lot. The race starts when I type "GO" in the chat box. I'll also call it out over the voice chat. I will attempt to time this exactly as the leader crosses the start/finish line to start lap 2.

The room will open in about 45 minutes.

:odd: Guys, I'm positive there will be plenty to argue about after today's races, there really is no need to start this early. :sly:

I think it's a little late. I believe it has already started.

I dont know if this is gonna happen today or not. I keep getting Sony servers are under maintence.

So you're saying you'd rather cheat than lose ten positions? :sly:

If a corner needs to be cut in order to avoid an accident, yes, I'd rather cheat to get through.

BTW, just so you know, using the outer curbs doesn't count for penalties, as the SC rules show.

You got away Scott free for the same things that others were penalised for. End off. Don't try and defend a position that you've already got away with.

I look forward to hearing what winds you up this week. 👍

Room open, green flag in 50 minutes.
