Found a problem, ParthyHat's strategy was 25 laps a stint, my first stint was 29 next was 26 and the rest were 24's :dopey:

We had the same amount of stops. :)

Meaning that he wasn't going 5 laps a stint more then everyone :sly:

But seriously nice article.

Despite trying to stretch the tires, I was forced to settle for 20 lap stints even though I drove in clean air most of the time after the Drop wreck.

I found I was harder on tyres in clean air, mainly because I could let off and not lose the car ahead in the draft letting me take corners slower.

I couldn't drive in the pack at all because the car again started to act like a 50-year-old bitch in the middle of her period in dirty air, so I had to go on the high line all the time, which claimed the tires.

That's a disturbing image..

Just want to remind everyone that my All Star series starts this Saturday at 7PM BST (2PM Eastern). Only 5 full time drivers so far so sign up for some interseting racing :)

Who's this degenerate?

*calls kartman*

When are you even starting that Matty?

So you read the post and found a typo, but missed the whole sentence that answers your question.

Who's a degenerate? Not me.

I don't 'read' your posts Matthew, I scan them for errors and then mock you for them.

Next weekend will be the first ever SC Indy race in my career, even though I've been around as part-time since S2.

He tried to show up at monza, but the room was full, because carb had already filled his seat. He was just late coming over from another race at Daytona, and wasn't online at all Saturday. Every week has been a little different.

There are just two races left before the Sprint Cup All-Star race takes place. A win at Indy or Suzuka East will allow a driver to bypass the Open Qualifying Race, and start in the Main Event.

As of now, the schedule of events is as follows:

The Race format:

There are 2 segments. The first segment is 30 laps. The final segment is 10 laps.**
**You must finish on the lead lap in the 30-lap race to participate in the 10-lap race.

Between the two segments, a coin will be flipped by the league host.
If the coin lands heads: the field rolls out for segment 2 in the same order as they finished segment 1.
If the coin lands tails: the field rolls out for segment 2 in reverse finishing order from segment 1.

The winner of the 10-lap race is the GTP NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Race Champion, and earns an automatic starting spot in the All Star Race's Main Event for the next five seasons.

___________________________

If any Sprint Cup driver currently scheduled to start in the Open race wins one of the next two races, they will move up to start in the Main Event. That will eliminate one transfer spot from the Open race to the Main Event race, as that field is set to 12 cars. However, that would open up one extra space for a Nationwide driver to transer from the NW race to the Open race, as that field is capped at 14 drivers. One less SC driver means room for one more NW driver to move up. If two SC drivers notch their first win in the next two weeks, there will be 8 NW drivers transferring to the Open race, and only 4 drivers transferring from the Open race to the main event, where 8 drivers would be pre-qualified to start the race.
