Why not just make 4-truck teams official? It's a ridiculous notion to say teams are limited to three trucks, then list a fourth "independent" driver as a support driver. What are they racing for, other than themselves? How does it benefit their team if they are racing for wins? Think about that logic... smuffy and spurgy are team support drivers, which means they are supposed to help their flagship team. But, the best way to help their team is to push them around, and not finish ahead of them. What are smuffy and spurgy racing for then? What is in the best interest of one is never in the best interest of the other.
So, it's either 4-truck teams, or split it up so that all teams are 2-truck teams, where only the one highest scorer per team per race earns team points. Right now, the teams can all be split up nicely into two truck teams.

I see your point there Drop, seeing as almost everyone has a 4-truck team, why not just let people have 4-trucks teams. As far as me not being able to race for wins, Furi will tell you, winning is my first aim, helping my team along the way is a bonus
