The 512 seems to be slightly easier to manage in the infield but slightly trickier through the bus stop. Also I have had to re-adjust some braking distances especially at turn 1.

Tuning's going to be realllly important here, could make a tremendous difference. I don't think the choices are as simple as with the Skyline.

I also have a feeling the remaining contestants are going to be even less likely to share times!

If people are willing to put reference laptimes in for us, not necessarily people in the event, I will construct another temporary leaderboard like I did for the Skyline.

Well that obviously is not for me because I seem to have slipped thru all the previous rounds without actually doing any racing but now at last I do get to do some serious lapping, hoping that my opponent replies to my PM real soon.

Each division has until March 26th to complete both their Silver v Bronze race, AND their Gold v Winner of Silver v Bronze Race.

So, in other words, before March 26th, Hyperspeed and Racer_LP will need to complete their race, AND you will need to complete your race with the winner of that race.

I was trying to provide some scheduling flexibility, by allowing people to potentially run all races on the same weekend, etc.

So it might be a good idea to contact all of the racers in your division, to get some possible times pinned down.

Hopefully that clears it up, but let me know if there are further questions. 👍

After testing the 512BB for the first time ever at Daytona yesterday all I can say is: I am doomed. There was a 50/50 chance of even making a lap without spinning off at least once. Nice engine sound though.

Try driving it around Eiger with stock settings...one of the most frustrating racing experiences of my life

The winner of the Division 3 Gold Class has not been finalized. I anticipate that we will announce a gold winner by this weekend, so that the race could be arranged for the following weekend, at worst.

I know time zones are an issue, it's one of the reasons I just posted all the pairings (Since they are already locked in) and gave everyone until the 26th to complete both races.

All 3 of us our now in contact and we will likely do silver/bronze next Sunday/Monday and the final on Tuesday.

Division 3 Divisional Championship - Round 1
GTP_Animera vs GTP_Roomboter

We managed to get into a race together at the first attempt and I was host so there was no chance of having the host quit on us. There were also only 5 entrants, including GTP_Gadbury who observed the race.

I got a better start and at the end of lap 1 had a slight lead and did my first pitstop. I exited just behind Roomboter and followed him through the infield on lap 2. At the back straight I got past him, and did my 2nd pitstop. I exited the pits ahead of Roomboter and started building a lead, that I kept to the end of the race.

Well done on getting so far in the competition Roomboter, and thanks for the race.

Kevin, we had the time set before the dead line, but as i said in my msg i had to postpone the race, I already told Bryan incase it's not gonna work that we delay the race, I declare him the winner, if my delay will cause that both of us are DQd, then Bryan should be qualified coz he was ready to race on the 1st date we set

GTP_MobySPD vs GTP_Marooned

We started from the pit lane (DR) 40 sec wait and we hit the gas, Bryan took the lead on the 1st curve, i managed to catch up by the 2nd which he faced some wheel spin and left me the inside, he was very respectful every time we were in action in any off the curves, i took the lead after the 2nd curve and started building up through the infield, had the lead after the bus-stop which made me take my 1st pit stop, Bryan took the lead for the 2nd lap and he was way too fast I managed to catch up at the exit of his 1st pit-stop, again i took the lead in the 3rd lap till the end of the infield section, then it was the slip stream, he managed to pass me before we enter the bus-stop, but lost some time (wheel spin) exiting the bus-stop and i took the lead before the pit-lane, so i decided to take my 2nd pit-stop, he managed to catch up quickely and go before the left hander of the pit, i was doing a 100Km/h by that point and tried to break down to 60 to be able to turn and it happened, the right rear tyre in the grass, the car did a 360 but i managed to recover it with one word shouting to my self, (YOU LOST) but then the miracle happened, Bryan had a bad wheel spin on the 1st right hander which made him loose time and me to catch up quickely but i couldn't manage to pass though, I tried to keep up the pace but he was too fast...he went for his 2nd pit coz he had a big lead i guess it was about .7xx but he faced some problems where i had my 360 , so Lap 5 Bryan coming out of the pit, I'm pushing hard out of the 1st left hander, I managed to take the lead with Bryan on my back, but the wheel spin is a killer, he lost some time again on the right hander and i started building up through the infield again, 6 clean laps for both of us till the end of the race with .1xx to .3xx difference.

That was one of my best races ever, Bryan was so consistant on taking the lead which made me do a couple of mistakes and mis-shifts.

Bryan, Thanks for the adrenaline rush and the high heart beats , it was nice racing you and wish to race you again soon.
