And see our patent lawyer if you want more details than that... Trade secrets and all. :sly:

:D

So basically we are all measured against the very best among us, and in relation to everyone else who has submitted. :gtpflag:

If the different between the first and the last is 0.00.500, then the division will .150 for each Category. :ouch: :ill: :nervous:

Thanks for the clarification

Actually data is always taken from the midpoint and then is plotted to it's left and right. So you don't have to worry about the fastest or slowest guys, just where the majority ends up.

I wouldn't mind the number of that patent lawyer though :sly:.

I think I'm done with Willow. But the BMW always seems to be able to go a little faster, a little closer to spinning straight into the hills. Still think GT6 is more DS3 friendly that GT5, don't know how the others feel about this...

Just did my laps on 0% weather now. The M3/BH is a nightmare with DS3 and no aids (except ABS1).
I know I can do better but it's hard to pull out a decent lap with the new physics and DS3. :D
Looking forward to see where I stand.

One more question: Will the leaderbords show if I'm using DS3 or wheel? Thanks.

Yeah i was struggling a lot there at first, you need to be almost a bot there to make decent progress.
I probably spent 20 hour there or something like that, now i like it, you always feel like you're going to fail every moment but it's ok  it's the car driving you. For my best lap (so far) i had a ''magic moment'' because i found 7 tenths even when i though i was done on that combo, it felt good.

Trying to import my replays in my other account so I can verify that they work, but can't figure out how to do that, was it left out of gt6?

Go to Gallery -> Library, on the right side of the replay list should be "Load File(s)". You have to move your cursor to see it :P

Well, after roughly 100 hours spent on these, I think I'm about ready to submit. I'll still take a shot here and there at these until the deadline, but I'm pretty much at my limit on both of these. All I know is, that with all the time I've spent on these, its going to be pretty damn embarrassing if I don't place well. If I do place low, that'll be ok I guess, as I'll just have the challenge of moving up through the ranks again. It wouldn't be no fun if I placed in D1 (yea, right) and had nothing to shoot for, so yea, wherever I end up will be fine. Good luck to those still running.

My First time here at the WRS TT's really.
Heard alot about the WRS back during GT5's reign, and always did wish to be apart of it. But owing to the fact that one needed a separate account, I just didn't get around to it. Glad they've done away with that now.

It's been real fun at both the TT combos. Finally submitted and says it's Accepted.

I've always craved online competition, but due to my odd timezone, it's hard to get decent races so Time trials are where most of the competition really lies for me. Would spend a lot of time on the GT5 Seasonal TT's but I just felt it never really was a true measure of my driving prowess; wasn't really the most level of fields out there.

But this seems to be perfect, let's see where I'm placed. Until then, I'm gonna give my ankles and knees a break

You do need at least have to have one replay saved on the account you want to import the replay. If you have no replays yet on that account, you can't move all the way to the right on your screen to get to that part you're mentioning Sutuki.
I'm checking your qualifier replays on a different account and had to do a race in order to save the replay and to be able to import replays. :ill:

Managed to find another tenth and a half at Willow! Another tenth would give me a lap at my limit, but I think I may stop here and submit both of my times tomorrow. :)

Didn't know that... that's ridiculous 👍

Yes I noticed this as well, did a goodwood run up the hill and saved that, I figured thats the quickest way to get it :)

Well I just checked this entire thread and didn't find this anywhere so here goes.
This was FANTASTIC.

During my trawl of the thread I chanced upon the discussion around the choosing of Willow Springs. And I'm thinking how did these guys get through school? Or....oops...sorry.
Research the problem!

Such research throws up unexpected treasures:

Tom Cruise in a RB 6(?) off the track at Willow Springs! There you go. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Now at least we have something to talk about next time we bump into Tom....so we don't get into Scientology and all that.

And finally, did you know that there is a tree at Willow Springs? It may even be a willow. I saw it on Google Maps and it got me thinking about the increased oxygen content at LeMans early in the morning at the 24 hrs from all the trees.

Just ran my best lap time at BH, putting all my best sector times togheter.... I could possible shave of a little more time but I am close to my limit.... This combo defenitly gives you a better idea when you have reached your limit, where on the Willow combo I am still not sure.... Couple of days left before I submit, so I will keep on tryin to improve.

Despite a flickering throttle pot on my G27, I managed to find almost 0.25 at Brands this afternoon, so now ready to submit :)

Just submitted. Not going to have much more time on it before the deadline so taking the plunge now before I forget.

I spent SO much longer on these than I thought I would. Especially part 2, I just kept on finding tenths over and over.

The more time I spend on this the more I am enjoying it.

Seemed to click today with the DS3 and some controller settings tweaks and found many many seconds on both tracks!

Enough for today...

@zzz_pt

Yep! I had only spent about half hour on each track before hand though and spent about 2 hours on each track today.

Just changing the buttons around for a more fluid feel. Accelerate and break on R2/L2 is the biggest gain for me - I'm used to a wheel and pedals!

Same here, just submitted and its been accepted, i hope its not the flu that make me submit that early:nervous:
I dont mind where i will end up though, im looking forward the same fun i had in GT5 or better regardless the division!

Goodluck all 👍

I'm done at Brands Hatch, I managed to find 0.3 of a second. I could probably find another 0.1 if I kept at it, but I don't want to torture myself any further.

I'll probably have one last stab at Willow Springs and then submit.
