How i wish that they opened this to the US, maybe i would have actually played the TT more than a few times...

Anyways, best of luck to everybody!!! Would be great to see some GTP members make it to the Academy. Was any GTP members in last year??

Make sure you register with the GTA site, remember mad94d can't participate due to his age, so if there's one other dropout you are in.

Exactly what he said, I know that myself and Jas12n can't enter as we're both under age. So that puts you in doesn't it? :)

I don't think so, jas12n never posted a time in the Normal car so that excludes him from the overall rankings.

Ok, whoops. He said he was going to do a run.:lol: But still he only needs 1 dropout to make it in.
 
Hi, congrats for all that made it. I finished 3rd in Portugal with a 3.24.231 (P_Chermont). Not a great time but it was enough to get through in Portugal (wouldn't have made the top 20 in most places..!!!). I already registered but no e-mail yet...
 
Well I can't attend as all of you probably have heard and will know that I can't enter. But anyway, good luck to all in the national finals especially all the Australians! Good luck guys.:cheers: Wish I could've joined you there.

Its a shame, i cant see why they cant let 14+ or 16+ it wouldnt make any difference atall, you would be in formula 1 at 14 if you were good enough? i spose they dont wont some nissans in the wall at silverstone:sly:
 
First off congrats to all member in the next round! Best of luck to you all and hopefully we see one of you racing for real later on in the competition.

No confirmation here yet (UK), but i think im in. Im not a prolific poster, but a frequent visitor. This place is a mine of gt info. Great site.

NATIONAL FINAL DETAILS
When: Saturday, February 13th, 2pm - 6pm.
Where: Dublin city centre (Venue TBC).

I was one of two Irish that made it to london the last time.
 
I think the final in Dublin will be in the Tripod (formally the red box). 8 or 9 years ago that's where they held a final for the Formula 1 2001 game and it was a Sony event.
