I just lost all my data so i now need to get all my race cars back.....

Everybody really should back up their game save data every week or 2. I am going to do mine tonight. Pick any car under 1 million credits and I will send it to you. If everyone dies the same at least you will have the cars you need for racing.

I did this twice, always back your save up, Mine's now backed up permanently, on my PC, also on my USB, and on a backup account. That's 4 game saves to delete before mine is truly gone. (you get paranoid after 2 accidental deletes)

Let me know what you need, I got so much help restoring my saves you can't even imagine, so shoot me a fr to GTP_CSL, and I'll send you something daily.👍

I made a mistake with the Lambo-its 1200 kg.For some reason mine had 100kg of ballast. Its power band is really resricted but it doesnt drive like it.

Nomad Diablo-541 PP-328 hp-1200kg-53.5 P/L

I had the same thought about the Clarion GT-R and the Bandai. If you can believe it the Clarion is actually worse with less power.:yuck:I quit half way thru my 1st lap.

I'll take a look at the Lexus and Supra but i'm betting the Lexus will be too slow on the straights with its aero issues.

EDIT
The YMS Supra feels like a GT300 in grip, but the Lexus have too much.

YMS Supra (0 miles) 539PP-316hp-1090 kg--P/L 65.5%
Eneos (0 miles) 551 PP--339 hp-1100 kg -P/L 65.0%
Bandai (0 miles) 554 PP--341 hp--1100 kg -P/L 66.0%

The Clarion is truly awful yes.:yuck:

How big a grip advantage does the Bandai really have though? I'm thinking at the least it could be a "low power good handling" car, maybe? (in GT300)

The Eneos and YMS should both work though I believe.

This is, of course, if Masi is ok with these. I just figure with how many more GT500's we have, and these being harder to implement into GT500's, they could serve us better adding to the narrow GT300 field.

130R is easy flat @ 141 mph in each Lexus even if the line isnt perfect. In most of the other cars the outside curb is waiting to jump up and kill you but the Lexus and the Takata NSX its very easy. The Supra's require more than just flat out.

Use my Acura review for your sig if you want.

The power band of a GT500 car prepped down to GT300 would be horrible wouldn't it? Especially in the rain. Anything to say about that?

I do agree on the rain aspect, yes.

I said yesterday I think it'd be best to stick to only real GT300 cars, or at least SuperGT cars.
Not sure about the Eneos, Bandai, and YMS though, they all have very narrow powerbands stock, so I was hoping they wouldn't be too bad.

I can't say anything concrete though, I'm just trying to help GT300 by offering advice, working on trying out a new set for GT500's myself, just got all the mod-free versions I needed broken in finally last night. :)

I was thinking of not utilizing the weather at all in the championship - mainly to minimize the number of incidents and maximize close, competitive racing action.

If we can't come close to 15, then 10 is our best target - each car to be used 3 times.

Finally got home tonight after a long weekend. I'll have a go and do a quick test of all the cars we've talked about the last couple of pages.

Don't forget that the DLC might bring us new Super GT cars(hopefully GT300). So all this testing could just be a waste if such DLC comes out. Maybe delay the start of WSGTC to wait for DLC? Just throwing this outta my head. :D

I think waiting for PD to do something to start a season is the last thing we want to do.

The Celica and MR-S have more torque then the YMS Supra and BMW,and its lower in the power band. The others have slightly more torque, but the power bands are similar.

I think it's highly possible we'll receive old tracks from GT4 such as Motegi and Infineon. No need for delays as we can just switch tracks on the go.

If we do get both - i'll say bye-bye to Indy and Daytona Road.

In terms of cars (GT300), i hope we do get a couple of different liveries for the Lexus and RX7's. If not, the two available European cars - Lambo and Ferrari.

I wouldn't mind having the BMW if it fits right in (as homage to this year's GT300 Champion Hatsune BMW). What does everyone else feel?

Hmmm, very close to my favorite track (Indy) discarded while we run Spa and Suzuka twice?
I'd like to think we'd get rid of some doubles before good tracks.
DRC could be understandable, being the draft fest that it is, but IRC is a great road course.

Suzuka has 1 spot in the schedule - Spa has two.

I never liked both (flat) tracks as i think they lack a bit of character (at least in the discipline of road racing - as oval tracks, fantastic on their own rights as we already know) - but if i were to choose from the two, id choose Indy. Both produced very close finishes in WSGTC - although im gonna have to blame those very long straights.

My dream schedule (in no particular order):
Okayama
Laguna Seca
Sepang
Spa
Sugo
Suzuka
Fuji
Autopolis
Motegi
Monaco

Great points system, love it. 👍 Here's my dream schedule:

Macau
Nordschleife
Spa
Boavista
Bathurst
Portimao
Brands Hatch
Motegi
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
Mont Tremblant

Can you elaborate on the reasoning why? What if said cars (lowered to 60-70% limiter) are turning the same average GT300 lap times? I'm not that big of a tuner.

I think (I'm not quite sure though) Denilson mentioned something about the drawback of lowering the power to a certain extent. Read it somewhere in one of the forums. Maybe you can ask him.

Right... back on topic a bit.

Here's my testing template

Would be great if you guys can copy and replicate so we can compare data.

Online | Public
Slipstream: Weak
Boost: Off
Tire Wear: Off
Aids: Everything Off
ABS: 1
Damage: Off
Edge of Track: Real

Max Downforce. Stock drivetrain/tranny/suspensions/brake bias. No ballast.

Lexus IS350 will stand as yardstick - baseline of 300hp - all the others will adjust to this figure. I'll be filling this in as the days go by. Did a quick initial test with the first four premium cars. Can be faster with more practice - at least at my skill level.

Cusco was the most forgiving and easiest car to drive. Garaiya was the fastest but can easily go into a spin. Lexus struggles on the straights but has fair amount of grip around the corners. Nothing new i guess - although at 300hp, these cars are pretty close - so far atleast. Those gaps should increase by track length. We'll see.

Tire wear off?

I just lost all my data so I now need to get all my race cars back.....

Yet my online profile says I've still got everything!?

I believe I have the same MR-S that you use....pretty sure it's under 1 mill so let me know and I'll fire it off to you. You'll have to break it in though since I haven't used it :)

edit: apologies for posting under here....Paul usually provides me with race replay links since I'm nowhere near game enough to join in yet, lol

Hello,i'm a new here.

I choose the wrong schedule : I put Pal meanwhile I was thinking I was tick NTSC

Can you switch this Mistake please?

You can't do testing with tyre wear off because each car will behave differently when you turn it on. And you definitely can't test cars with stock suspension, as from season 2 testing the Lexus can be at least a second slower with the stock tune and I'm not even a good tuner. Not that I'm going to test mind, because I don't agree with the 300 bhp value thing going on.

I beg some more people join gt500, because I'm most probably not switching to gt300.

I tried mentioning that..."shrug"
Leaving stock tunes on cars just leaves room for somebody that can set their car up properly to have a huge advantage, especially on very under-steery cars.
Over-steering cars usually don't gain lap times, just stability from good tunes, neutral cars will be neutral, but an under-steering pig can easily gain 2 seconds on a large track.
