Hello everyone. I'm golfer (PSN ID) or as I became known in the only GT5 series I actually race in, golfer the goldfish. Don't ask why. SOmething to do with being slow.

But anyway, I have signed up as the new series writer so you can expect me to be coming round to your trailer after an exhausting race in the worlds finest GT cars and then asking your questions on how the race went until you collapse. I'll also be taking some photos of the race to add to the finished type up. Primarily, be writing up a race report of any official race that occurs so make sure that those race reports have details to help me write up the best report possible. Here is a link to my outdated photo gallery. (Multiple additional photos waiting to be added).

For a brief History of WSGTC, head on over HERE.

WSGTC has gone through 2 seasons so far, each comprising of 40+ drivers - with a tight knit core
of about 30 drivers. We welcome all newcomers and we hope to find more respectable, clean, and
competitive GT5 fans to race with.

I would like to enter in this competition, but I'm a bit lost. The most recent date I see is from 11-11-11, is the competition over or almost over?
Oh, and if I could join I'd like to enter the GT300 with a RE Amemiya RX-7 Aspadrink from 06.

Fantastic Event ,Good luck to all Participents ,Gutted my Slow connection won't allow me to Take Part.

It has yet to start. The season kicks off in January. Qualifier started today and will run until January 2nd.

Committed to the series as the sign-up requires.

Sounds like a good, well organized race series.

Welcome to the series!

Just to remind everyone, read and familiarize yourself with the OP if you're lost. Otherwise, don't hesitate to ask by posting here.

I just signed up for the GT500 class. Also, if you're still looking for writers I would be happy to be a writer. I can also do photography - check my thread in my sig for some of my work.

Looking forward to this!

PM me.

I don't know about the CT230R, RX7 LM, RX8 LM, and Lamborghini Nomad Diablo being classified as GT300. There's no way a poor little Toyota APEX MR-S will be able to put up with a 4WD, 600hp CT230R or a low, wide, mid-engined Lamborghini Diablo built by Reiter Engineering to compete in FIA GT1. Personally I think these cars should be moved up to GT500.

Those cars will not run on those specs - they were considered to be homologized (meaning regulated be to on par with the rest) - they've all been scrapped for the time being. At the moment, we have 9 cars which are all GT300 cars. We're looking for 1 more addition so we can utilize the 30 car limit (each car to be selected twice).

Just signed up for GT300! First time I'll be participating in an online race series, and sounds like a good one too! :)

Also, the thread title says sing ups instead of sign ups. Just pointing it out. :)

Welcome fellas 👍

Make sure to read up the OP.

I'm planning a few pre-season races so i can hopefully find a few potential race hosts.

Hehe thanks. I was planning to go for the gt300, but than I saw aderrrm's post.

lol

Anyway, we are currently testing the GT300 cars for homologation.

The Lexus IS350 will stand as a benchmark for all the other cars to adjust to at 300hp. There are 9 cars at the moment and looking to add 1 more to maximize the 30 car limit (each car to be chosen 3 times).

GT500 testing will mainly be done by CSLACR and other GT500 veterans from the past season. Send him a PM if you'd like to help.

I've signed up and ready to run a qualifier. Going to practice a lot before contacting a steward for a lobby.

This is my confirmation post for the GT300. I've never done one of these before, so I'll be learning the ropes. Should be fun.

Welcome every one. Glad there's a lot of new people willing to take the plunge into online racing. Seems like this event's really broken a divide and made some of the guys sitting "outside the fence" sort of say "Eff it" and have properly popped through the woodwork.

I applaud you all as online racing, and this sub in general, is just an amazing opportunity of fun.

I'm one of your racing stewards and have been with WSGTC since the absolute beginning so if any of you have any special question you think might've got lost in the storm, so to speak, then feel free to PM me or add me on PSN for one on one instruction.

Good luck e'rybody!

P.S:
Get plenty of practice in before you decide to qualify as it's really important to get a good time in! No one says you need to qualify today, it just started today. So unless you're gonna be super busy after the next few days and won't have time later, there's no point in rushing :D:tup:

Wardez was in fact the very first one to reply in Thread 1. Which he followed up with a double post. :D

Like he mentioned, Qualifier started today and will run through the whole month of December with a January 2, 2012 deadline - so Practice if you have the time, but don't wait till last minute!

Signed up and confirmed. Looking forward to it very much.

GT300 here. Do you need to know what car I want now?
