The GT300 is a very different car to drive compared to the GT500. A lot of grip but so little power. Where in the GT500 you can focus a lot on just the corner exit and to get as early as possible on the throttle, where in the GT300 it seems like the key thing is to have as high mid corner speed as possible. I'm not very good on corner entry which sort of destroys any hope for good mid corner speed.

This will be a good learing experiance.

Cool thanks.

Thank you, those are all very obvious infractions.
I'm not sure what you want to know exactly.
Boundaries are always white lines/rumbles. Only if there is no white line or rumble strip does it become debatable.

In the case of a rumble returning to a white line, one must observe both at their respective places.

Nice. I'm coming, look for a friend request.

EDIT: We need more GT500 bros in here. 👍

Spent a fair bit of time in WSGTC-PAL-1 with a few other competitors, the NSX could do with more setup work (wrestling the car around does get tiring on the arms after five laps...), but I'm reasonably optimistic with the speed of it

Race 1-had a good battle with toyotsupra and johnkiller2
Race 2-race started when i was tuning my car :yuck: so i missed out
Race 3-managed to keep johnkiller2 behind me for 3 laps but he got a run on me and won the gt300 class
Race 4-blackscreened with nothing but a track map to entertain me :grumpy:

.: Drivers Briefing (Read! Read! Read!) :.
Welcome to WSGTC newbies! I'll keep this brief and in simple English. Race clean, disciplined, and respectful around your fellow competitors! Fast but incompetent drivers need not apply - rather have slow and clean! Read the Racing Code 685 times (Click Here!).

You must follow the Car Specs and Regulations pictured below (TBA)! Not following specs will result in an immediate Disqualification.

While inside the race lobby, do not use the 'CHAT' feature while Stewards are sending out instructions for pre-race checks. If you have questions, go ask them NOW! Otherwise, read the OP. We will be using a special pre-race qualifying that is listed below - Read it! Thank you for your patience!

.:Nürburgring GP/F Specifics:.

Qualification rules for Nurburgring GP/F will be usual. You have 2 laps to submit your Superlap.

http://min.us/ll3v2q

[*]IMPORTANT NOTE:
There are three problem spots, turns 1, 2, the T5 kink, and obviously the T14/15 chicane.

Do not go past the white line/run-off area on turn 1 exit.

Do not go wide right on turn 2, you must stay within the rumble strips and you can only have two tires max on the run off tarmac at any time.

Do not go past the white line/run-off area on the exit of turn 4 going through the T5 kink.

Always maintain at least two tires on the rumble strips going through the chicane. Two wheels on the grass is ok, never more.

[*]Green Flag: Polecar will decide where the start is (somewhere before the startline). He must make sure that ALL cars are clear of the last turn before starting.
It's totally up to the pole car, as long as ALL cars behind him are on the straight. He can not start the race if the last car is still in the middle of the last turn. Pole car has right side of track for first right turn.

[*]Make sure to stay on track at ALL times with at least 2 wheels touching white line / Red / White curb. You can not use run offs or tarmac of any kind to gain speed. You will be penalized heavily during the race and disqualified for having a dirty lap in qualifying.
Just stay inside the rumble strips and course white lines.

[*]Special Mixed Class Starting Procedure:
GT300's will do one lap then line up behind GT500s and wait to roll out.

[*]If you feel insecure of where the track limit is, just join a quali-session during mon-wednesday and ask a steward to do a slow lap with you.

[*]Pit lane.
Entry: Go slowly into the pits as it's a quick right hair pin and the first part of the hair pin is all you.

Exit: Nothing special about the exit. Just make sure to stay right when you enter the track until you are 100% sure that you will not cause an accident.
General: When entering and exiting pits, the white lines are ment to be respected. Yes, you can cross the white line when entering and exiting the pits. But if an incident occur, the driver who crossed the white line (The one on track, or the one who comes out from the pits) will be held responsible, and a penalty will come as a result.
