We actually have a good relationship with Porsche – and as soon as the situation with their contract changes, one of these days they’ll appear in Gran Turismo,” says Yamauchi. With Gran Turismo 6 looking to introduce 12 months worth of additional cars, will it be happening within the lifespan of Polyphony’s next game? “That, I’m not sure about. I think the Porsche and EA contract, the terms are a little bit longer.

And

Eurogamer article features tons of stuff. Better go read it.

So Porsche is actually a possibility now. Wow.

One more thing,
EA! I. HATE. YOU.

This will be interesting if it comes to fruition. Also note that FM5 does NOT have any Porsches (only has 4 RUF cars).

What's the problem? Yes, this topic has been discussed to death, but NOT with this new info. It's good to hear PD are in frequent contact (it seems) with Porsche. So that's a good thing and a good thing to know.

you said it ...

This topic has been discussed to death, this is commonly known news

how about we leave it until Kaz says.. hey guys PORKA's ARE IN ... then discuss it.... maybe ??

Why don't you leave it to the mods to say things like that, I have seen that type of comment of yours in two threads already.

Maybe because people are just posting new threads about pointless stuff ... :dopey:

Not true. This info has never been avaible, not in such manner. And in my first post I said why it's a good thing we have it now. Not gonna respond to your smart ass comments from here on, everything has been said.

EDIT: Last thing: To destroy your comments, I would like to inform you that this new info has just been added as news in the news section...

It isn't really pointless, it was a new interview and maybe some people would like to discuss it, if the mods think otherwise then feel free to close this thread but I don't think you are a mod...:sly:

Porsche are not in GT6 .. EA own the rights to Porsche until further notice .. so nothing has changed , so it's not really new stuff is it.

Maybe this would have been better posted in the previous porsche threads.. to continue the discussion there.

I just think it's pointless starting new discussions over things that have already gone over & over .

EA are known for exclusively licensing things. Even the smallest of things, if they had a game that competed with GT and FM, they would exclusively license road. Why am I saying this? See PES 2014 on wikipedia.

Excellent... I feel destroyed ..

Considering there is ALWAYS a thread for something new that was posted on the GTP News page, and since this thread was the sole thread that get the info first, there's no reason for it to close.

Now back on topic, I'm extremely happy to hear this news. I've always wanted to drive a Porsche Carrera GT since I first saw it in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (the last time since EA made a quality game)! It's such a shame that a filthy little contract is the only thing keeping Porsche from the GT franchise.

Atleast now we know he does wants to implement Porsche.
Which probably isn't saying much to be honest. He tried putting in a Porsche in GT3 before it was blocked by EA.

I will never buy EA games.

I've said the same thing over and over... but lately I've really fallen in love with new Porsche's. The new Turbo looks awesome, new GT3 is mighty good and the 918 Spyder may very well be one of the best cars ever made... So I pre-ordered Nfs Rivals! Though my bro wanted it for Christmas so I have to wait until the 25th of December to try those cars :/...

However I've always said it, Porsche is a technologically advanced company, that takes pride in how the cars drive, look on the outside and on the inside and I'm sure they would love for their cars to be showcased how they are in real life and not as arcade vehicles that take bends at stupid speeds.

Because drifting at 150mph with NOS doesn't really do the company much justice. But I suppose the problem is, that EA gives them an offer they cannot refuse. :(
