Yo graf, I think it would be helpful if you quoted somebody if your posting towards someone else as in your response/question/response ??? What ????......lol

well since I was replying to akmuq and he was the post before me, I figured quoting the post above would be....pointless? lol but I guess I don't want to confuse anyone.

I hate to be so confused but are you saying that the race is 50% longer then what? 40%, so that would make the race now 60%? No see habla, what am I not understanding.......lol

No typo grafpt. You just misunderstood me. Just leave it at that. It would take a while to explain myself.

O ok lol

Whats with the rule changes every single day? 50% LONG?

That rule was changed on Monday and hasn't changed since. Almost ever driver expressed their interest in the race being 50% race length, including me, so it was changed.

40% is to short anyways.

^ I agree ^

I plan on making a few of the races possibly longer and maybe for final race make it 100% ^_^

The % is not technically in the official rules. It's on the race information.

I'm going to miss the sepang race next week. It gives the reserves planty of practice by telling them now. I think I will be in every single race except for the one after Christmas from now on.:)

Let me see if I got this right, did I miss some pole concerning an interest in the topic of race length? Was the race established as having a given length and then altered?

I really don’t care how long the race is as long as when something is posted it remains the same and if you are going to alter a previously declared regulation for the race and it has been changed, as a promoter you need to bring it to the attention of your other 11 primary participants, rather the have them discover it on there own.

When alterations occur to the parameters of a race and someone states there concern that they didn’t know anything about it, before it took place, these types of things can be the kind of issues that lend them self’s to the reemergence of the 3 horseman of the apocalypse.

Oh bye the way will we have to make 2 pit stops in this event?

Sepang is the Malaysia race which is next Sunday.

o ok thank you

Lefty- There was a discussion about it. It was changed making the race 29 laps. Which has been that way since the 1st race and chas not changed since. All anyone needs to know is in the OP. When something changes, I put the update and link to OP so you may see them.

Unfortunately, there is no F1 2010 in my mailbox today...

It's in my PS3!!!!! :D What a blast. Driving without driver aids is anything but easy. I have to take every corner in 3rd or higher to allow safe travel through. And don't get me started on wet conditions. Seriously, I haven't tried wet races yet.

Anyone up for some racing now? There soesn't seem to be anyone :/

Congrats on getting your hands on the game :)

For What it's Worth: If you are going to race this weekend I would concentrate on the Melbourne track until you can hit the top 500 in the world so that you will feel comfortable when you race.

Wondering if we'll get our first wet race in the URS season this Sunday? Have any of you guys been doing time trials in the wet? I'll be doing some myself tonight just in case and may do a practice race if a few of you are online.

A wet race is pretty likely.

Well, after a test session I found out where I'm at. In the dry I'm terrible. I need practice as most of my laps are invalid. I'm in the 1:26s. In the wet is a different story. I'm in 70th in the world. I've got a 1:30.1

Sunday's race will be set to Dynamic. So we will see lol

Demonblade- I would recommend only practicing online, seeting up AI players, because TTs are backed by 2010 cars, so it will be different online. I will be on tonight practicing quite a bit so I will let the thread know.

Ok, thanks for the advice grafpt. I will be on at about 10pm GMT if you fancy running a practice for Sunday?

Man I don't like Melbourne. What I do like though is rain. :)

Any one who tries this deserves to win

Lefty and I are practicing for Melbourne now. Anyone wanna race, shoot me a friend request if you haven't yet, and I'll invite you.

I was practising today and I kept hitting lefty. I have got to practice. Everyone be careful when your tyres are worn.

Everyone be careful on a whole. I think i'll manage rain if it happens, light rain for sure ,but heavy rain, I don't know. Light rain feels like just a bit less grip than dry conditions, and heavy rain is incredibly slippery. And it's also pretty hard to see, too. Yuo should've seen me swerving around the straights when behind someone trying to find some sight. And since I don't use the racing line, or any aids for that matter, you need to see everything in front of you to set up properly.

By the way, the cars all do feel different online. I haven't driven many of them for long periods of time to know about them, but i've driven the HRT, Mercedes, and Ferrari the most so far of any others, and the HRT feels understeery, but very stable and under control. Mercedes is also very under control and stable, but it does handle well. Ferrari changes direction well, and isn't too hard to control, but it may bite back. Ferrari feels best, and i'm not jsut saying that because i'm a Ferrari lover, but I haven't even driven the McLaren, Red Bull, Lotus or Virgin yet, plus have only driven the Williams, Force India, Sauber, and Torro Rosso only in a few short races.
