This is the best post in this thread.

This must be the most badly organised race series ever. Rules constantly being changed, people signing up and then finding out they're not in, people being given the car that someone else should already have, race lengths being changed (even after a poll), TC etc might possibly be used (or not) and maybe for some and not others, and one of the most vocal people wanting things done his way doesn't even have the game.

And then you're wanting to give out a prize? Don't even think about it unless your rules and regs are watertight, and this isn't watertight. Not by a long way. You would just be opening yourself up to complaints and other issues.

The rules did seem to be sorted out, but you keep on changing them and trying to add new things when they're not needed. You also seem to spend more time on your fancy graphic in the first post than addressing questions from folk wanting to race. Sort the rules out, set them in stone, and see who still wants to race and race with them. If people don't like a set of rules, there is no point trying to accomodate them now (when most rules are set) as it just causes confusion.


And you can keep quiet until you've actually got the game. You're just causing aggravation and confusion.

This actually isn't "horribly unorganized", but whatever. It's completely set. I am simply ASKING a few questions to get opinions, nothing more. And do you know why? BECAUSE PEOPLE ASKED ME.
-NOTHING on the official rules is changing. Period.
-Race is being ran this sunday. Period.
-Teams were only brought up because multiple people have come to me wanting to be in the series but can't due to 12 person limit. But people seem to NOT like that idea, so it is now scrapped, which is ALL I wanted to know.
-As far as prizes go, do YOU see them? Their little custom titles for signatures.....nothing more. And any future ones, will maybe be small stickers for people, because I make them and wouldn't cost me anything. And even if it did I don't mind putting a few dollars into something that I'm enjoying.
-Peter, yes you are on the reserve list. You may be a long time GTP user, BUT YOU DON'T OWN THE GAME! I'm not going to keep you on the grid and have someone who owns the game on reserve.

Pretty upset I'm spending a lot of time on this, and getting whipped in the face......

Hey grafpt, don't lose faith! Believe me, your hard work in putting this together is really appreciated. Sundays race was good and this weeks will be even better I'm sure. This is going to be a really good championship and I can't wait for Sunday. Hang in there 👍

It will be good. From the pre-season race it's evenly matched between douqa and p1timo for the no.1 spot. They got the exact same time in qualifying and that was for pole and 2nd. I think some drivers will do better. I hope I will for obvious reasons and grafpt because of the 2 punctures that wrecked his race. Tyre simultation will fix that. Lefty had an engine failure and an epic fail(no offence) with his setup and got caught speeding(as we heard from various spiced up words). Things like that will decide races possibly and you got to practice(unless you're name is akmuq and you can just complain about it LOL). I'm so excited. Good luck to everyone in this championship.

I’ll be doing some test and tunes for the Bahrain race later because the stupid game locked up on me while on line and I lost all my saved everything, so I’m like a spring flower w/ no setups at all so I will be running about 50 laps on Bahrain tonight to try and set up my Mercedes from scratch. I’ll be on about 0200 GMT

Grafpt, you've done a reasonable job with so many variables and put in the hard yards. I don't see the whiners setting up a race series'. So take it easy people, be grateful, be constructive and get behind it or simply move on and do your own thing. End of rant.

Such a shame, I was really looking forward to this championship, one of the main reasons I was getting this game. Guess I won't play this game as much as I had hoped...

As of right now no.

Votes are also 50-50 right now too. I would not be apposed to a second division. It's just I would want a for sure 12. And someone willing to host those, but that brings up more confusion and such.

If someone wants to try to answer my other post I will know if when I am forced to FORMAT my PS3 HD I might be able to save some of my other game data, but as it stands right now I will nuke the PS3 to get back on in time for the race.

I have a Black Magic Intensity Pro capture card. But when you go to the site, look at the Intensity Shuttle. It released about a month after I got my Pro -_- if you have USB 3.0 card in your comp, it would be better. I just threw that together, the video I capture once series starts will be much better quality lol

if you care to read abot it, it's in the last entry of my corrupted thred. I'll be practicing on Bahrain in a few and I'll be there for the race. WEEEEEEEEEE
