Legendary cars dealer refresh

I guess you can add this one to the list.

I was given the following car for being a Hagerty member. I am a McLaren F1 fan (I even own the book “Driving Ambition” by Gordon Murray, Ron Dennis, and Doug Nye) and was looking forward to having one of these in the game at some point. Given my schedule and responsibilities grinding for one was impossible and paying for one was out of the question.

Being given this car sort of contradicts the reasons given by the developer for the values. I was given this car by virtue of who my insurance carrier is. Some may recall my thoughts on this in another thread. How much will this cost when it goes in the Legendary car dealer?

I appreciate Hagerty for this opportunity of course, but I hope Polyphony addresses complaints so it is easier for others to enjoy their dream cars as well.
Imagine if it is a 20 million car but is still the go to car for power tracks in Gr3 BOP races, the esports community could go nuclear.

I just got a 6 stars ticket and won 500.000 cr. It paid the Mangusta...it's gorgeous

EDIT: What do you think ....Does it make sense to get two Mangusta and keep one without the wide body?
The widebody option isn't anything special. Doesn't full blown chonkify it like the Pantera or the CSL

I am not big on playing online. I didn’t even consider this angle. Yes you’re absolutely right. I briefly drove it and it was among the best handling cars I have driven thus far.

Edit: to be fair, I haven’t driven many cars in this “class”…so I can’t necessarily say if it performs “better” than others….BUT it’s better than anything I have in my garage aside from the 917 Living Legend, I suppose.

Wonder if Aviva would do me a solid and give me a CLK? 😂

Can you explain how you actually acquired the F1? How does PD even know you have Hagerty IRL?

Hagerty “Drivers Club” members are given a code for a free legendary car. This was advertised in the lead up to the game. The catch is that it has a Hagerty livery. I haven’t tried to change it or anything at this time. I simply took some shots then turned game back off.

Yep - we covered it in the dynamic pricing article.

I contacted Hagerty to ask if there was a list of cars that players could receive (and... other questions), but I've not had a solid response yet.

I just tried to join Hagertys Drive Club but cannot unless you have a policy with them. She told me you could do it in the past but cannot now,so i told her to maybe re-think that policy because they could possibly sell alot of drive club memberships to GT 7 players due to the credits being at a premium and she agreed and would bring it up to her bosses.

Do these Hagerty cars come with a tracker to monitor your driving and alter your real world premium for the following year?
HAH- I hope not!

Oh that’s an interesting idea, but here’s hoping Polyphony makes changes that don’t necessarily require steps like this though.

By the time you do get the credits for your multi million car it be out of stock. All my fave cars are missing from brand central, preview said 420 cars at launch, where are they, locked up in that dumbass Hagerty's nonsense

...the F1 getting it's own "Hagerty Livery" text in that chip shown means it's an entirely separate entity to the standard F1 GTR that will be in game in the future, too.

Jaguar XJ13 was approx 15k as far as I can remember...
At 12,000,000cr it should have been 12,000CP... however, if they're applying the same "+20%" figure as the UCD when a car in Brand Central shows up, it could have been 14,400CP.

Hence my question about the F1 GTR. If we can determine the CP increase, we can simply multiply it by 1,000 to get an approximate value for when it does show up.

I'll be able to tell you for F1 though in few hours, I presume it'll be 18500, but for GTR up until it shows up somewhere sadly no...

According to this user, this is the standard F1 GTR you're getting.
Here's the skinny: it's an exclusive for Hagerty Driver's Club Members. Which I am. I did have to ask them for the code, which gives you the car and the livery as 2 separate items. Default livery is the Kokusai Kaihatsu UK Racing carried over from GTS.
