Show me the review footage then.
I have seen YouTubers and pre-release reviews of the game and several peopole showing the legendary dealership, but none had the CLK LM.
I have seen the dates February 23rd in the Dealership which had:
Aston Martin DB5
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta
Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe
Audi Sports quattro S1
Nissan Fairlady Z 432

and the March 1st dealership cars were:

Porsche 356
Jaguar E-Type Coupe
Toyota Supra GT500
Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2
Alfa 155 2.5 V6

So if you have seen it, please provide prove, as seemingly noone else did.
Like I said, believe or don't believe me. I'm not going to comb through footage and articles.

Btw, reviewers had copies before the 23rd of Feb.

Guess I am the idiot here for doing that to counter-prove it while you just say "no it was there". I took a look at about 5 articles and 3 reviews, every screenshot, list or video that includes or shows the CLK LM is from the February State of Play showing the date as 17th December. I think you are mistaking that for reviewers having access to it while they just used that footage.

Yep. 22nd February in fact.

Best I can do is February 27th:

Bump that. I was wanting it to pit the CLK versus the Porsche, but forget it.

Bet the economy gets adjusted for the better when the CLK disappears.
There are plenty of cars to come just as/more expensive than the CLK, lol. Guessing they'll wait for the 250 GTO to pass before buffing the economy given it will be the most expensive, aside from maybe the Mercedes S Barker, but there won't be a fraction of the lust for it as the GTO so its price isn't as important. The Barker is the car you pick up once you already have everything to complete the collection since there won't be any races to use it in (prove me wrong PD! But you'll need to add some more ~100yo vehicles to compete against it)

it's even cheaper than what we thought (8.5 mil)
We've known the price was 8.5mil for a month or more, or at least it was out there if one wanted to find it for a while. But I'm quite happy to see it drop myself! Now we just need some content where it can be used, lol

Really. I was looking and didn't see anything to use it in as-is. Even with RH tires on it's still ~820PP. I'm going to detune it and run it in the WTC 800 and see how it goes.

Quick trip around Spa... she handles great!

I’ve seen it in arcade mode races keeping up with cars like the GR86, 300SL, and Integra Type R.

Watching the replays, the car redlines at about 3,500rpm but it’s supercharged engine has enough torque to do 0-60 in about 7-8 seconds.

Of course we don’t currently know how much tuning we can do to it but I seriously can’t wait to buy it as soon as it’s available. I’ve been holding onto 20 million for it.

Nice! Is that what the stock PP is, around 820? I was thinking it would be 900 or more... I know it's not an LMP1 class but in previous games it could run with the LMP1's and be competitive. Maybe I'm just thinking of the Sauber and mixing it up in my head, idk. Whether it slots into Gr. 2 or Gr.1 it should at least have a home unlike some of the other race cars we have.
Can't wait to try it out! Playing Elden Ring and am stuck on a boss that will not die but I might just have to shut it down to grab this beauty, lol.

Now I only have the F1 GTR and 787B and I can pretty much stop grinding for LCD cars for the time being... What a relief that will be

@05XR8 I did the exact same thing with that Ford GTE! Wasn't really paying attention and just quickly clicked through to buy it and couldn't figure out where I lost 550k credits... I've no idea why that one Gr. 3 is so much more expensive, though if the F1 GTR is in the same class as Sport that's going to be 18-20mil for a car that will get beat-down by the BoP in daily races. We need more racing categories instead of squeezing everything into the closest fit. Been wanting to buy the P1 GTR but it's not even considered a group 1 so it must be in that same nebulous "track" category the Pagani Zonda R and FXX falls into, and if so they need their own proper category.

@Volksauto Huh, I assumed it was going to weigh like 6000lbs (lol) and wouldn't be competitive with the cars we have from the 50's/early 60's like the 356's, 300SL's, 250 GT, etc. That would be a cool class to put it in if it's competitive, so maybe I've been underestimating it. Thanks for the info

As much as I want that CLK, I cannot and will not afford it. The Ferrari GTO was 2,500,000 cr. and I only managed to buy it because PD gifted those credits as compensation while I simultaneously received a bag of gold bars from a daily ticket. No such luck now. :grumpy:

Yay, now hopefully everyone can get back to their regular bitching about the economy. This was a nice distraction, I will admit.

There you go.

YES YES YES!!! Done & done... and it's even cheaper than what we thought (8.5 mil). This just breathed new life into the game for me, let's go!
Wait, I was wrong about the price and what you said was correct. When you had 8.5 listed I assumed you meant the current price, but when I finally logged in and bought it a second ago I see it is 6.25mil. Never should have corrected you; sorry for that!

@SuperSportX Depends on downforce options and handling of the F1 GTR in this engine. I'm guessing they'll be pretty evenly matched, and both will have a tough time against the Gr. 2 Raybrig NSX on fast courses and the modern Lexus Gr. 2 will probably be a tough opponent on slower, more technical courses (assuming it's as planted as it was in Sport; I've not driven it in GT7 yet). Group 2 should be pretty evenly matched amongst those vehicles, but the GT500 cars will certainly struggle. They really need their own category (and a return of the GT300 cars from the past would be nice while they're at it!)

I have bought AMG CLK-LM '98, cos my fav class was Gr2 in GT Sport, and I was interested in the best car in this class.
I tested this car in 3 events (hard difficulty):
WTC800 Dragon Trail - easy win (also I made 2 mistakes)
WTC800 Maggiore - easy win (without big mistakes)
WTC800 Daytona - only 5th place. The speed is too low. I tried to make only 1 pit-stop, and it didn't work at all. My temp was like Corvette C7 Gr3

My settings were easy
ballast - 4kg
Max power 92%
Restrictor - 92%

PP - 799,89
Weight - 944kg

I used fuel economy in all events (3-4 level, sometimes even 6) to make only one pit-stop.

I like this car, it's easy to drive. But the engine sound is not cool at all. Sounds like other cars.

The pricing seems about right, I couldn't find how much a sold CLK-LM went for but 6-8 million sounds about right seeing how much GT1 era cars are/were going for and a Sauber C9 was listed in 2020 but I couldn't find how much it sold if it even did, though in 2017 one sold for 2,2 million.

I assume the McLarens will go for between 10-15 million with the Longtail being the more expensive of the two.

This is a list of the cars we have yet to see appear in the LCD. Please correct me if I missed one or if I included a car that has already appeared. Some of these cars might instead show up in the UCD such as the Corvette C3 hardtop.
