Wow. It just doesn't get much more blatant than that. Stern OK'd Blake for offensive foul + over-the-back on dunks, apparently. What a joke of a league. They should have called a foul on Gasol for fouling the floor, while they are at it.

That's the one I was talking about yesterday, it's mental. Mad props to Gasol for not starting a fight in that game, I know I'd be pretty enraged if someone was illegally making me look the fool.

Griffin grabs the top 2 highlights of the day with one the most blatant over the back rebound I've ever seen and the other smashing Gasol in the head so he can dunk on him.

My bad, I missed that. :ouch: But talk about seeing is believing.

While I respect your stance on not fighting, or starting altercation, as I posted earlier of Andre Miller video, sometimes you just have to give the punk the taste of his own medicine. That video said that Griffin stopped pushing after getting knocked on his ass, and that indeed was the case.

In the NBA, it is the understanding, or unspoken rule that "enforcer" of the team hand out retribution. Lakers have Bynum, but I guess he's just a cheapshot artist(himself lol). After the second foul(not according to NBA, but by us), IMO, Gasol should have done something to cause hard & sharp pain to Griffin in the paint. I'll be honest with you, if he did that to me, Griffin might end up needing his second knee surgery. easy for me to say, as they don't pay me millions. lol

God, maybe I played too much playground ball, but Griffin is just a punk, and Gasol, damn it Gasol! :dopey:

I don't have a non-fighting stance, I'm just saying Gasol must have a huge level of self control because I'd be getting awful physical after that.

Ah, alright.

When I used to play pick up ball, I played clean. But when somebody's blatantly dirty, or nasty, I'm not gonna lie, my temper got the best of me.

It was 96-80 as the New York Knicks blew out the Orlando Magic in Orlando, and 93-86 as Chicago held off Boston in Chi-town. I have to imagine there are some unimpressed Magic fans after this loss. I think I even heard fans cheering for the Knicks. I mean- Dwight Howard wanted Stan Van Gundy fired... it's a mess down in Orlando with the Magic.

Other results: 99-94, Detroit over Washington in Detroit; 93-85 Clippers win on the road at the Sacramento Kings.

Orlando should have traded Dwight when they had the chance, Van Gundy is a good coach, and Howard will never become a great player unless he can make free-throws.

Dwight signed off on eliminating the opt-out clause, right? Unless Dwight & his agent is mentally retarded, there was something in it for them to waive the opt-out. Probably trade-restriction clause, if I may guess oh so wildly. Along the lines of, if Magic personnel(roster/coaching) doesn't shape up to Dwight's satisfaction this off-season, he may demand a trade, or Magic may trade him, but to the Nets, Lakers, or whatever list he's come up with.

Believe it or not, Portland Trail Blazers is not on that list. We have Raymond Felton. He's missing out! worst playmaker, all-time.

Is Felton worse than Uzoh? We have him on a 10day contract, and once he reaches the front court he freezes and doesn't know what to do. Occasionally he'll get some dribble penetration but try and finish himself with spectacularly non-scoring results every time. With Bayless out, Mills would have been a better option than Uzoh, plus very exciting for me.

I haven't even been following the Blazers that much this year, and that's because Felton, who I used to really like(because he was their point guard) is now starting for our team.

Yes, I'd take Patty over Felton, and you do remember how big of a Patty fan I was last season?

If Nash or CP3's nickname was Patty, then I'd agree......

:P

What is this about 2K12 though? :odd:

Patty is awesome, I wish I could still play with him on 2K12 though :(

Heh heh, lucky for me I started MyPlayer before the roster updates, so every time I play MyPlayer when I exit the rosters are reset and I was able to grab Mills for a MyLegend mode.

Mills was cut from the game with the roster updates.

I don't know when the next update is, but he should be back on then, yeah?

I haven't heard of him signing with any new teams.

Edit: WHAT?! Mills is on the Spurs and averaging 9.0ppg in 3 games thus far.

Bloody hell... are the Los Angeles Lakers like, Special Needs children or something? So many calls went in the Lakers favor as my Rockets played at the Lakers. Like touching the Lakers automatically warrants a foul against you. So what's the best way to shut the Lakers up? Beat them AND the passive refs. And that's what we did- 112-107. Andrew Bynum picked up two more Technical Fouls and was ejected. But man... Goran Dragic was money in the bank for the Rockets. So was Chandler Parsons, too.

Congratulations if your team(s) won tonight as well.

Oh yeah, in his first game for the Spurs, he blasted 20 points in 20 minutes aganist the Cavs. He also scored 14 in the 128-103 win against the Hornets. :indiff:

Sorry, Spacegoat. :P

Sad news if you're a Magic fan (or MORE sad news)- Hedo Turkoglu is out for about three weeks with a facial fracture. He's supposed to have surgery today for his facial fracture. The Magic will be in Philly tonight to take on the 76ers. They (Orlando) is 3rd in the Southeast Division with a 32-23 record.

My Rockets are off tonight, but we have a back-to-back starting Sunday night in Sacramento followed by at Portland the night after. All the Rockets can do is keep winning to help their playoff chances. San Antonio may well win the Southwest Division along with Oklahoma City getting the Northwest Division.

Chicago, Miami, and Oklahoma City have all clinched playoff spots. More and more teams will clinch as this regular season nears the end.

I can't believe the Raptors lost to the Cavs yesterday. After the Cavs coach was ejected in the 2nd quarter and Toronto had a 12pt lead heading in to the 4th, I figured it was all but done. But no, they decided to be crap for 12mins and lost the game.
My NBL (Australian league) team also lost the semis last night with a pathetic showing.

Yay, at least the Hornets can beat the timberwolves :D
Wow, Eric Gordon is back from injury?

Ahh well Paulie, pretty sure the Sydney Kings aren't going so well this year in the NBL

Well I would prefer the Brisbane Bullets but they're not even in it.:sly: Apparently it's looking unlikely now for next season as well.:indiff: I'd have thought the Kings would have done better with arguably the 2 best big men in the league in Kazzouh and Grant, I guess they need a better point guard.
Now that Mills is on the Spurs I kind of hope they win the championship to get him a ring.:sly:

The Rockets have a back-to-back in trying to stay in the playoff hunt. At the Kings today followed by at Portland tomorrow night. Lot of other games going on, so enjoy some Easter NBA basketball today!

Oh yeah, the Thunder embarassed Toronto today, and Mills had a shocker for the Spurs.

He used the pinky, huh? I didn't know Patty had it in him(now it's in the other team, apparently). :P

Number Eleven! :D:tup:

The Rockets took down the Kings 104-86. Kyle Lowry returned and did pretty doggone well. Up next is the back end of our back-to-back as we head up to the NBA's only remaining Pacific Northwest team (unless another Seattle (or even Vancouver) franchise comes along)- Portland. Glad the Rockets didn't take the at Kings game to be a trap game.
