Alright, tried Praiano's tune for the 905 and all I can say is WOW, lol. How in the world he drives that car with that tune is beyond me, lol. No disrespect to him (I say this all in a joking and lighthearted manner) as he is a great tuner and also a friend of mine but that tune does not work at all for my driving style. He took away all the downforce (56/50) in order to meet the pp requirements which is what made it undriveable for me. I did however use his as a base and went another route. I added ballast which made it better for me along with some other changes. As of now, I'm in 198th with a time of 1:55.289. Here is the tune I came up with. (still tweeking)

I've just used your 905 and wow, that's amazing! I was struggling at 1.55.035 with the r8 ps race car, but I've just used your tune on my 905 and after 2 laps already taken 2 tenths off it! Thanks for the tune, really good!

Edit: 4th lap now a 1.54.635!

Been able to do a first quick session on the ring with the 2J, still getting used to the car it has a weird handling

Using MrP tune as a base tune(thx for posting Ron)

after a 2nd complete lap, 6:06.639, 10th place so far, from the other attempts i had later i can see a low 6:05 high 6:04 possible, but i need to sleep before even trying
Will post my tune when im finished with it, still tweaking.

Cool, glad to see you getting good use out of it and nice time there also. I just switched over to manual so I should be able to shave some more time off. I always start off in automatic while I'm tuning so I don't have to be bothered by shifting and I can concentrate on the handling part. Now in manual and still making small adjustments here and there. Finally getting this beast tamed, lol. Good luck to you and appreciate the compliment. Peace.

Couldnt wait to sleep, decided to give another try,slowly getting there, im getting closer to the limit of the setup, i know where to improve but the car is tricky to drive, will retest later if i have some times.

the 2J is not the kind of car i drive normaly, your tune was good starting point , for me it just felt it had too strong diff setting. i soften them but raised the front to give more turn in, i hope you will like it, it also depend of the driving style so it might not work for everyone .

edit: i forgot to say the car is shared by Kildore, thx! and it has a rigidity enhancement part on it(sorry dont know the part name in english) i dont know if it would be slower or faster without it.

Edited Rear Camber on my setup slightly from 0.8 to 1.0. Not much of a difference but does provide a bit more traction in certain spots. Might up it to 1.2 if I see it's better. 1.0 for now.

Anyways, kinda lost will to play GT5 due to me abusing Metal Gear Solid HD Collection but I don't see myself going lower than 6'05 in theory, unless some of the tunes posted here are indeed magical.
But anyways, next week's WRS is about to be posted tomorrow so guess where my seat time's gonna go.

For the WRS, since christmas we are overloaded at the job, i do between 50-60 hours per week sometimes more, most of time when i post in a thread its from my phone during a break or lunch time, i dont have a lot of time unfortunatly, its nice for the $$ but my hobbies are put aside,

the ring is okay since i know the track well, but i cant put enought effort into a WRS event to be satisfied or keep a decent handicap until we are able to deliver all our project in time.
In July i should be able to have my life back lol

Finally landed a decent lap..though still full of time to be made up. Second in the US for now but I should be able to grab the top spot with a bit of work..Also, I see you right below me Gerchu, I'm coming for you !

Ironed out a preliminary set of gears that seemed to do well for me, except for third. I had it good prior to my run but changed and screwed myself out of a good .200's. Reverted back to original 3rd.

Into the top 500 (486) on the Spa TT with a 1:56 something in the Audi Playstation Team Oreca R8 '05. It's a good car, but I'm not sure I can go much further with the setup I have. It's hesitant to turn in, and struggles to put the power down a bit. Tried with the Nissan R89C and could only squeeze a 1:58 out of it, although it did seem to have more power in a straight line. Next up - the Toyota GT One.
