Zoky took P1, congrats and well done!
Thanks, with current setup I see a mid to low 6'01 but who knows this is Nurb afterall....still haven't tested the car with turbo2 or turbo3 pack if it's faster or not?....also I dont' know how mike got 502bhp....mine has only 495 at 68.9% power?

Also many thanks to Ron and mike for sharing setups!

Well done Zoky! Amazing laptime

I also only get 495 at 68.9 % :dopey:

The turbo stages 2-3 give lower HP for the 600PP, if I remember correctly the stock turbo is the best option. The car mike uses is online on my account if you want to give it a go. 👍 Grats on P1!

Into the top 500 (486) on the Spa TT with a 1:56 something in the Audi Playstation Team Oreca R8 '05. It's a good car, but I'm not sure I can go much further with the setup I have. It's hesitant to turn in, and struggles to put the power down a bit. Tried with the Nissan R89C and could only squeeze a 1:58 out of it, although it did seem to have more power in a straight line. Next up - the Toyota GT One.

I'm currently sitting @ 230 @ Spa with a 1:55.736 using the Bentley Speed 8. There is more time in it just purely in the driving.......but I have not done any setup work on the car........Seems pretty driveable.....not sure I'm going to do anything other than refine my driving a little. First time I've made the top 250.

I'm satisfied so far.

Rob

Mine read higher but i think its because of bhp to hp rating, something like that, i always have higher reading than european version of GT5 from what i seen in the WRS.

Congratulations on your lap Zoky! well done 👍
I hope to be able to run it again today and try the car without rigidity as well, theres less than 1 second to shave,... but its still miles away, from my point of view haha! lol

Goodluck Timppaq and CICO! :)

edit: GTmaniac the car will be faster and carry more power at a higher rpm when you keep the power limiter higher for the same PP, thats why it is better to run it with the dirty oil. you can try it, look the power and torque rating and the rpm at 100% power limiter, then put it at 50%, the power drop as well as the rpm range.

Nürburgring TT with Audi R8 LMS (Team Playstation) in 6:30. Good lap, I thought. Have no intention of running a 2J like everyone else. The R8 is at least a car that doesn't need to be down-tuned for 600PP.

If anything, this TT shows that the 2J has way too much PP.

Ain't getting more then 18k points @ DT Route 5, using Blitz ER34.
Someone out there with a setup for me? Thx

Alright, tried Praiano's tune for the 905 and all I can say is WOW, lol. How in the world he drives that car with that tune is beyond me, lol. No disrespect to him (I say this all in a joking and lighthearted manner) as he is a great tuner and also a friend of mine but that tune does not work at all for my driving style. He took away all the downforce (56/50) in order to meet the pp requirements which is what made it undriveable for me. I did however use his as a base and went another route. I added ballast which made it better for me along with some other changes. As of now, I'm in 198th with a time of 1:55.289. Here is the tune I came up with. (still tweeking)
700pp
916hp
900kg.
99.7% on the power limiter
AERO 60/85
BALLAST 150/50
LSD 10/8/8
RH 10/-15
SR 11.0/11.5
EXT 9/3
COMP 9/4

Top speed at the top of 230mph.
Hope this is of help to anyone using this car.

Hmm... is there more than one version of the 905 in the game? I'd like to try your tune, but my gear ratios for 1st and 2nd don't allow for the values you posted. My power also maxes out at 892HP.

Have you tried oil change? And installed all performance parts?

I see there's the Takata Dome NSX in the top 250 Nürburgring. I'm 14 seconds down on him but can't find more than another 2 seconds at most (6:36.9) with my stealth NSX.

Anyone care to share a tune?

Other than that I'm pretty pleased with myself.

There is just one 905. Set gear ratios like this:
Reset
FG all the way right
TS all the way left
Set gear ratios
Set FG again to where I have it
As far as hp, I'm running dirty oil. No oil change at all. I also improved my time alittle to 1:55.708 with some adjustments.
ARB 7/6
CAMBER 0.8/0.5
TOE -0.10/0.16
Car feels alot more stable now. I just have to nail a few of the corners down and I should be able to crack the top 100. Also, I'm still driving in auto. Haven't switched to manual yet as I'm still messing with the setup. Once I switch to manual, I should pick up more time. Peace.

Don't feel bad. The best I've been able to do is 6:35.451 in the Ford GT LM Spec II Test car. Good for 3045th (for the time being).

Thanks - my 905 only has 200 miles on it, so maybe I just need to run it a little more in a few normal races to break in the engine.. I already tried an oil change (and engine refresh), but am unable to since the engine's still too new.

In any case, I did set them as close as I could to your tune, and it's definitely an improvement over my own setup - the car feels very stable and easier to control. I've gotten my time down to 1:58 flat, and may be able to shave off another second at most. Not great, but it's about as fast as my driving skill will take me.

thx

The thing is, you do not want to do an oil change at all, not even when the car is new. Use the oil that comes in the car and run up the miles. My car has over 9,000 miles on it.

Try this website for all conversions: http://www.peters1.dk/webtools/conversion.php?sprog=en
Sometimes I use this one (looks nicer): http://www.worldwidemetric.com/Measurements.html
As a CNC machinist I find them handy on occasion when I can't remember the conversion factor.

Have you got the stage 3 turbo on it? I know it's stupid but I didn't lol! I'm up to 61 with this tune and I know there's another few tenths in it, keep going boys don't give up!

I'm really quite pleased with myself. I don't run TTs competitively and haven't done too much to my NSX. A 6:35 would be a quite satisfactory time indeed. I might give the GT a try too :)

I finally showed the Nurburgring who's the boss lol

Got my time down to 6'11.971 ...which makes me the 5th American on the leaderboards :D

I figured out where I could gain time on the 1st sector, that helped hehe

Yes, stage 3 turbo is on it. Also, just adjusted the LSD settings to 12/10/7. Made quite a bit of a difference for me. Still having a problem with one of the turns. It seems that everyone else can take it all full throttle but I have to let off and thats where I'm losing my time at. I don't think I'm entering it right. Its the fast right hander after the slow right hander toward the end. I get that perfected, I'll be golden.

6:11.460
Finally landed a decent lap..though still full of time to be made up. Second in the US for now but I should be able to grab the top spot with a bit of work..Also, I see you right below me Gerchu, I'm coming for you :) !

Make it 3rd now ;)

DS3- 6.10.813

The best in the U.S. is just a few hundredths above us. I reckon you, me or doodle can tackle him down.

I left about a second in total on the course, but to capture it takes so much patience and re-runs that I don't think I want to even attempt it! lol

I have lots of time left in the run, at least a second in the first section (By first section I mean after all the high speed stuff) alone so..All it's gonna take is one good run but I'm a bit short on time lately so..Eventually I'll be hunting you Americans DOWN - Congrats on your run. Now that I've got my transmission all worked out, it should all go a bit smoother for me.

I understand. This time trial is very time-consuming. With college, work, and homework, video games have to take the back seat.

I wish so badly that we could take copy and paste our best sections and add up the total time like that. If only! It would be so much easier:tup:
