Who is the NFL's most overrated coach? If you guess Rex Ryan (NYJ), then you're absolutely right according to a poll by Sporting News in a poll from 103 players from 27 teams. He won by miles (35 votes) over the likes of Bill Belichick (16 votes), Andy Reid (9 votes), and Mike Shannahan (8 votes). To see the full list, check this link out:

What do you make of this?

Bill Belichick is the furthest thing from overrated. Winning three super bowls and going to four in your tenure does not incur that title. Hall of fame maybe.

I'd say Rex Ryan because he talks the talk but hardly walks it, let alone wobble it. Andy Reid maybe sitting at home this offseason playing Madden with Vick after he gets fired.

Rex Ryan is a media whore. He seems to do anything to bring attention to him and his sqaud, positive or negative.

As for the flip side, how about underrated coaches?

My canidate is Gary Kubiak. The man has been through it all, from Houston's crap days in the mid-2000s to now. And he has stayed a quiet and patient leader through it. Others would be Mike Tomlin and Marvin Lewis, if you ask me.

Wow... I wasn't expecting a Gary Kubiak comment in the underrated discussion. I still remember how fans wanted Kubiak gone. What happened since? Ballin'. That's what. But yeah, underrated severely.

Any more thoughts on the overrated coach poll?

I liked what he did in Arizona as well. That Bolden, Fitzgerald, Warner unit was pretty awesome on that superbowl run. He's one of my favorite sideline personalities, too. I wish he'd done better in KC.

We love him in Pitt! I hope he stays here!

Anyone think the Raiders can upset the Ravens? I think they CAN, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Ravens @ Steelers, when we both likely are coming off of wins, will pretty much determine the winner of the AFCN.

Most overrated coach is Jeff fisher

After the Redskins embarrassing loss to the Panthers on Sunday, which saw the secondary get shredded by Cam Newton, Mike Shanahan stated that he will be evaluating talent for next season and beyond. I like this move, it doesn't necessary mean that he has thrown in the towel as the media is trying to portray, but it gets the players knowing that they have to step it up or they're not going to be back.

I see little wrong with our offense, we have a quarterback and a strong running back. We could use a couple new receivers, maybe a tight end, and some more blocking, but we have improved greatly in terms of offense.

The defense has gotten severely worse. The loss of Landry to the Jets, and injuries to Carriker and Orakpo, as well as injuries suffered by Bernstine and Merriweather have greatly affected the pass defense of my beloved team. I know Jim Haslett can not be blamed for all the problems our defense are facing, but it's obvious that his game planning has failed to say the least. Even in the 3 games they won, the defense was less than stellar.

Redskins man. Everyone around here is so dissapointed.

RG3 and Morris are all that the 'Skins have on O *I personally LOVE Morris*, they need almost a whole new WR corp *Keep Moss and Garcon, rest need to step up or go*, fresher TE's *Cooley can't do it all*, and a better O line *I know all about ****ty O lines...*.

'Skins D is even worse. Other than LB's *they're just hurt*, the SUCK. Plain and simple. Scrap it and restart.

The AFC South is on parade tonight as the Indianapolis Colts (It's still sad that a team in Indiana is in a "Southern" conference or division) will travel down to Northern Florida to hook up with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Marquee game this weekend for the AFC South is the game that could be like a Super Bowl preview- as my Texans will be at the Bears on Sunday night. Still, it will be nice to see the Colts and Jags tackle each others' brains out. :)

Good luck to all of your team(s) this weekend, and especially to IND and JAX tonight.

Definitely my bet for the superbowl match-up too.

Pittsburgh have gone slightly under the radar but their hooking up some results and I think they're a real dark-horse.

New England vs Texans for the AFC though.
Bears vs 49ers for the NFC.

Steelers have been under the radar since '09. No respect due to a few fluky games.

I don't think I've seen anything like it...Indy (will likely be) 6-3! How does a team go from rock bottom all the way to playoff contention in one year, with mainly old dudes, Luck, and a bunch of late rounders? I know Pagano is recovering from luekemia, but wow, I am impressed with Indy.
