Yeah that Cobra will be nice with a refreshed engine/chassis. If however, you like the cobra and would rather keep it give me any ticket you have left.

You got the other chips though, correct? Yeah, GT5 will gift whatever paint chip the car was purchased with (if it's a possible chip, anyways). I believe I bought that one to finish my Viper collection of chips .

Well, I have extra tickets through my main PSN account (my GTP_ account is only for GT, the other is for everything), so for the purpose of competitions, I've been making use of the backup trick so that prizes can flow. Long-term, I actually plan on having yet another account, exclusively for prize handouts

Well, I use my Colour Database Excel file to keep track - in game, on my main GTP account, it says I have 1600-something, but that's not an accurate number. But uh, even then... it takes a long, long while, wish they'd let the paint screen permanently stay in some sort of sorted form

Alright, Revolution.'s secret car was just sent, I'm just adding Jason~Bourne to send him his prize, and chromatic9 will be receiving his tomorrow. I have yet to hear from Lacoster or Abraxas about theirs, but as they both are the only ones left in their groups, I know what is theirs if they want it!

As for this week - ashes619 and Gtuned, while your cars will be indentically prepared, and a bit slower than the two I offered to this group, you still both get a choice. The choices are: Evolution Orange Mica, Radiant Ebony Mica, Combination A Artvin Red Mica, or Combination B Excellent Green Mica. Choose one each

Hello all - before I get to posting this week's round of threads, I thought I'd first bump this up to the top for a different, important reason: atlop, due to that whole pesky real life thing, is going to have to hand off the CCCL hosting duties. Instead of the rest of us hosts head-hunting, we're posting this up here for people to come forward if they're interested. What will you need?

• Relative proficiency in Photoshop. Nothing crazy - you just have to be able to fit last week's winning image in each new week's header image, and the fonts used with the Official comps can be provided. My templates are also provided.
• About an hour or so a week (Sundays) to create your threads, both the poll (which we can walk you through as it's a fiddly thing) and the new week's thread.
• (Preferably) a good chunk of time under your belt in this little portion of GTP, so that you're familiar with how the community runs and we know you'll be around dependably.

Interested parties can send their resumés, er... wait. If you're interested, post in this thread, and we'll be going over the next host choice within the week!

I don't want to sound like a drag, but could we please have like a 2.0 competition, but for the people who don't have GT5? As last time I hosted a 2.0 comp in GT4, I only got 3 entries (including me). It would be really good to see how I compare to other people who have Photoshop but roam around here.

EDIT: What I mean is this: People could "donate" pictures so we could have a competition of other people's GT5 pictures (everyone has the same one) and we could edit it. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't think you'll see many people intentionally limiting themselves, if they own both the current game and GT4. We're missing out on some quality tracks and locations, sure, but the amount of cleanup needed in GT4 is a huge drawback, since a good chunk of it is minimized in GT5 with its far superior lighting. You're more than welcome to continue posting 2.0 threads back in the GT4 section, but I don't think you'll see many people wanting to move backwards... best to grab those people who just don't have GT5

Okay, sweet. It's just that I like doing GT4 editing, but there is not much people that enter 2.0 in GT4, and it's a shame to have to limit our selves to our galleries or have polls with 3 people. Thanks for the reply.
