Actually, yes.

Well I'm sorry if I don't agree with your views Swift. Take Bill's advice and ignore the problem...

I think the point the mad hatter was trying to make was that by conforming to those in power ...the nazi party..or to the views of the majority in power , the people allowed the holocaust WW2 and all other kinds of nastyness to happen.

And thats why white pudding is better than the rest .

ALL HAIL THE EVIL COS !  BOW DOWN BEFORE THE JELLO !!

Why is it just because none else but black people can win anything?

At the MTV video music awards black people hardly won anyhting even though rnb and hip hop sells more records than all other genres combined and people such as 50 cent havent won anyhting (love him or hate him but he is the highest selling artist in recent times and no one has come close to him in recent years and even though hes so popular the man cant win anyhting).

Tell that to eminem ...do you even know any black people ? Have you actually hung out with any ? Got to know them as people ? I am just curiouse so dont take it the wrong way . It seems you develope your opinion based on tv. Or media .

Your wrong about the numbers.( all approx)
Rap / hip hop has 12%
Rock has 24%
country 10%
R&B is 9%

Could it be the awards mirror the numbers ?
At any rate you either cant count , are bad with percentages , assume things and have bad judgement . Or you know something no one else does .

Man why do you guys whine so much. Lets face it it in the modern world in a modern country if your white your better off.

Totally 100% beside the point (...but I'd like to see you prove that white people are better off due to descrimination ). I don't care who is better off. Racism is bad regardless of who is doing it.

First of all you will be in a shock soon enough.
Secondly I live in the south east of london which is the most cultural diverse part of london in a city which is the most culturally diverse in the world.

As for the music figures under rock they seem to connect punk and metal or whatever you call it. RnB hip hop and rap all should go under one has most songs combine all three of those elements nowadays. Also wheres tthe pop figures as many of the so called music experst seem to put people such as usher under the pop section. Also of all the muscicieans in the world who are the richest. It used to be that british geezer but Rnb/hiphop/rap artists have taken over. Just look at the aftermath label and all the the sub labels of afthermath they must be worthatleast 500mill minimum.

Eminem has maybe sold overall more records but never at one time has he sold 20 million records for one album which 50 cent has done in a time which it is harder to do as more and more people get broadband and download illegally yet eminem still won more awards than dr.dre abd all of g-unit put together.

And we all know that Dr.Dre is behind each of their success.

Eminem is the guy who discovered fiddy . They have BOTH made a fortune off 'ol fiddy .

The black community is extremely diverse here in the US . It has its own internal " class " system . it seems when you talk about it they come off as a steryotype. I didnt think that was possibile if you live with or have gotten to know people from that segment of society . In my experiance they wont let you get away with it . Nor would you want to . Thats my biggest problem though with rap . It plays on and profits from the steryotypes and young people who do not know better think its the way things are instead of a parody . Its all about cashing in on reality ( Rap & hip hop) on some levels . Making the man pay for his ignorance. But at what cost ?

Ok, I see the BET. But i'm not sure about the United Negro College fund. If it's private(and I think it is) then who are we to say can and can't get that money? But if it's government supported, then that's bad.

I don't know if it's private or not. I didn't look into it.

If you're a non-black guy who laughs at the stereotypes portrayed on the Chappelle Show, is it because you think it's true?

You know what, if your not the race of the stereotype portrayed in any racial joke you hear or see, do you still laugh at the joke because you think it's true?

Now that's subtle.

No, I laugh at the joke because I know it is not true and because I am aware that people like Dave Chappelle take stereotypes and then combine and exagerate them. I also laugh at the stiff, serious white people impersonations he makes.

It is the same reasons I laugh at Archie Bunker to this day, because I know it is an exagerated parody of all the worst in white America. It isn't true about any one man. He combines multiple extremist views and attitudes to make one funny character that doesn't exist in any form.

Jokes about Canadians always turn out to be true though. :odd:

Almost all jokes come from some form of truth. That doesn't make them good jokes. Now, I talk racial jokes with my friends all the time. But ONLY with friends, never with people that I'm just meeting or an aquintance with.

That's just the thing. It's a very exaggerated view.. It's a caricature if you will. It's supposed to be funny because it might have some hint of truth in reality but takes that and runs with it to the extreme.

I laugh at the black, white, brown, yellow, and red impressions that I've seen. I think they can all be funny, and all rooted in truth, but none of them are accurate.

I think everyone has that one uncle that embodies those extremes :sly:

Nothing quite like the uncle who got drunk Christmas morning and couldn't make it to the family thing at 10 AM because of it. 👍

ALL my uncles get drunk Christmas morning. Drinking till 4 AM is technically in the morning. That's not even an exaggeration. Christmas eve is just an excuse to have a family gathering and get three sheets to the wind.

Today, my friend got into an arguement with a Pakistani boy, my friend called the boy a "Paki" and the Pakistani boy called my friend "White scum".

Only my friend was punished for this, not the other boy.

I'm assuming this happened in school. Well, Paki isn't an insult if he is Pakistani. Now, of course I'm sure it was said in a very deragatory manner. Regardless, either they both should've been punished or neither.

If the white kid was the first one to come out with the racist remark then I think that was fair. The pakistani boy only defended himself and tried to save face in what is probably a mainly white school seeing as you live in yorkshire. The boy is scum for turning racist and really what the pakistani boy said back to him was a hald hearted effort as he could have just called him a bigoted scummy h**ky.

So as long as someone else starts throwing racial slurs first it's ok? Come on. If someone is stupid enough to call me "ni**er" and I respond with a racial slur, how does that make me any less guilty then the person that started it? We're not talking about throwing fists here, but words. I know words can hurt, but it's still stupid to racially insult someone that has insulted you.

I'm assuming you've never heard of Bradford?

Or Leeds, for that matter.

Or in fact almost all of West Yorkshire.

London does not have a monopoly on multiculturalism. It's not even close to Leeds/Bradford.

Yeah I know but this is on a school play ground and for all we know this pakistani boy is getting abused or bullied and so his situation is different as he tries to stand his ground.

Obviously if he was a man then I doubt he would even stand there arguing with him but i can fully understand why a teacher would not punish him.

I'm sorry, but that's junk. I grew up in a 98% white school and if I got in an argument and we started saying racial things we BOTH got in trouble. Because that's how it should be. By saying the pakistani kid is "justified" because everyone else is white is even more of a racist view then the white kid calling him "paki"

It's true, there is an equal, if not greater number of asian children attending my school.
Thing is, there seems to be a divide between us.

And the "Ethnic Majority" has become a thing of jokes.

In my school there was a divide and it sure wasnt cause of the non whites. My school was mainly white,

Over the years I even heard a group of so called friends make fun of ther black freinds big lips and nose.

Who heard about a black 5 year old who on his first day at a all white school was tanuted by the other kids about his skin and askin him if it washed off and lashed out.

Young Warrior, feel free to respond to this,

Here's the quick and easy test to see if the teacher responded correctly. Would she have done the same if it were two white students? Or two pakistani students?

If the answer is yes, then fine. If not, then the response is racially motivated and is a problem.

Guy #1 "Hey you honky bastard."
Guy #2 "Cracker Sum!!!!"
