Wonder how FM6 compares to FM4 Career, anybody completed FM6?:D, I'm currently in the Ultimate Motorsports Volume, still need to complete the Showcase Events. FM4 had the World Tour & Events List (encompassing 310 events). Is there a percentage of completion, not seeing it in the profile stats.
 
God, the more I hear about this game, the more I need it. Haven't had a Forza game since 3. II don't even have an X-Bone.

Still wanted to get a PS4 eventually too, but that's a big expense.

Worth it, guys? I need advice.

I think it's absolutely worth it, enough so I'm passing on the PS4. I really only play race games on console and there are plenty on the Xbox.

I bought an Xbox One for Forza 6 and I don't regret it. It's not as polished all around as I had hoped, but I can't see a racing game which has better value for the money right now. I'm really enjoying it and I hope my few gripes with it will be patched down the road.

F6 truly is incredible. This is coming from someone that disliked F5 very much. As a multi console gamer, I have never played a racing game anywhere near as good as F6. I posted a very long detailed review in the F6 reviews thread. The bottom line, if you like racing games, this is an experience that absolutely can not be missed. It is without a question, not only the best racing game in the Forza series, its simply the best racing game I have played. 24 cars, 1080p, 60FPS, 5,000 vinyls per car, night racing, rain racing with physics responding to the water puddles, along with much more. Its overwhelming how much is in this 1 game. Its truly the complete package.

If nothing else, try to find a friend with the X1 and check out the ENTIRE F6 demo from beginning to end. Including the night racing and weather racing. If you don't like the game after playing the entire demo, then you have your answer. Plus if you end up liking F6, you would most likely enjoy Forza Horizon 2. Another excellent game. I would just avoid F5.

I just fell in love with the Lamborghini Jalpa. I built a D class tune for it for the League and its doing absolutely wonderfully. It can be a little understeery on throttle, but it's turn in is great, and it hardly breaks traction. If anyone is interested, I'm going to upload it.
 
I"m going to be honest; I just completed the first league this morning. I've just had fun trying the cars on Test Drive mode to be honest. I'm also exploring some of the cars through Forza vista. In which leads me to a question; how is it that I can look at the engine of a Bentley Continental GT3 race car, but can't see the engine of a Nissan S13 Silvia?

To confirm this, I just ranked 9th in America on Nordschleife, behind six Mini's :lol:
 
If you want to try something different, try the Mercury Coupe. That car got some seriours potential. ;)
 
So the new B Class League lobby is open. I finished in 30th position in the beginner lobby so I am ranked in the Pinnacle B Class lobby. 'Great' I thought, 'I'll be up against fast, clean racers.' New game, same shoot. The vast majority of people I raced against had zero respect for other racers or the rules of racing. Missile cars, and quite happy to use you as their brake. Anyone who thought the new league mode was going to sort out the numpties looks like they have been mistaken.

Yeah give it time, game is not even out yet. (Only is Aus/NZ)

I don't think leagues will eradicate the crashers as thats virtually impossible for a public lobby on a console racer, I'm just hoping they minimize it atleast. Either way, it doesn't stop up from having good GTP races!
 
As someone who hasn't played Forza in a long time and has extremely minimal experience with painting cars, I have a question.

Let's say I wanna take the #93 Viper GTS-R (the red with white stripes version) and make it white with blue stripes. Can I quickly change the base to white and the stripes to blue, or do I have to repaint the entire car white and then re-add custom blue stripes?
 
Ahh that's somewhat frustrating. Does give me more practice, though, so there's that. And a large sense of reward, I suppose.
 
Yeah for sure. That car is a good starting point for getting familiar with the editor, simple shapes and letters, for the most part. There is a search function for logos, decals etc from the community so I am sure after awhile, the VP racing or mopar decals will already be made.
 
When I get the game, VIP and car pass tomorrow I should be able to get the fast and furious cars too right?
 
No, not those tier rewards; the up to 25M in credits for owning 300 cars across 4, FH, 5, and FH2, along with the Tier 8 '14 R18.
 
My guess is that if you've loaded up the game even once, you're out of luck (unless the game didn't save). It makes the most sense, anyway. So those that are just getting it tomorrow or the 18th should be fine. It probably works much like FM5 or FH2's loyalty rewards did: I got all of them, stacked up over time, when I picked up my One in May, after redeeming Rewards almost every month leading up to that.

I just hit Tier 9, so redeemed for this week's credits. Handy that it'll remain weekly.

I've found the leagues to be not quite as crashy-bashy as the usual online hoppers, but still too much so for my own taste

As mentioned above somewhere, hopefully a good proportion of the crashy-bashy gang will fade away sooner rather than later
 
Well, talk about score. Just picked up my copy of F6. Since I've been a member of EB Games here in Oz, I never utilized it until the Signature Edition of GT5 and the 15th Anniv GT6. To my surprise, the lovely young lady behind the counter goes to the back, comes back with my game in hand and says, "You also get the special V8 Supercars steel cover edition."
As far as I knew, only pre-orders got that book. I'm a happy man. See you all in a few days.
 
Got up a few minutes early this morning just so I could retake a position in a rival event. :lol:
Also found out I placed 94 out of 5,880 in League play. Won $985,000. I am guessing all the certified, non corner cutting, laps paid off. :D

Ty! I am absolutely shocked how many of my designs are being used already with just the VIP members. Most of these designs are just very basic designs I have thrown together in a few minutes but seem to be doing very well. After the 2nd or 3rd day of F6 being released, I already unlocked the medal for having over 500 designs used and another medal for 10 hours in the paint shop. Pretty sure it is up to at least 750 designs used after yesterday. Very rewarding. Been loving this game. Its absolutely consuming my life. Just like F4 did. :)

Maybe I'm being stupid and can't find it, but is there a way to search for user created vinyl groups to use on your own cars like the other forza games?

I was actually wondering the exact same thing. That is one feature I liked more about the storefront and auction house. Most of the time I use my own paint jobs but it would be nice to search for friends designs. I use my friends designs quite often. I know there is a search function, so maybe it is I there to search for a specific person?
