Looks like Cam-Am League is over. I finished 64th out of 2,259 people in Professional, received 977,500 credits for my troubles.

Looks like if I run Leagues again I'll be in Elite next time. Not sure how that's gonna work, my lap times are far from elite.

Now that were at the subject of visual blunders... Did they forget to model the paddle shifters for the Audi RS5? I've been looking at the steering wheel from several angles, but I can't see the shifters the driver reaches for.

Yeah I have the same card your talking about, it has to be called back of the pack. I really wasn't even looking for it. I've spent about 35 million on mods. The way it is now, with all the money from wheel spins, I find it's worth it from all the exp and driver level boosts you get from the 150k packs. Tonight's the first time I've spent a bunch on the 300k packs, that's where I found that one. The main reason I'm buying mods is for affinity mods. I'm trying to max all affinities, eventfully.. 👍
I've decided to try to max out my affinities as well, starting from A to Z.

Got Abarth from 6 to 23 tonight, just picked my favorite, went to Rivals and do a lap or two on every track until it's done. Took 5 hrs tonight, so seems like around 6-7 hrs to max affinity? Faster I imagine with tuned cars or cars faster than Class E.

I don't think it would take that long, the way to do it is use 3 100% or 60% affinity mods on a longer race. I was doing the endurance races quite a bit, but I'm starting to do longer free race events to mix it up, plus I only have a couple cars in the endurance race section that aren't maxed out. Two nights ago I did a 50 lap race at Daytona oval in the koenigsegg one:1, with some affinity mods. Only took 35 minutes or so and gained quite a few affinity levels, I want to say around 7. I only have 18 maxed out so far. Some of them will be a grind, the ones with only a couple not very fun cars to drive.

Earned 912,637 credits for finishing 107th/2,144 players in Elite Division. Brought me to 60.8 million credits. Now to wait until Monday for the Ferrari.

I race S class online, so with no mods and the total drive time to get to 25 is usually around 4-5 hours, total actual time is probably closer to 6 or 7 hours because of the time I spend in lobbies and loading screens. I find in rivals you can level up quicker if you run longer stints because of less time spent in loading screens.

Oddly enough I've still yet to reach level 10 with Ferrari, it seems I'm too busy driving Abarths, Volvos and Auto Unions to be driving them. Maybe one day...

My approach with what cars to tune is very similar to yours. I've mainly been sticking to A class recently, but I like to pick the oddballs. You get some wide results from all kinds of different cars, and it's always fun to bring a car that would seem like it would be outclassed, and end up winning. One favorite is an A-class Mazda Cosmo!

For rivals can you just let the time go after 1 lap like that old trick in fm5 and get a lot of money or do you have to do multiple laps?

That trick only worked because the top rival had a negative time. It will not work on this game.

The Cosmo is a certified leaderboard car, though! :P

I definitely am impressed with how close you can get seemingly different cars in this game, though. So long as it's in the lower classes, where cars are still fairly road-worthy, anyway. Looking at the Lime Rock board, who would have expected a Jalpa, Sagaris, Cosmo, Mitsubishi GTO, Integra, and a freakin' Fury to be within 0.4 seconds of each other?!

That trick only worked with the negative times, though. I haven't seen any of those floating around yet...

It is?! I'm so ashamed now  I never knew that, but I was definitely surprised with how well balanced it was in general.

It's very interesting, the small gap with the times. Even more so when go and compare the specs of each of the vehicles. The differences are so broad. There's lightweight, low-HP cars that you'd expect to be up there, but then there's the near 600hp~, 3000LB~ vehicles thrown in there too. The one that surprises me the most though, is that FF Integra. I did not expect that it would do as well as it did, hell I didn't even think an FF car would be competitive in such a high class. The Jalpa has not failed me so far, no matter what class I've thrown it in. It just looks god awful with the Forza Aero, though

These past two weeks have been dedicated to purchasing and tuning cars into A class with a base tune. If they manage to break 54, then I'll take the time and work a tune with it. Most of the time, these cars tend to work well on most other courses too, surprisingly.

I think the main reason the Integra does so well is the lack of torque. It makes it easier to get out of turns cleanly. Also, it's a fairly tail-happy front-driver stock, so I've worked to keep that balance. @Im_Lukas mentioned I ran wide at The Uphill though, so I've been itching to revisit it and shave some time off...

Once I'm done with the road cars, I think I might turn my attention to the Mod board again. It definitely has its own kind of fun, and finding unexpected competitive vehicles is definitely part of that.

Is it still broken when you go into photo mode?

I will be the first to admit I have not noticed that logo, and I've photographed that car in my garage.

I didn't try photomode, but it fixed itself after I switched to another car and back.

My best guess is last I played I think I crashed at some point and quit (that typically annoys the hell out of me when I'm doing a photo run, even if damage can be turned off) soon after, and the original model was never redrawn to completion.

It's a new feature that was implemented, damage carries over indefinitely.

Abarth is maxed, now... Acura.

So now the Honda Integra or the Honda Civic...

I think I'll skip Acura for now and go to Alfa Romero.

Guys, check your inbox on Forza 6. The Ferrari 312P has started to make it's way into your gifts!

Your right behind me level wise. I think I'm 333. Want to race to 1000?👍
Sounds good to me man! If you're actually willing to do so, I'll take you up on your challenge. ;)
Also, if you're wondering just what exactly I'm doing in a Ram Runner, I'm trying to boost the silly car manufacturer affinities (Already did HUMMER, Teradyne, GMC, Cadillac, etc). My ultimate goal is to max out EVERY manufacturer in the game eventually. ;)
