curtis, this is the moment we all here at gtplanet are waiting for: show then how good you are...

good luck to all the racers...

interesting finish with 5 teams fighting for the win...

Damn Curtis, my heart is pumping here! Talk about the grand finale! Do us proud my friend, do us proud!!!

Folks, I just updated the championship standings to include the up-to-the-minute verifications/DQs, controversial or not. They're in the last post of the "Team Standings" thread at the top of the board.

Again, good luck, everybody.

Thurs 29th 10:15 pm GMT.
My slow-ass time is in for Torc Talk. Appologies to the boys in our team trench.. Sorry guys, just couldn't get better and stay clean enough. But when it comes to racing, it's like the old coach said in "Chariots of Fire"
"You can't put in, what God's left out" :dopey:

Very best of luck to all runners fast and sl.. er.. not so fast ;)

Sorry to be a nincompoop, but is there a thread somewhere showing what combo this is and which drivers are participating in it? Who are the fastest drivers in this, the last round?

This is going to be an exciting round.

Momo from Web
Hotboi from GTP
Kart.38 from Times
Honeycar from GTN
Iain from GTIRN

And that's just what I have figured out... should come right down to the final checkered flag 8)

C'Mon Kart! Tear Them APART!!! WOOT!!!

GTTIMES.com 4LIFE Fool..... 👍 .

I've got one thing to say...

Logitech has the crappiest quality control with their products. 👎

:ouch: :grumpy:

Lets go GTP team, lets get this 1st place and own this thing. ;)

Nice to see the competition between the first 5 placed teams.

Pedal issues? :scared: I feel your pain, Ed...

Boy this is tense...GTWEB, GTN and GTPlanet all within a couple of points :scared:

You the man Hot6o4boi...teach 'em who's boss!

If it is pedal issues, then it is very easily fixed.

it depends who fixe .. i am very bad in repair, when i try, all is broken after intervention.. :guilty:

pedal in DFP are very bad.. i had problem with it during this BC, i receive a new just after deadline (Grrr) and it had problems too.. re-Grrrr, bad bad material..

Well I am bad at it too. But all I needed to do was open the base of the pedal and put the sensors (pots) back into their holders. Then I pulled a little bit more of the wires to the sensors into the base from preventing this from happening again. I had a tiny bit of trouble closing it up properly, as the pedals wanted to fall out  but holding it up side down while resting the pedals against my knees did the trick.

This was in March 2004. I have never had any other problems. 👍

I wish it was a pedal issue. That's easily remedied, as noted by others above.

No, this is the damn upshift button...double or triple shifting. This is my third DFPro that this has happened. Unfortunately, there was no time to return it for another warrenty exhange.

I tried using the stick, but it just doesn't fit my driving style. :grumpy:

Time submitted...such as it is.

I haven't had that happen to me yet. But I'm very gentle ... the most severe beating my wheel ever got was during this BC's rally round 6. :D

I've heard others with the same problem though. I seem to remember Werner posted on how you could fix this permanently.

sorry to hear about your continued DF Pro problems NQ . Got to be a real pain in the butt (especially during a BC event). Hope you get it sorted mate. Never had any troubles with my trusty DS2 though :sly: (but i did finallly bite the bullet and purchsed an old Driving Force Wheel today). I guess its like you trying to go back to the pad, as i'm struggling badly with the wheel!

I have the same problem with mine. Any chance of you finding the link for the possible fix?

Man...you'd think that Logitech would step up and re-license MOMO to make a MOMO version of the DFPro. I'd gladly drop three bills on one.

MOMO. Now that was a bullet proof wheel.
