Is Korea usually in the same region as Australia when it comes to patch releases? If so, that may be a hopeful sign that they're now rolling it out to APAC and EU regions!

I think it's more likely the region here is japan/korea.
FLX, it was down thru the PS3, official.

Ive tryed to find the software to that to the 3.60 version but I can seem to find a valid link.

PS: just found the software and downloaded it... so Im thinking of doing just that... no more playing online and no more DLCs? right? cant revert the JB? tough decision but they do leave me no choice, if only someone would keep us informed...

You realize that You can't ever be online again?
No DLC;Autolog,etc...
It's Your call but I think You're taking Your frustration a step forward...maybe if You didn't fed it the last few days with that delusional conspiracy theory that You've built...:dunce:

Ive worked for a big company before, the biggest, teaching in public schools, working for th goverment and things like this cant happen... at least not for long

Shall I laugh...or cry?!:sly:

Good, maybe we all can have some peace now:lol:👍

OK guys, please few answers if anyone with the wheel and 1.02 can bother to try:

> drift physics?
> tire-snap?
> wheel lag input?
> low speed physics?
> maintaining a direction on curved tracks?

Thanx in advance!

No its the same country... the country were the teachers work their A%$# off get disrespected by the students and their parents and are disregarded by the public... as you just showed.

Dont tell me you were losing sleep over me?

You where about to commit PS3 suicide:banghead:

One thing Ive noticed already and I dont like it. no matter what I do in the settings the steering lock on the DFGT is always 900º

Ok, fair enought this is not the right place to discuss it...I was just teasing You:P

Dont tell me you were losing sleep over me?

Nah Man, I sleep as a rock...it was just getting plain boring!:ill:

EDIT:

Was the patch really worth all the grief?

Ok... I dont want to get on peoples nerves so if I did so it was not my intention.

Moving on, I got mixed feelings after the patch...

As far as handling goes it is much improved (Im cutting some corners turning in too soon so they must have improved the imput lag), so is the FFB (like in the first race before but now it stays that way always)... but I went straight to the ring with a GT1 car and got a freeze :scared: so I cant say with all honesty that it was worth it.... because Im now officialy waiting for patch 1.03 the anti freeze patch.... not being able to take fast cars on the ring kind of defeats the purpose of playing this game (at least for me)

So if you though I was a pain before you better put me on the ignore list now

kidding (though after the freeze Im not all that happy)

You can unjailbreak the ps3 later. There is also software for jailbreak that lets you clear the history from the jailbroken ps3.Just search google.

> drift physics: no idea, coz I dont like to drift in Shift 2.
> tire-snap: better grip.
> wheel lag input? being eliminated 99%, almost perfect.
> low speed physics? I dont get you...
> maintaining a direction on curved tracks: I just beat my old record on the same track (Suzuka), same car with same tune almost 3 seconds faster on first try.👍
And I dont have any freeze like someone had.

So I gather you ran into a lot of sinister conspiracies in those public schools? :scared:

Yeah how did you know that?:dopey:

I don't just imagine Im persecuted... I really am persecuted :dopey:

I've tried both GTR and LP540 with full upgrade (over 2000) on the ring, no prob so far. Guess you were unlucky, btw make sure your PS3's temperature is not too high.

Maybe I was unlucky and it was only that time but before the patch it happened a lot also and only on the ring...

Tried the Murci and it went fine for about 20 seconds untill the whole console froze !

Apart from that, the lag etc is pretty much gone, except for that annoying "chewing an apple sound"

Great news... I mean sorry... I was just getting worried that my PS3 was dying on me....
Guess some people just cant seem to go fast enought:dopey:

Thanks ;)

Chewing on the apple is suppose to simulate the going over marbles lollol and I dont think that will ever get patched.

No, it isn't about luck I get freezes all the time in the Ring, Spa, Bathurst with the fastest cars(GT1 and Modern A works converted...:grumpy:
I had to finish the Spa endurance with a retro car(BMW I think) after two freezes in the Kemmel straight in the Ford GT1...:ouch:

"Three" major improvements/fixes listed, "one" previous bug remaining. Glass half full or half empty...

I am very satisfied (many others also from what I am reading) with the 1.02 patch - if they make it "perfect" that would be icing on the cake.

Sorry, you are leaving yourself open with so many negitive comments (PSN- GT5 conspiracy, etc.). But it's your right to speak your mind....

^ Did you reset your wheel to defaults? Changes may not take effect until that's done.
I've been wondering what the rationale behind this myth is. No need for that here. Of course the new code in the patch takes effect immediately - there's no contrived deferred-code-change-until-certain-parameters-have-been-changed -scheme.

Anyway, it's patched! First observations:
- Steering lag is reduced. Could be even better, but this helps a lot.
- No more magnetic cars. Contact is fully possible without ruining the race.

Strange, Im still experiencing this. I don't have a real problem with it though, as it just makes me drive cleaner and avoid contact.

Hmm... OK, maybe I was too happy/positive/hopeful/wearing-my-rose-tinted glasses... :dopey: I just did a couple of races with contact that I would have thought would send me flying. However, I did not encounter that situation which seemed to be the worst previously: touching another car that is going off track and "becoming stuck" to it.

Edit: I might add that my platform is PS3.
