Did you read anything on this thread? Speculations has it if you use hybrids on seasonals and use a thing called secret menu, you will get banned. But I used it online and many people said they haven't been banned yet so.... and why should I care if I get banned on a two year game.

Yeah my friends, but they delete all their hacked cars and I don't like hacked cars because its not required in the game. You basically voiding the warranty in the game if your change codes in the game.

Not exactly though. Why did they delete them? Do they know that the warning has been tested?

Well I see you race on GT5. So i do see why you might not like them for that.

But it just seems like your abrupt change of heart toward them is kind of odd. You should try a hybrid that isn't a noob car (as in ridiculous made hybrids). You should try a realistic car before you call hybrid users "noobs"

Agreed it is against the TOS and people still use hybrids risk their account being banned and they feel thats worth the risk.

Fixed. It's not illegal.... Anyway. If they wanted to bann everyone with one it would have happened by now. What about you make a new account and then try one? If still no i respect your opinion. Illegal is probably the wrong word for what this is.

Breaking the terms of service on a video game is hardly the most heinous offence in copyright law. I'm sure lawyers seeing these threads would just laugh at people saying this stuff is "illegal".

Everyone likes to believe that they are amazing players, especially those who are newer to online or have a very limited group of counterparts. A hybrid provides a scapegoat for a defeat.

The veterans are the guys driving fast in the game's slower cars. From what I've seen of the folks most into hybrids, it simply refreshes the game. The guys building PP specific cars probably couldn't care less about winning as much as seeing how their creation works in a real environment. Based on the actions of Sony so far, it doesn't seem a straight hybrid is reason enough for an account ban.

If I really want to win, I'll jump into one of the cheater cars that the game already comes with like the NSXR LM

exactly, my GT5 disc had been collecting dust for quite some time before the hybrids, i know i'm not the only one who started playing again after the hybrid phenomenon, so getting banned doesn't really matter at this point, well worth the "risk" considering GT5 in it's unmodded state has been boring as hell for two years now.
