Should PD allow this activity in GT5?

I think pd should just make all the cars completely stock after the update. We can drag and race completely stock so the game can be fair!:grumpy:

And what's that going to do? People will just re-hack their cars. You're only going to frustrate everyone.
 
Those 2 guys made my day. I haven't laughed so hard, actually out loud, in quite a bit.
 
Hybrids have been patched! NOOOOO!
Upon selecting my Ford GT Hennessey GT1000 replica, which has 1000HP, the horsepower was reset to 872HP, which is the normal max horsepower. 👎:indiff:

Checking at the moment.

Engine Swaps: NO. My Civette lost it's C4 Corvette engine, and my V8 MX5 has the default engine again.
Chassis Swaps: NO. My M3 GTS Replica with custom aero has lost said aero, resulting in the default 0/20. It had a WEDSSPORT IS350 Chassis.
Drivetrain Swaps: NO. Once again the 7 speed in my M3 GTS has been reset to the default 6 speed.
Suspension Hacks: NO. My "Slamvan" VW Bus was been reset to it's stock ride height.

It is a sad day for us realistic hybriders. :guilty:
To the folks with X1-swapped cars. THIS IS YOUR FAULT! :grumpy:

I'm angry at the fact that I literally wasted days creating unique and awesome cars to drive, and now they've all been reset. However, I will agree with you and say that it will be nice to race online on GT5 without someone in a 100,000HP X2010 ruining the race.

Back on topic, all secret cars are still fully functional. These include:
X2010 JP Flag Color
All X2010 5Gs
Car Color Sample
Wheel Color Sample
All Standard/Premium cars (Standard 787B and GT-R Spec V for example)

I was all for the realistic hybrids, but there are those usual people that don't care and take things out of hand.

The truth is that hybriding is against the TOS whether the product is realistic or not. Eventually, PD/Sony will do something about it.

Until they work another way around the patch and hybrids return.

Exactly. Just ran a Speed Test in my JP Flag Color, and a lap around Wings Of The Red Dragon in a Car Color Sample to see if it still worked. Good to go. Secret cars still work!

Do the secret tuning options work though?
Such as RSS (C) and (V) tires, and the Ultra High RPM turbo?

I'll check that now.
Yes! My Dodge Ram still has weight reduction stage 5, and my M3 GTS can still be fit with the hidden tires (Super Softs and C/V)!
 
No probs Jemima. Looks like it'll be a late night while I attempt to uncover what PD has done in this update. Guess I had a reason to put Cole Phelps as my profile pic. XD
 
I made hybrids as well, but I feel indifferent about them being gone from my garage. Don't care about being banned after maintenance either. This game is just going to go back to sitting and collecting dust, just like before. It was pretty cool while it lasted at least.
