I've said that same thing a few times. There's one guy at PD working on GT5, the raw rookie, right out of school who can't be trusted with anything important. His cubical is way off in the corner, he has 10 year old CRT 17" monitor, a wired keyboard and mouse, and a PC that probaby still has a floppy drive (you kids can look that up on Google). He dreamed up 2.10, probably got crap from Kaz when someone showed him a negative post from GTP at a party one night, then was forced to fix it with 2.11. Kaz saw another post on GTP one night at another party with somebody railing against hybrids and then went and chewed out the rookie for not being one step ahead.

This is why your comments are not taken seriously. There is no actual hacking of any program or console happening. If you had taken the time to educate yourself prior to commenting, people would not attack you.

The answer is ones own arrogance, Ignorance, and just plan lack of interest because of ones own actions. Such as the one I was actually talking to. Some want the modding/hacking back. Many do not. I support those who do not want it back. Hybriding will never happen without the ones who want to abuse it. Some use it for engine swaps, However there are other additional options that can be added grip, braking, etc. Understand?

That is a silly comment. The abuse can be easily addressed with caps on parameters like horsepower. That would eliminate cheating. Instead, the abuse has remained. If the modifications that were already a feature of the software were merely addressed properly, there would be no issue.

When a really good mod tool was made for Battlefield, do you know what EA did? They hired the programmer who wrote it and released it through supported sites. PD could have done that just as easily.

Um.. PD doesn't even have the money to make a GT6 Trial (demo) why should they release a modediting tool for a couple of selfish kids who can't even respect the hardwork PD has done for GT5. That's just an excuse but actually while we're here. Let's have a quiz, Say you are a company like PD making a game like it. You spent 3/4 years making and perfecting your game you have deadlines you're constantly rushing your company to make ends meet. You then have to downgrade because you make your game a little too good for the PS3 can handle. So you work a way around it, You're busy with life, and research for GT5. You try for the Nur 24 hour because you can. You finally reach the release date for your game. You celebrate the day of launch knowing the next few days you're starting on your next game. A few years later a few obsessive nerds crack the code of your game and destroy it with a bunch of extremely ugly cars that they call "More realistic hybrids" How do you go about fixing it? You are already busy with your next game. However a large amount of complaints are coming in from Supportive consumers who aren't happy with the mods period. Realistic or not. How do you go about fixing this issue? Think about it. Your money is limited. The money is already lined up for your next game. Now you have to deal with a couple of selfish kids on a forum who cry about it that feature being taken away from them? The job isn't even finished. Think outside the box, even under the box.

It's a waste of time for PD. I think you need to know your facts or even ideas before you and other fanboys of this modding stuff decide to even try to tell others that they don't know what they are talking about. Stop being selfish.

Yes, I have a job. Since the mid nineties I designed, directed, and produced video games for Activision, Konami, Vivendi, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Acclaim, Crystal Dynamics (before they were bought by Eidos)...I have to check the resume to get them all...

Now I do business development, but I still do game design consulting and game development on the side.

By checking resume do you mean someone elses resume? It has to have your name on it though first. Find an eraser. Not sure how you wouldn't know what jobs you had.
