It is interesting that Chrunch Houston and Groundfish stopped posting here around the time of the presidential election. Sadly I do feel like they are on the wrong side of this issue still.

Chrunch entertained debates & was at least more reasonable in his grievances. Groundfish just straight brought up ludicrous arguments and dug his heels in even when proven wrong, him & that other member whining about "wokeness".

Oh great, now C-SPAN is giving airtime to some cretinous woman who is saying that this is an Antifa false flag and that communism is rampant in the United States. It's wrong to be violent, these antifa thugs are disgraceful and Trump supporters are not violent. But she says storming the Capitol is fine because it's stopping communism.

C-SPAN has clearly run out of material and now they're taking calls from the public. And they're all Trump supporters.

Appealing to emotion with zero substance. The poor lady presenting is just like "And where's your evidence?" time after time after time.
 
Fox News calls both Senate races for the Democrats.

So ... in the last two months the GOP, under Trump, has lost the Presidential election by more than 7 million votes, lost both contested Senate seats in Georgia & lost control of the Senate ... & incited a mob assault on the Capitol building in Washington.

About 3 years ago I was reprimanded for saying "it was stupid to vote for Trump" on GTPlanet. I am requesting a full & unconditional pardon.

I've always been taught that America is a great country no matter who is in power because no matter what the citizens cooperating with each other will keep the country strong. Seeing what is going on now is proving this wrong.
Hopefully this can be a teaching moment for why it is better to protest peacefully but sadly it looks like some people are going to teach this day as what has to be done to protect their rights. Even if there are only a few people that teach the wrong side of history it will make the country look a lot worse as a whole.
