Just as a matter of curiosity ... what brake balance do you guys put on these cars via the wheel options? might have a couple more laps just to see if my car was set up wrong :P

.. looking for excuses why I'm nearly 1 second down on a circuit so small :lol:
 
I've been using (not that you were talking to me, but hey) is front: 5, rear: 4.
 
Sorry, I hope I remember correctly as I was kind of playing with it, but It's not a big lie if I say f=3, R=6 ..a few more at the back at least... used a 1 more too for a while. Turn in better methinks.. (I have to admit that haven't yet tried with more front, less back.. was happy like this)

Cheers Beerz ... I'm gonna defo experiment with this now as adjusting the brake balance so slightly from the default 5/5 sure makes a difference 💡 ran a few laps 5/4 as yours is set up and used no tcs this time and quickly beat my old lap in next to no time and after a good 10 laps I'm now at 57.942 👍

.. Gonna try Timo's brake set up also :cheers:

i have exactly the same(duhhh...) little less front little more back...:)

no more time today ...only had 10minutes and thats too short....

but,tomorrow FULL ATTACK...:crazy:

EDIT:your lap is great timppaq,right on the limit all the way(and a bit over...lol)see a little more time to catch here and there...not mutch,maybe half a tenth or so.....

:cheers: ..I could do better with the T1... :( ..but it's ok. Hoping to hear a '57.5xx today!
 
Board updated with many a post from Page 2 (I've no idea how I missed them, but nonetheless they should now be all in the first-post leaderboard).

It's a record in terms of entries, and its only halfway through the week - 32 as of now. I am sure there are more on the top 100 list, but from those who have forgot to post them here (hopefully I can sort that out later).

P.S - Spyrrari made a recommendation based at HSR. If memory serves correctly, this wasn't a very popular track for some in the early weeks (due to the fact that much of the top 100 times there are done via wall-riding, which leaves us clean racers at a disadvantage when it comes to getting on the top-100 leaderboard). So I put the question to you again, is HSR a viable track for this series? Keeping in mind that we want to be able to make the Top 100 and do so in a clean fashion.

I am not trying to denigrate you and your idea Spyrrari, its just that I know that this event is most effective and enjoyable when it is on a track that we all love. 👍
 
@GT Pro,i hear you mate...and agree with you...it whas more the bmw tti that i wanted to see in the next one...HSR whas just beceause it wasnt in the previous tt's.....fuji maybe??
anyway, after reading the update 1st august post,there will be a change in handling for s1-3 tyres ...so i am thinking the boards will be deleted again,or the cars will be faster after the update....

anyway,will try to attack Timppaq's time today,beceause i dont want to have the keys any longer:sly:

Hi Guys,

Do you mind if I officially join in with these? Had a few laps last night and did a 57.9xx. I also didn't realise about the brake balance thing so will have to try that and see if I can play with the big boys!

It's all i can get out of it.... i know i'm losing time from S1 to S2 split.... but i cannot get it right.......
 
Made an improvement on this during the night and forgot to update .. 57.835 going back for more later 👍

When did you get a wheel? I recall I used to normally be slightly faster than you but now you're kicking my butt.:)
 
well had 2 short sessions and improved a little
GTP_spyrrari1-0'57,663 :indiff:

had 7 or 8 laps where i whas right on top of your time timppaq,only to loose it all the time into the last corner over the hill...:ouch:...

hope i have some more time tomorrow(only 45min today!)and be a little less agressive on the car....
btw,i am starting to get very anoyed by the sound of this car...my woman even asked me if i whas racing vacuumcleaners today:):)

I tried a few laps last night, improved a bit.

GTP_Beerz -- 57.854

Only a bit really, I had a bit too much to drink after work with my mates and skipped dinner.
Still, I match or better Timo's T1, then I don't have a clue how he squeezes off that T2, no matter how many times I watch his replay. It doesn't even look as he's doing that awesomely amazingly well until the T2 split time shows and my jaw drops.
Then, I gain a bit on him on the final sector again.

Will try today again while still sober. :)
 
I guess the few hundrets of laps following zabeu Truth & co. have paid off there... :) I'm leaving it to that.. With a perfect lap I could make it a bit better but it would not make me more happy... Good luck guys!!! 👍 :cheers:

Interesting to see where each driver loses and gains in a text format ;)
 
I'm sure that I saw in the spyrraris lap a sub '21 T1 ????????? Interesting...

edit: oops, sorry... it was the old lap... :ouch:

hehe,yeah i seem to have had an increddible T1 and less T2 at my previous lap....now is seems i loose a little in T1 and get it all back at the end of the lap...

anyways,i think a perfect lap(best sector times realised)should be a 0'57,550 or something...but that would need a lap done by a digital brain:crazy:...lol.

fine by me mate...the thing that makes me smile about this thing is the competition/the fun/the squeezing out of a car on a track,etc etc....not who's first by a fraction of a second:):)

also i have just too little time on my hands to really sit down with a mission only to become first with 0,001 sec..

anyhow,i give it one more try tomorrow for 5 laps,and if the "magic" one isnt there,bad luck:sly:

Had a fiddle with the brake balance and 0.1 came off pretty easily - the other 0.1 I had to work for! :scared:

Hats off to you two nutters in the .6s - madness!:cool:
