Did another few laps and I'm down to 1'02.121. I've been in front of my ghost umpteen times and even abandoned a certain 1'01.xxx just before the finish because I touched a wall I'll get it though 👍

How are you so fast with a controller man? That's damn good. Now if only I could find a way to steal your skills.

Does anyone know how to engage the clutch on the time trials?
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and I'd like to try this combo with it, to see the difference.

I was on for a stormer when I went through T2 in 32.9xx but then I botched it up on the penutimate turn I think I could manage a 1'02.1xx with some more practice.

does the triangle to be pushed have to be the one on the controller? And at what time do we push it?
I totally forgot to try the controller and was only pushing the one on the G25's gear thingy.


So far, I've done a total of about 15 or so laps on this track, and the turns I still haven't done properly in any of the laps are the 1st and the right-hander before the final turn.
also, on this 2nd session I got the final turn a lot better almost on every lap, but I always feel it could have been made faster, as it greatly influences the final laptime.
The fast right-hand sweepers, which I was having more trouble with on my first laps, are now my smallest concern, though it's still scary when we do the 1st one barely scraping the wall at almost full throttle. But it feels great.

All i do is press triangle on the gear shift unit, as soon as you see start appear on the screen and have control of the car. 👍

Ah, ok. I'll try that. Though I don't think it'll improve my time, because there are only about 3 or 4 upshifts, and because it requires a lot more attention and letting one hand go of the wheel, it's harder to maintain precise trajectories.
Still, it's pretty good practice and feels great when you get it right. Also, it's a much more realistic feeling when driving this way, and it somehow gives me a better feeling of the road itself and what the car is doing.

I was chasing your ghost earlier, nice lap. 👍 Do you know you grazed the wall on the left before the final turn? I dont think you gained anything from it, I just noticed it.

Thats why i love using the clutch and H shift, so much fun, since i got my G25 thats the only way i drive. Since i have my pedals offset to the right it feels weird left foot braking now when using the paddles, so i dont. Cluth and H shift all the way.

jep i did,whas anoyed by it beceause it cost me 0,2 seconds(the speed just holds steady for a fraction of a sec..)so it defenately didn't help

you could download a ghost from a fastest player and learn from that...👍
first turn and second fastone are crucial !!
if you whant to come in the top ten;
everything is crucial

I try to race with out a DL ghost first, then I DL the #1 and see where I was good and where I was lacking. I wish you could overlay replays (like 5th Gear) so you could watch in replay where you are going right/wrong.

T1: 16.200 (my best one so far is 16.014)
T2: 33.334

The lap right after, I reached T2 a full 0.385s faster, nailed the 90-degree turns... and totally blew the final turn.

I still see lots of space for improvement, my goal is a 1'01.500.

And I pretty much screw everything up in the last sector.

Shaved a bit more: 1'01.815.

I'm currently 9th, so you can check my replay. Lots of missed trajectories (sp?) on that lap, but it's clean. If I could combine my best sectors, I'd probably be 1st. But that's almost impossible for me.
Best T1 so far: 15.833. On this lap was over 16, I believe.

Should get .115 off next time on turn 1 - might even try the clutch later but the last few turns are bit tricky using the clutch with my set up.

Mister Weary, there is something wrong with you 1st sector, because I can match it. (In the interior view which I'm getting better at now- if only I could not screw up the last sector.)

I was good at the last sector just before, and bad at the early ones, now the tables have changed. This is using interior view now.
