TT #41: Nurb GP/D & Eiger G Trail Reverse

I used a stock and very slightly detuned Scion FRS with just dirt tires and managed a 2'23 on Eiger G. It was really fun.. Now gotta get serious with it.

I'm not a good driver under the best of circumstances and having issues currently with my arm so afraid its suffering even more than usual as I just can't put the laps in I need to so I can really dial the tune in. Hopefully some of the faster types here can use my tune as a base and fine tune things to really get the most out of this little rocket.
Think people forget the X4 was designed and built as a nearly race ready car for under 1,000CC rallying and was a top car for that class in Japan.

As I mentioned in my notes Sirion is the name Daihatsu used for the car in Europe so the cars should be nearly identical in tuning. Haven't checked specifically for this car but I know for one of the other Daihatsus that the JDM version developes slightly higher HP with a turbo so you might need to adjust the power limiter slightly to achieve 400PP. Of course depending on your mileage you will likely need to adjust the limiter anyways unless you have a low mileage copy like I used.👍👍
As far as suspension, LSD, and transmission goes though the tune should be identical.

Stuck at 2.16.1xx on the Eiger TT. That hill is frustrating. I've been using the Dodge Ram If I make progress I'll make a post and maybe even post my tune for the Ram. Its a bit Trophy Truckish

Just did this trial with the Aventador, and then with the R8 4.2.

I just got 1:32.385 with a GT-R Spec V.

I think there might be a flaw in PDs design that this TT is exposing. The much higher torque you can get with some cars should help them climb that hill very well and yet it doesn't.
Despite its relative light weight the Storia/Sirion should be at a disadvantage going up that hill with its limited torque and yet it is one of the fastest if not the fastest there.
Other cars that I've tested on SSRX for acceleration are quicker both off the line and up to 100mph (or their rev limited top speed) yet they all are lucky to even maintain 60mph on that hill, with several actually losing speed. It can't all just be weight either as the second fastest car I tested as far as speed up the hill was a 3000GT That after full weight reduction still weighed in the neighbourhood of 1300kg with 200HP and 208ft-lbs Torque.

All solid points. The Ram has a huge pile of torque that I would have thought would conquer any mountain yet the tires don't even slip, it just bogs. It doesn't seem completely right somehow.

I'm about to start fine tuning 4th gear to try and take maximum advantage of the torque curve lol.

I tried a Mini, which is normally pretty proficient off road, but could only just inch up the hill at 15mph.

Got to 71 in the Move, 4th gear at about 6k rpm, but it not as quick as the Storia overall.

My tune, and with the right hands it can go 3/4 tenths faster

To get the gears, change the rims at Gt Auto and then:
Final far right.
Top speed far left.
And then adjust.

And it wasn't a good lap, missed the apex of the first right and the shortcut.

That's so frustrating, you just have to try and take the positives out of the lap and forget about it and know that if you have enough attempts you have a good chance of getting it all together.

I'm one of those that run on multiple accounts and quite frankly, don't see why you have a problem with it. I could care less if people use 100 different accounts. If you feel that, by people doing this, they are taking up spots on the leaderboards, then by god put your big boy pants on and run better laps and beat their times. I'm no alien but I thrive on the competition. I don't car if its one or 50 Amo's, peasantslayers, yinato's, or whoever, I'm still going to try to beat their times. Your complaint is just silly, rediculous, and childish. Just man up and compete.

Seems they just don't have the software ready to do this.
If they had, they would have done it for the GT Academy.

I can match IMU_URG's lap if I do about 100 laps.
